My treatment ultimately extended to approximately four years. Despite this extended treatment time, the original concerns were still not fully resolved at the end of care. The decision to stay with Dr. Lili & Associates resulted in significant additional time, and stress. While I had previous positive impressions from earlier visits at a different location years ago, my recent experience did not meet those expectations. I ultimately felt the treatment plan was not well aligned with the complexity--or simplicity--of my case.

A friend of mine paid extra to keep his braces longer & his teeth look nice. I didn't know that was on option. (4 stars for my son. His teeth are nice but side profile you can notice his overbite) I also ended up getting Sparks, somewhat like Invisalign. My teeth were already straight but due to age they were moving so I went in for a retainer. They recommended braces. I regret it because my smile shifted a bit. I spent a lot of & my smile looks the same, I actually liked the before better ‍‍. (2.5 stars for the recommendation they gave me. I should have just gotten retainers like I had initially gone for).

They are easy to schedule and change appointments if needed and everyone is just so kind. We started Invisalign and I wore those things as much as possible and sure enough, my teeth looked great! Invisalign is a tedious process, but definitely worth it in the end. The office is clean, modern, and they always have a Disney classic on the TV to watch while you wait. The brush station is helpful to get rid of any potential coffee breath with options of mint toothpaste, disposable toothbrushes and mouthwash, so no stress as you finish your coffee on the way to your appointment. When his Yelp page recently appeared on my feed, I felt compelled to share what an outstanding orthodontist he is. My teeth were horrible. I grew up with two sets of teeth on my lower front jaw, and Dr. Mayer truly performed a miracle -- aligning my smile without removing a single tooth. At the time, I was teased both for wearing the "old-fashioned" style of braces and for having two sets of teeth, but Dr. Mayer's skill and compassion completely changed that experience. What stands out most is how genuinely caring he was. He not only corrected my smile but also gave me the confidence to ignore the teasing and feel proud of my appearance. This review has nothing to do with the orthodontist or his services. Actually, he was very nice…read morewhen we had our consultation. However, I do want to speak to the service we received form the person who gave us the estimate for the braces (we'll call her "Patty" even though I know that is not her name). After, not only calling and asking whether braces were covered under my insurance prior to our visit, I also gave "Patty" my children's father's insurance information. She let me know that they would be using my insurance because I was born before their father and who knows what else. I was fine with it. Patty showed me the write up of the estimate and even though insurance was supposedly added to the calculation, the monthly payment seemed too high. We had previously been to a couple of other orthodontists offices prior to having insurance coverage and the amount total price for braces given to us by "Patty" was pretty much the same. I just did not understand how that was the case. I even asked "Patty" if that included whatever the insurance covered and she said YES! I think because I agreed to having the boys get their braces while we were sitting there, she thought I was just going to sign up without questioning her about the insurance again. Something didn't feel right, so I told her I would be shopping around because I knew I could get a better deal elsewhere. We walked out of the office thinking I would just call other offices to get more quotes. When we got home, I looked over the estimates that she had given me and lo and behold, she DID NOT include the insurance coverage. Also, I went on my insurance's website and the office does not show up which means that my insurance does not cover. I would have hoped that when I called, the receptionist would have let me know that they did not accept my insurance. And even if she didn't, and we had gone through with this appointment, I would have hoped that "Patty" would have been honest and told us that the receptionist made a mistake and that my insurance didn't cover but that the total cash amount was xxxxx. Not only am I not taking my children there because they do not take insurance. Even if they did take my insurance, that place seems super shady. I'm sure this gal works off commission or something but deceiving people isn't good for business in the long run. I'm not advising not to go to this office but I would advise to make sure you read everything before you sign it because you obviously cannot trust this lady.
