Oatmilk latte was spot on. Cool cafe in Bozeman! Great to hang out with friends or even do some work while enjoying a good cup of coffee.

Quaint coffee shop in the heart of Bozeman. The town is much smaller than I thought but places like Zocalo have a lot of heart. The space features exposed brick, a second level, and large mirrors. The staff is kind. The coffee is SO good. Their specials are creative and delicious. Start your day here!

This was a cute and quaint coffee shop with amazing lattes. I had a small vanilla latte with oatmilk. It was so good and fair price. The shop was eclectic and had a relaxed vibe. Our barista was so friendly. We will stop in again on our way back home.

We found this place on yelp and decided to give it a try. It can be a little tricky to find it's in between two buildings. You walk in see the menu and you order. There's little tables along the wall and also towards the back. There's an upstairs you can go to. We got our coffee to go. It's pretty good quality beans. The quality and taste is there. It's probably the best in the area. The service was pretty good. Overall had a good experience and price was regular to other coffee spots.

Super cute place. Barista was really hustling and worked register and made drinks cheerfully! Fun menu with some delicious specialty drinks. Some beer and wine, too! I opted for a Scooby Snak: 2 shots, chocolate, chai and steamed milk. Excellent! In town two more days and will be back both of them. Highly recommended!

Zocalo offers some very smooth coffee. I ordered a flat white and it was done well. The coffee house has a coolness factor that makes you want to hang around. They have are and other funky design elements. The good news is they offer the coffee in a real cup which adds to the coffee house vibe.

Very cute coffee shop! ATTENTION: they do NOT serve wine, only beer. Service was kind and prompt

Well poured espresso with a smile. The good: Beans are great, awesome service, and baristas know how to use the equipment. Picture is a cortado. Is nutty, and lovely. If you love proper espresso, this is the joint.

Cute shop ! Ordered a dirty chai latte and loved it ! The taste of their chai was delicious not super overwhelmingly sweet ! Would definitely go back !

Our waitress was very kind, provided great service & great recommendations! We had the FRITES & FONDUE for an appetizer, fries were great, the Parmesan was a nice touch and the fondue didn't have a lot of flavor. We both loved the our entrees, as we continued our meal seeing all the other entrees going to tables we are excited to come back to try the vast options on the menu. The cheesecake was delicious & fresh we truly appreciate the quality & taste of desserts being made in house- you can tell the difference & it is absolutely worth it. The Fungi Pizza: This is our usual go-to, but the dine-in version was totally off. For takeout, they pack the greens separately so you can control the heavy lime flavor, and they include a cream of mushroom sauce that makes it incredibly creamy. In the restaurant, they forgot the cream sauce entirely and piled the greens on top with so much lime it tasted like biting into lemons. We tried adding salt and pepper to cut the intense acidity, but it didn't help at all. The Japan Chicken: On the plus side, the Japan Chicken was excellent--incredibly juicy and crispy. This dish is actually much better when you dine in. When we get it for takeout, it loses its crunch and ends up feeling like a basic chicken nugget. Definitely order this one fresh at the table.

**November 2025: Saturday Night**…read more My mom and I were looking for a spot to enjoy dinner that had parking. We drove around downtown Bozeman for a good 30 minutes, and didn't have any luck in securing parking. I found Mountain Walking Brewery and thought I'd take a chance and prayed that there would be a lot or that I would be super lucky with street parking. We were in luck and there was one very small spot near the front of the restaurant - hallelujah! The restaurant was poppin' - almost every table was taken, but we were offered bar seating and we gladly accepted. After purusing through the menu I decided that we should try a variety of items including a side of Brussels sprouts, Bowl of Bison Chili, and a Fig and Arugula Pizza. Service was quick and we got all our items in a pretty timely manner. The pizza had a really great crust the dough had a nice bounce to it. I think for me they were a tad overly generous with the balsamic vinegar glaze which made the pizza quite salty. I would definitely order a pizza again but perhaps the Margherita or the Carnivore. The bison chili was a good standard bowl and the brussel sprouts while crispy was also very salty - I think it was definitely over dressed, but maybe since the majority of patrons were drinkin the salty foods would pair well. Seems like a fun place to hang out, but for me I'd probably pick anything that doesn't have glaze or soy sauce.

I gave suggestions of the beers and he made outstanding choices. I had the cauliflower wings with sweet chili sauce. Perfect fry on the cauliflower and the sweet chili had a great sweet and spicy balance. The bison chili was pretty good. The flavor and body was enhanced when you added the cornbread to it. Together is was a good bowl of chili. Great place to kick back for good food and a beer.

When we came in at around 4pm, there seemed to be plenty of tables available but after an hour, the place quickly filled up. Vibes/Service: Parking lot in the back and it seemed there was some street parking available as well. Many, many tables available with bar seating as well. It can certainly fit a larger group. Great service from our server. Checked on us often and filled up our waters. Food: Because it was our first meal here, we wanted to try out their staple dishes. -Bison Potstickers ($16): 5 pieces topped with mango and garlic chili sauce and served with some coleslaw. Rich and filling, paired well with the sauce. Would order this again! -Bison Patty Melt ($22): it was my first time eating Bison, the waiter suggested medium rare. It looked more red than I usually like but it actually was juicy and tasty-- I guess this is the difference between a regular beef patty. I'd also order this again. -Served with pepper parmesan fries which was so uniquely food. Fries were fresh. -Huckleberry Cream Ale ($8/pint) paired well with my meal.

My server knew the special menu, regular menu and drinks very well. I ordered the bison patty melt and tots for the meal and the Bridger Hazy IPA for the drink. The bartender recommended the IPA and it was excellent. The homemade tots were great. A shredded potato in the middle, nice and creamy and crunchy exterior. Feedback was there were only 5 on the plate. Definitely could use more. The bison patty met was perfectly cooked. A lot of folks overcook and dry out the bison. It was perfectly medium and juicy. Feedback would be a little char on the patty would be great. The service really tailed off in the end, it was not super busy and they had about 5 servers behind the bar. I sat there for at least 15 min until another bar tender asked if I wanted another brew and my server came about 5 to 10 later to attend to things.

We went up & ordered right away. This (our 3rd stop in Montana) was the 1st place to hand us the 3 stamp card. We, not being from Montana, looked at it as if he'd handed us a random appendage from his body, no doubt. All we were trying to do was pay for our drink - ha. His explanation was "that's our tab, if you decide you want another, bring the card up." We tried to explain that we didn't want another. We were only having one & we'd like to pay. He told us to hold on to the card & pay after we were done. We went out back to the permanent food truck and ordered Kels kryptonite, the pretzel & a chicken & Belgian waffle w/ hot honey. It took about 20min. While we waited, we sipped our beer and flipped these cards over looking for clues... then we took to Google... then we spied on other people. Maybe we would have enjoyed the beer more if we knew what these cards were for and what the heck we were supposed to do with them! Fossil Fuel IPA scored a 3.25 from Kel n/a from me The Capone Oatmeal Stout a 3.5 from Kel 3.25 me Both on the average side with no major knocks or stand outs for features. The food was fresh & tasty - we wrapped up & went inside. We were asked for our cards, our book was stamped, we paid for 1 beer & went out still lost... At our NEXT stop, the barkeep explained that by Montana law, there's a 3 pour limit & a lot of larger places uses cards to track pours (aha!) & a strict 8pm cut off for taps - which we came waaay too close to!
