Today (5/23/2026) I had the full ceramic tint installed on the two rear windows, back window, and roof of my Tesla Model Y. My front windows and windshield were already tinted by another shop that also did a good job, but I wanted to see if ceramic tinting the rest of the glass on my Tesla Y would help keep the cabin even cooler. The quality of the work from The Wrap Source looks amazing. Everything came out smooth with perfect cuts, no bubbles, and no imperfections. The car came in brand new in black, and we had them apply a stainless steel-colored satin wrap, ceramic protection, window tint, and smoked taillights. The transformation is incredible. The satin finish makes all the high-gloss black and red elements pop in a way they didn't before. It's striking. We've already had multiple people stop and comment - including someone at a gas station who said it was going to be his next car. Now the Volvo. It's over seven years old but still in great shape with under 38K miles, and I wasn't ready to part with it. Instead, I refreshed it. The original two-tone white and black is now wrapped in a British racing green-colored wrap, and it has completely changed the car. The existing black and red accents stand out in a whole new way and paired with the rare lava-colored interior carpets, it feels like a brand-new car again. And yes, it's also getting plenty of attention on the road. The craftsmanship at Diamond is top-notch. The technicians clearly take pride in their work, and it shows in the final product. But the standout is Cooper in the front office. He's an excellent communicator and is fully focused on making sure everything is exactly as expected. Just big enough to accommodate her needs, a battery-operated noise when pushing a button, a horn and steering. The only issue is they only have them in blue or red. What to do, well I started calling car wrap places to see if they would be kind enough to take on this 28" car and do a custom wrap using the color pink. After being told how no one would take on this small project, yet time consuming no less I was fortunate to have found Socal Signworx and speak with Teresa. She was incredibly accommodating and kind. I then had the pleasure of meeting her husband, Jason, another super great guy. The child's toy BMW was the hit of the party. I only hope that the kindness they showed to me will convince others to use their services.

1-Star Review for Variety Wraps…read more I began working with Richard at Variety Wraps in late September to design and install a business wrap on my 2007 Toyota Yaris. At first, things seemed positive -- I provided my logo, and we discussed design ideas, colors, and the heavy oxidation on my car's paint. Richard acknowledged that and said he would determine the right "tackiness" of vinyl to make it adhere properly. Unfortunately, the project quickly became an ongoing "big experimentation," in his own words. He repeatedly mentioned how difficult the oxidation made the job but never recommended the proper preparation steps -- such as sanding or priming -- that other reputable wrap shops later told me are essential for adhesion and longevity. Several shops confirmed that a car with significant oxidation should never be wrapped without those steps. Instead, he continued trying to apply pieces of wrap directly to the oxidized paint, saying he was "testing different materials." After delays, scrapped pieces, and constant complaints from him about how challenging the job was, it became clear he didn't have the expertise for this situation -- or any real timeline. At one point, he admitted he couldn't say when the car would be finished because of the "special situation." I needed the car for work and had planned to bring it back, but when I picked it up, though the roof had been completed, the cuts were uneven in places making it look unfinished. At that point, I decided I couldn't continue. He later invoiced me for "a la carte" fees, including $300 for artwork, $150 for prep/experimentation, $250 for the completed roof, and $250 for partial installation -- charging me half of the quoted price, even though not even half of the car had been completed. I paid to close the chapter, but I regret it. He texted me several times afterward asking to finish the job, but I simply couldn't risk it. Would you? When I asked why he didn't sand the car first, his response said it all: "I'm not a paint expert." He even began questioning me about how other companies handle sanding and rust prevention -- which made it clear who was actually lacking expertise. Worse, when I asked for the design files I had already paid for, he stopped responding to my messages. To date, I have never received them. I've went to a more professional shop that confirmed the problems with his work: uneven cuts, no protective lamination, and improper preparation. I strongly caution anyone considering Variety Wraps -- especially if your vehicle has paint wear or oxidation. Richard kept saying he was trying to "educate" me about the issues, but after he used my car as an experiment, I'm not sure I was the one who needed the lesson. What should have been a simple business wrap became an expensive and frustrating "experiment".

We asked for a quote from My WIndow Solutions, got one that was quite good. We had explained the rationale for getting a replacement window (the leak). Parry sent over his crew right away to caulk around the existing one so we wouldn't get any incursion while waiting for the new one to arrive and get installed. Nice! For this job, I had also asked to have a custom window casing and deep windowsill built. We agreed that I'd buy the materials (a particular trim profile and hardwood species), prime them, and they'd do the cutting and installation. This collaboration worked perfectly.

Second, it was a green door, meaning, it was not totally cured and oozed out sap for 4 months. 6 months later, the door cracked. After several months, they agreed to a new door. When it came, it was not measured correctly so I had to wait another 6 months for the next door. so now the door is installed, I had to pay again to get it repainted. Guess what, 6 months later, that new door cracked. They will not replace the door so I have to live with a cracked door since they told me it is past warranty. their solution...pay another $1500 to install a fiberglass door as a replacement. I would not even give this company 1 star if I could.

CALLENDER'S HOUSE OF GLASS IN CAMARILLO IS GREAT! I had problems with my…read moresliding glass doors. The sliding door issue was that the Low-E coating was failing leaving visible streaks on the glass. The stationary door may have been broken by something projected from the gardener's mower or weed eater. I called Callender's Glass and they told me the Low E door could be replaced under warranty as I was the original purchaser. Then Callender's gave me a very fair price to replace the broken pane. ($1249.29) Milgard replaced the Low E glass under warranty and Callender's did an excellent job on the fixed door. Julia in the office was great. Very knowledgeable, very nice and very efficient. I would never consider any other glass company. By the way, Quality Windows and Doors in Oxnard sent me a quote for $2551.85.

The quality of their products is great, and the service I've experienced has been top-notch. I find it's rare to have great service these days, and especially service worth writing a 5-Star review about! The first time I came in, they explained clearly the different types of window tint and their applications, and even gave me a great deal on getting my whole car done. A couple months later, I began noticing some slight bubbling in the rear window of my car. I'm positive that there was some dust in there due to my car being super dusty. ‍ I took my car in to get it checked out, and right away the man working there told me without hesitation, to bring it in to fix! No hassle, no excuses, no delays. When I brought it in later, they serviced me promptly and treated me with genuine care and respect. I was pretty astounded by their good attitude; I feel that most people would grumble even a little bit. Once my car was done the second time, asked them if I owed them anything, and they responded "No sir! Everything is covered and we just want you to be 100% happy with what you got." I was thrilled to receive an auto tint package from my son as a gift for Mother's Day, through their Groupon offer. Aldo couldn't have been nicer, both on the phone when I made my appointment, and in person when I arrived for the installation. The shop is easy to find, clean and professional, with a very nice waiting room with a TV, and even Netflix, so I could watch a cool movie while I was waiting. The job was done so quickly I didn't even get to finish my movie, lol, and my car looks awesome with the new tint! I paid a little extra to upgrade to a better quality film, and it looks great! I had my car tint done in this company . First impression ; the company was legit and they have all the 3 M tint materials you would inquire . Shey gave me an eatimate and I decided to have my car tint done the next day . The next day I brought my car to their shop and that it will be done in the afternoon . They offered to pick me up when it is done . They communicated well regarding pick up time and Martin drove me back to their shop . I saw my car nice and pristine with the new tint . My husband is one is shops around for a good price and quality work. He found both at City Auto Wraps and Window Tinting. Not only was it a pleasure to meet one of the owners, it was also a treat when we were given the amount of time the window tinting would be done, it was; we drove from Simi Valley to Camarillo. We appreciated the knowledge of explaining the 3M tinting material and appreciated not being pressured to purchase that material rather than the basic tinting material used. We did purchase the 3M for a few dollars more and very happy with the work. We are now considering getting the clear tinting shield over our front bumper. read more

I believe I made the opponent with the owner he was really easy to talk to and straight to the point. They took me in the day I called. I was one of the first to receive a Tesla Model 3 in the Ventura area, and sought someone I could TRUST to improve this already amazing automobile. I upgraded the Groupon I had to include front windows and windshield with premium 3M glass and life time warranty as well. The only thing I wish I knew before going here was that 5 windows means the 2 back windows, the 2 little quarter windows and the rear window. Regardless I am happy I came here. They did an excellent job on my four door sedan. Very pleased with the quality of the tint. I chose the 3M tint that not only has made the car more aesthetic and private but also effectively blocks out UV radiation from the sun. My skin is protected and heat is kept from entering the car. I noticed the difference starting the first day I had my windows tinted and would highly recommend others choose this tint. A little bit expensive but worth it. I wanted my front windows tinted with a film that would not change the color too much. I know it's illegal to have your front windows tinted but it was so hot in the car. I even kept my sunroof closed most of the time so the heat didn't radiate through it. I stopped by to talk to see if they had any suggestions. I made an appointment for later in the day. Came back an hour later and my front windows and my sunroom were tinted with a ceramic tint. Love it! I would recommend them for sure! read more

Even though the time say they were open at 830am the owner opened closer to 9am, he was very friendly gave me a good deal for tinting my rear and back windows for my 2015 Camry. I got LLumar Air series 80 windshield and Pinnacle 30 for the front windows. My other Prius I got stratos 50 for the windshield. Melissa handled scheduling and pricing with zero hassle--straight answers, no surprises. Bryan broke down the process clearly and carried himself like someone who knows his craft. The owner runs a tight operation. The place is spotless, organized, and clearly built around professionalism, not shortcuts. The waiting area is cleaner and more comfortable than most living rooms. Both cars were finished quickly and done right. If you want LLumar installed by people who take their work seriously, this is the spot.

I also asked over the phone if I needed an appointment, he said no. Now that I am here in person ( I drove from Santa Paula) to see if they can take care of it , he said I needed an appointment. I told him that's not what you said over the phone. He claims he never said that... he was being a smart ass when I was asking questions. Why give warranties if you are going to be acting so rudely! 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND take your money else where! Also their sign in the front says "no appointment necessary" he said that is old and they don't go by that! You should remove it!

After talking details Leo and his assistant went straight to work on the car and I was out the shop in literally 1 hour. Being a busy person with a tight schedule I was really glad Leo was able to take care of me. Most places would have turned me away and I even got rejected from a few shops because they wanted 3+ hours with the car. Leo, however, was extremely professional and kind. I highly recommend coming to this tint shop and getting this service to protect your prized possession. First drive off the lot and I already feel a reduction in heat on the inside of my car.
