After using my dental coverage's braces benefit at this office and then being told after 8 months that my son is too immature to have braces, we found another office in town that is excellent. Funny that my son has only broken a bracket once with his new set of braces. Makes me think the Davinci braces that this office used on my son were not being maintained properly since he was breaking brackets almost immediately at this office ... and now hardly ever. This place is one of the 3 places that I did my consultations, with similar high ratings in the area. Glad that I walked away from this place for overpriced tx and aggressive tx approaches. The other two places quoted me $4275 and $4140 for braces. This place had the audacity to price their braces treatment of $5714 (which is more expensive than the average cost of Invisalign in this area), while the financial lady confidently telling me that "you can't find anywhere cheaper than us". When I offered her my other cheaper quotes she just said "well don't come here then." Additionally, tho the dr was personable, yet I found his method to be a bit old school. Granted he's a bit older w gray hair. He planned to rotate my tooth while other younger orthodontist told me that'll put too much pressure on the root and suggested to not rotate it for 180. This place also suggested me to shave my teeth to make more space, while another orthodontist told me my case is pretty moderate and there's no need to shave any teeth. I think I've dodged a bullet with this pricey and outdated tx approach. I'm not telling you to not come here, but I'd suggest you to do your due diligence to visit at least 3 drs to compare them all before committing to one. read more

Over the years the top teeth got out of alignment and the bottom permeant retainer broke after 30 years and those teeth shifted as well. I did quite a bit of research and even investigated the mail order retainer option but when I visited Dr.Gire for my consult he answered all my questions and I put my deposit down that same day before I left. One specific orthodontist assistant was always asking me friendly questions and checking in on me, which made me feel way more comfortable letting someone work on my teeth.
