New picnic tables! We Asked about a different lot a bit longer, that seems to have people in and out , to get our truck off the street, but office said no. Our site was very difficult to get into. Sites are not angled. They have activities and a really nice friendly director. We also asked to have a dirt hole filled directly behind our truck. I fear I will stumble into it . We reported 3weeks ago nothing has happened! It needs a yard of gravel . Thought about kayaking on River but told too wide , so not used by people here. There are no bike paths near here. No WiFi to sites, but you do have a keyed mail box. The small Pool is not screened and no see m's have been horrible. There are 2 pickle ball courts, corn hole and shuffle board. Many in mobile homes here have their friendship formed and live permanently and this makes a difference then an all RV park! Park does have a large laundry room and is kept clean! Machines operate on an app which you put on your phone! They have separate club house w/ kitchen parties are held here. Price is reasonable!

The sites seemed to be adequately spaced and each site appears to have full hookups including 50 amp electrical service. This RV Park is conveniently located a few minutes off I-4 and easily accessible to local ammenties and in very close proximity to their possible work location. The monthly rates are very reasonable and the daily rates makes this a place I would definitely book for short term visits and perfect for those looking for an overnight stay when passing through the area. The property is absolutely stunning -- over 500 acres of peaceful scenery filled with lakes, wildlife, and beautiful open spaces. We spent time exploring on a four-wheeler and were amazed by everything we saw, from alligators and countless birds to longhorn steers, goats, and ducks roaming the grounds. It felt like stepping into a hidden slice of natural Florida paradise. One of our favorite areas was the shaded grove of majestic oak trees with oversized swings where the children played and "hung out". It created such a relaxing, family-friendly atmosphere that made the entire trip feel magical. The campground itself was extremely well maintained. The restrooms and showers were plentiful, spotless, and clearly cared for with attention to detail. It's also exciting to see how much love and vision is being poured into the property. During our stay, they appeared to be expanding with what looks like a beautiful waterfront wedding venue complete with a gazebo and bridge -- absolutely picturesque. This was one of the most memorable family trips we've had in a long time. We had never experienced this type of camping before, having roaming goats, horses and steers mingling with us temporary residents. They employees round up the above noted animals and return them to their designated areas in the evening, so you need not worry about bumping into them in the dark or having them ransack your campsite during the night. They have a few rope platform swings for the kids, or adults if you want to sway. Fire pits and picnic benches are standard at each site. The lake views and hiking trails are awesome, with plenty of fish viewable from the raised shorelines. You can fish here as well, so bring your pole and gear if inclined. The onsite restrooms and showers were impeccably clean. The check in process was a breeze, albeit you need to sign your life away at the beginning. The check in staff provided a printed out scavenger hunt for the kids, who can win an ice cream bar if they find everything that is listed within the camp. The camp store was stocked with items one may have left behind, and reasonably priced. We would (will) go back one day!

A few days later a motorhome with teenagers parked across the street from us and down the street is another young couple with a small child and a baby. Definitely not a 45+ RV park. People park on the sidewalks you can't see to back out which is a safety issue especially with the small children. we have had one of the kids and a dog come to our camper without supervision. There are aggressive dogs. We are parked by the road and it is very busy all hours of the day and night. We either have to wear earplugs are run our air conditioner at night to drown out the road noise. The owner was made aware of the issues and has chose to ignore it all. I definitely won't go back and would not recommend it. There are other things as well these were the main ones.

He was very strong in his words about going the wrong way and we said we're just trying to get to the front and we proceeded to do that and that point I said never mind. I don't even care to camp here so we continued out through the road past the main office to 98 north, he followed us all the way to the road of 98 to get our license plate and to tell us we were trespassing, and he was calling the law. We are decent people and we weren't coming in and disturbing anything. We just wanted a decent place to camp and that had a pool, we will never ever grace that place and nobody else should too.

They were anything but premium plus in my opinion and we ended up moving to standard sites (3 price levels lower) with shade and way better wireless signal. The rules at this place are not ideal for those traveling with pets such as my friends. No tie downs and no outside fences. The not so nice front desk clerk (NOT Chloe - the other one!) made it a point to call out the fact that people before us ruined it for the rest of us by leaving their pets unattended outside and then bad things happen. How about having a rule that just forbids leaving pets unattended outside? What a novel idea! The not so nice lady also asked if we had even read the rules and that's when Karma kicked in and she herself noticed the printing error (picture attached) that somehow combined pets and fires into one. One pool sign also reads that it closes as 6pm while the other one says dusk. How difficult is it to just have consistency? As for the sites themselves, they are great. The camping community is also great but this review is more about this resort so back to it. Chloe on the front desk is an absolute gem! She takes customer service and sprinkles sugar and sweetness all over it and delivers it with such grace and pleasantries! She is a rockstar. Perhaps the other one could learn a thing or two. The wireless is only good in certain areas. They did acknowledge that it's bad and blamed it all on Spectrum saying that they didn't deliver what they had promised to deliver. Coming and going into this place is anything but pleasant. You'll press the button to alert the ranger and be greeted with an unpleasant voice that says "RANGER" and that's about it. After stating why you're there the gate will open. I think they found the grumpiest guy in Polk county to work here as a Ranger. Although we did end up meeting another ranger who was the complete opposite. Super nice. We ended up spending a good 20 minutes having great conversation one evening while out riding the incredibly expensive rental golf cart. ($135 for a 2 night maximum - quite steep!) Camping was great, especially with friends! As for this place, I'm not sure I'd come back here. Make sure you're aware of the rules. For sure the non pleasant front desk clerk will ask if you had read them.

I loved that we all had our own cottages and in the mornings we would gather at one and have breakfast and coffee together, just catching up. There was so much to do as well. The kids had a blast in the pool and some went fishing on the dock. We played games and chatted for hours. The cottages were well stocked and comfortable. I rented the 2 bedroom and it had 2 ac units to keep the place cooled down. I only had 2 gripes during this stay: 1. The shower head in the restroom. I'm not saying that it needs to be a rainfall shower head but a regular shower head set up in the ceiling isn't working. They need to just move it where a regular shower head goes, on the wall. 2. The bug bites. I mean, I get it, it's right on the water but no amount of bug spray worked. No home remedies worked. You just had to take it. I walked out of there looking like I have chicken pox but I had a great time! Other than that, everything was amazing! Tami and Lynn were great and any questions we had they were both ready to help. I will definitely come back but it won't be in the summer, I have learned my lesson lol.
