We were in town for a hockey tournament and found this spot online. Made a reservation (I would suggest this as it did get pretty busy). The food was fresh, hot and delicious. Like many businesses it seems in town, they were understaffed but the server was nice. Sit back and enjoy yourself in this super cute and relaxing spot. read more

Amazing experience. Now my favorite restaurant in Fergus Falls and actually a favorite for anywhere. Great service & great food. It is misnamed, It is not so much a bar as an Italian restaurant. And... it is an exceptional Italian restaurant. Last night we had pizzas. They were different from average pizza fare. they make a light airy crust and with fresh ingredients. My friends and I went here due to the amazing reviews we read. We were not disappointed at all! The restaurant has a fascinating atmosphere of celebrating American history, as demonstrated by the portraits of former presidents (such as Abraham Lincoln), older flags, and general patriotic items. They also have a chalk wall for customers to leave messages behind, which I found a fun way to engage their clientele. The pizza was tasty. I really enjoyed that the dough was think enough to not be doughy and was crispy. There was plentiful sauce, both red and hot (since I ordered the buffalo chicken). They brew their own beer and are happy to provide samples and recommendations. Their staff were also incredibly welcoming and warm. My favorite pizza in Fergus Falls. We each order our own pizza when we go here as we found it is very tasty warmed up later as well. Fresh dough and ingredients cooked over a woodfire grill. You may have to experiment and test a few pizzas to find the ONE that will get you hooked as they have several interesting combinations. Neat setting downtown Fergus Falls. Usually an excellent selection of craft beers from local and regional brewers too in addition to a variety or two from Union. We love Union Pizza! read more

I'm giving this place 5 stars for the following reasons: 1) pizza is fantastic 2) Fergus Falls needs more fun local spots like this 3) Service was very good and friendly 4) good selection of beers and wine 5) prices are reasonable for the high quality Our server was really bubbly and friendly and the atmosphere felt really welcoming and warm. We ordered the Margherita and ordered a cheese and added mushroom and pepperoni. We loved them both! The Margherita tasted so fresh. The cherry tomatoes were sweet and juicy, the mozzarella was perfect. It's great to see another local and artisan company pop up in Fergus. Now every time we visit family, we're definitely stopping here for dinner. The only con: the wait was super long. We had to wait an hour to be seated, then another 45 mins to get the pizzas. I didn't think this was enough to go down a star though. read more

Good beer and good pizza. Service can be hit or miss. I ordered both nights the Mushroom specialty pizza with the addition of sausage. They got it right the first night I came here and it was excellent. The Mushroom specialty pizza is a cream-based sauce. I ordered the same thing the second night I visited, and even pointed to what I was ordering on the menu, but was brought a red sauce version with mushroom and sausage. Despite my disappointment that the comprehension wasn't there with our server I truly did like the version with the red sauce. Beer was well crafted, hands down. No complaints there. I will be back when I come through in the future. read more

Went for beers, the lager and APA were very phenolic..like band aids. Couldn't finish the lager after the APA. I gave them the benefit of doubt if they had used some crazy Belgian yeast strain but this was not the case. My drinking buddy had the Porter and it was OK didn't show the same flaws... Also ordered the cheese plate and two pizzas including the Italian sausage and Thai pizza. The cheese plate was a little expensive for a chunk of Munster and aged cheddar or Parm and some pizza crusts with some cherry compote and sausage with figs... Great concept but poor execution. The beers made on site were very disappointing I would not go back for them. I ended up drinking a couple of Surlys that were poured in mason jar glasses, not appreciated as a beer lover. The Thai pizza was good when considering the flavor but the crust was either overdone or the dough was too old for true Neapolitan style pizza. I have had better in Italy and Mexico but considering this is Fergus Falls probably the best pizza available here for the style. Overall the pizza was worth going back for but I would not have their in-house made beers again. read more

Had the opportunity to stop by this local, kind of funky pizza joint last night. Absolutely love the Decour, definitely a funky kind of place with mismatched chairs and civil War, americana type Decour. Onto the pizza, we ordered the four cheese and the Thai pizza, I'll start off with the good, the Thai pizza was absolutely wonderful, great flavors, great flavor combinations and flavor profiles, the crust was cooked very well, it's a thin cracker type crossed and I would give that pizza and a plus. Now onto the bad, we also ordered the four cheese and paid an extra dollar to get green olives put on the pizza, the pizza came out and truly looked Flat and uninspiring. There were exactly 7 tiny pieces of green olives on the pizza and, what I think happened, being a foodie, the cheese pizza was done way before the Thai pizza and sat, because there is definitely a significant temperature difference between the two pizzas. That kind of inconsistency between pizzas on the same order is just not going to win a five star review for me. read more

Starting with the Jeff Davis, a rich and smooth porter brewed on location, it was another great night at Union P&B. Next we had a wedge salad with fresh ingredients from just down the street (our multi-talented server grew the radishes herself!). She described two new pizzas in a way that made them irresistible, so we tried the Clams Casino. It was excellent. These people have perfected the wood fire pizza and a great lineup of local and regional beers, all in a fun, energetic atmosphere. It's a smaller place, so you may need to wait or take a seat at the bar. Two big tables in the center of the dining room can be shared or accommodate bigger parties. When you go, think about taking home a growler of Jeff Davis or the latest local brew. read more

This place was very nostalgic. It reminded me of a 1930s school house. All of the table and chairs were old and the lighting was retro. It felt very traditional but yet trendy at the same time. The pizza was great. We had a bacon cheeseburger and a sausage pepperoni. The toppings were fresh and the crust was thin and we'll rounded. We arrived around 6pm on a Friday evening. We had about a 15min wait to get a table. Once we got a table it took a little over 1.5 hours to receive our pizza once we had placed the order. The waitress was nice and the girl who seated us was also nice. Summary: good pizza but not good enough to wait over an hour for. Maybe others don't mind the wait for their pizza if they drink...? Have a few beers while waiting for the food. read more

Came in to sample a unique beer brewed by this brewery and have a pizza. Major disappointment to find that a brewery doesn't have a single one of its own beers on tap. Reuben pizza was tasty and somewhat interesting though not out of this world. Decor is thrown together and feels like a dated antique store: out of place and not cohesive. Service was just ok.
