Yummy. I drink the iced tea and love it. I also like the espresso drinks. The salted caramel latte was too sweet for me, but it is a matter of taste. Other family members love the espresso drinks. I am addicted to the lemon bread. Nice and moist. The cookies are pretty good. The bagel was a bagel, not too exciting there. I haven't tried the oatmeal, but they have a wide spectrum of choices. This location was right next to where I was everyday while in Bozeman for work so of course I stopped in and checked it out at least a few times. It was the specials they were having in summer that made it the best part-the huckleberry green tea frapp-amazing!!!! The staff was friendly and the interior was clean and spacious. I locked my keys, phone, and wallet in my car, and I knew from previous experience to stop in because your staff is so helpful. They helped direct me to the public transportation and even offered me food/beverage in my stressful situation. (I declined but the fact that you empower staff at any level to be able to offer that is what makes super fans.) Visiting here from California. Came for a light breakfast. Got the coffee but 45 minutes later still no breakfast sandwich. Left a dollar tip to be ignored while other younger and prettier people are served with respect. So now I gotta go back to the cashier and ask for my tip and some of my money back. Super rude experience from both the barista and the assistant manager D. Falk. The barista got smart with me about sweeteners, saying a sweetener is anything sweet and I tried to tell her that I'm a diabetic and couldn't have sugar because she said sugar/liquid sugar that they use, was in fact a sweetener. She said what I wanted was an artificial sweetner and I needed to ask for that next time, through gritted teeth. They reluctantly made me another coffee. I contacted the asst manager and she was apologetic and offered me a $25 gift card but never left it for me like she promised. I will not be going back to that location. read more

This is my favorite coffee spot! Every time I go here the employees are so friendly and happy to help you. One day I waited in the drive thru line at the window for a little longer then I probably should have, but I didn't complain about it because I know it can get busy, but the barista was kind enough to hand me a 50% off my next drink coupon for waiting so patiently. During our road trip we made a pack, to try places we have never been to, and no chains that we use. City Brew fell into this but we ended up breaking the rule because we kept coming back, we got the Montana Morning? Not sure what it was called, it was delish regardless and we kept coming back to get the same beverage, I strayed once when I got the white peppermint mocha. Both good. They offered a mocha caramel butterscotch drink and it sucked, not sweet like it sounds and you could't taste the butterscotch. The employees here are a lot nicer than the ones I've dealt with at Starbucks. I recommend coming here if in the area. read more

I frequented City Brew because it had the best hours and a drive thru. The coffee is just ok. It is tough to get a seat inside the restaurant. They have some unique coffee signature drinks, but their coffee itself is not to my liking. The employees are always friendly which makes a huge difference. read more

I am a HUGE City Brew fan! The coffee is amazing, I buy it for my own coffee maker at home even! I have never been unhappy with them. Love it! I have friends from out of state who love it as well (when they come to visit)! The employees know me by name, are friendly and a great bunch! The treats are tasty too. It's my favorite place to go if I am going to write or research for my projects. I love to meet up with my friends there to catch up with each other. My kids regularly ask if we can go there. Good coffee, that's not too industrialized Starbucks like yet, but still homey feel. Staff is always friendly, but I will admit, the canned greeting upon entry and ordering really needs to go. Drip coffee is good quality, a little on the over roasted/strong side for me but not burnt tasting by any means. Cons: -A better job could be done with cleaning tables, floors etc - Wish they had bottle and can recycling, and more eco friendly cups. read more

I switched over to City Brew because they have GREAT customer service, love the space inside their stores, and drive thru goes super fast. I like it, I don't drink coffee but my mother said that it was fantastic. I had an orange-cranberry scone, it was warm and very yummy. The bathrooms were also nice and clean. The staff was friendly and organized. It was busier when I went in there but it was mid-morning on a Saturday so that makes sense. And, they have really trained their employees well: they are always super friendly and pleasant to interact with. The coffee is delicious, and I LOVE that I can get almond or rice milk!! Hallelujah! I like to get a mocha with almond or rice milk, or a vanilla latte with almond milk. *Hint* do not get a vanilla latte with rice milk; it ends up to syrupy and sweet. City Brew is a great go-to fast coffee option. Especially with this location near the 19th St exit to I-90. Not the best City Brew store in my opinion. Yes, it does matter, some are more friendly or well-trained than others. I like City Brew's seasonal specialties. They offer sweet drinks that nobody else has. RUN ! RUN TO ANY OTHER COMPANY TO SET YOU UP WITH A DRIVE THROUGH !!! After taking my deposit and canceling my contract they refused to return my deposit of over $21,000.00. They signed a new contract with my partner after he illegally dissolved our business in Salt Lake City and kept my money. He opened a City Brew drive through at a location in Salt Lake that I found but had to turn down because I could not get the curb cuts for entry and exit. They put a drive through in at that location that I turned down and it was a total failure. They treated me very badly and I cannot even describe what i went through because of them. I would suggest you think very seriously about doing any business with this company. I have a lot more to say about what they did to me and put me through. They refused to honor the contract we signed and after taking all of the money I had and cut me off totally. I feel they were very deceitful in every thing they said to me.
