I endured an over 30-minute wait for my order, during which my frozen smoothies sat visibly melting for a substantial portion of that time. Upon requesting a refund for the delay and compromised quality, the manager, Nick, became dismissive and refused the request, even when contacted remotely. The on-site staff member also claimed inability to process a refund. Manager Nick's phone interaction was unprofessional, and Juan R.'s behavior at the drive-thru felt condescending. Such an experience is unexpected, especially after months of positive patronage. The establishment's disregard for customer satisfaction, coupled with rudeness and an unwillingness to address legitimate concerns, makes it a location I strongly advise against.

You will not be able to find a piece of lint on the floor. Also very friendly and shared a ton of interesting stories! I remembered maybe 10ish years ago acai bowls were in trend. Then it faded? I never tried it while it was in trend because I was a college student and it was one of those moments where you decide to spend $12 on a protein/carb/veggie meal or on an acai bowl that will hopefully keep you full until your next meal. Fast forward and I'm still not in my career yet lol. Making residency salary and having this is moreso as a treat. It's sort of a healthier way to look at dessert? Thicker than a smoothie. Not sweet like Gelato. Can alter it to have higher protein or sweetier depending on what you choose. There are a lot of options and fiber rich. The presentation is pretty. I do think you have to be in the mood for this. My friend loves acai bowls. Me? It's not something I would crave but I'll be down to have it again if my friend wanted it.

There were shops popping up on every corner, and while I always loved acai bowls, they were pretty much the same no matter where you went. And after leaning pretty hard into this trend for a while, I reached acai over-saturation. Fast forward to recent times and I was excited to check out Nautical Bowls when it opened. The menu looked pretty unique, and it had been quite a while since my last bowl. Each weekend would come and go and I would still manage to not stop in. Today, I was sitting on the couch about to doze off. I had two choices: give into the nap Gods, and probably set myself up for a poor night of sleep ahead, or get up and finally make that trip to Nautical Bowls. I chose the latter, and as I mentioned above, I'm so glad I did. I walked in and stared at the menu for an awkwardly long time. Each item looked appealing and it seemed like they were all only 1-2 ingredients different from the last. I considered even building my own, but that thought was fleeting. Let's just roll with one of the chosen items. There's always a future visit where we can get crazy with something custom. So I went with the Blue Bay Bowl: Blue Majik, Açaí, Coconut, Spirulina Chia, Granola, Banana, Strawberries, Coconut Butter Crumbles. I asked what Blue Majik and Spirulina were: I was told both had a coconut cream flavor. I was also told Spirulina was an algae. That almost swayed me away, but I didn't want to be a basic b. Algae, you say? I aint scared. It turns out, this bowl met every single aspect of the fantasy I had in my head when I was debating between taking a nap and coming here. It was amazing. Every bite. It definitely was not your grandmother's acai bowl, either. There was a lot going on and I loved every aspect of it. And as promised, there was no shortage of coconut cream. I will absolutely be back because I want to try pretty much everything on the menu. Welcome to the 'hood, Nautical Bowls!

If I'm not mistaken…read moreThe berry bar is the only dessert place in the area and that's why the customer strategy amazed me. The ownership/management is terrible they are terribly RUDE. First it's a frozen yogurt place. If anyone has been to a frozen yogurt place you know it's self-serve. This place does not believe in sample cups. Which okay I can get past that but their thing is "grab a cup serve the yogurt you are interested PAY for it. If you don't like it do it all over again" the toppings ... you may not touch them ur self someone is there to serve them for you. The owner yelled at us over placing the levelers all the way up on flavors WE SID NOT EVEN USED!! and on top of it all he asked for a tip after their horrible service/attitudes Just skip it better stuff with amazing service down the road. We will not give them business anymore.

Soooo I didn't read the reviews before going, but I definitely experienced the whole "read the…read moresign" treatment. HOWEVER... as someone with severe OCD, I actually prefer this format. I love knowing the items are well attended to and not mushy or days old like the froyo place nearby (super gross!!). The owners and the employee running the shop operate it stricter than the army -- and you know what? I actually kind of love it. Environment looks and feels clean. The employee periodically checked on the machines which is a good sign. My husband's order was brought to us directly despite that there was a line- speaks volume about their "hospitality". I understand if the strict treatment may offend others but people like me respect it and very much prefer this.
