Nice and cozy vibe, I could definitely see myself coming here every morning for breakfast. Staff are super friendly and willing to go above and beyond. My friend and I had our food brought to us personally, and the man who served us even went back to bring us napkins. The food was good--I highly recommend their donuts! The breakfast bagels and croissants are so good. My favorite is the supreme #9 it has ham, bacon, sausage, egg, and cheese on a croissant. The shrimp pad Thai is also a favorite. Today I got a recommendation from a coworker about a donut shop here in Reedley, California. I've lived and worked in Reedley for quite a few years and didn't even realize this place had other food. The recommendation I got from the coworker was that the pad Thai was the best that she'd ever had. So I had to run over and try it today. She wasn't wrong. It was awfully delicious. I've only had pad Thai from a restaurant and usually it's pretty saucy and Americanized. . I've never had had Thai in Thailand, but I would imagine this is pretty close to what you might get. Arrived to pick it up. Order was ready and they have a variety of donuts! I picked the adorable Minion & Hello Kitty donuts to go with breakfast croissant for tomorrow. I'm going back.... But let me explain that the 3-stars are only for the Thai tea. We Wanted Thai tea boba and so I thought I'd try a new place by. I was not impressed with the Thai tea. Here's why: -they used mocha creamer which took away from the Thai tea - softest bobas I ever had... with no flavor (was a tad bitter) No issues with service or anything else. I love City Donuts so much, and Reedley is so extremely fortunate to have them. There are not many places that serve boba outside of the immediate vicinities of Fresno, Clovis, and Visalia - and this little shop hits the spot! My friends and I regularly stop by for a delicious boba tea and the occasional donut. I have never been disappointed here - the service is always prompt and friendly, and the boba and donuts are an absolute treat. City Donuts is a little cramped and usually bustling with activity, so I'd recommend taking your food and drinks to go if you're looking for a quiet spot. If you don't mind the noise, there is WiFi (password changes from time to time, but I remember it is posted near the eating area) and bench seating. The variety of boba drinks at City Donuts is not like it is in other, larger places (there's about 6-10 flavors to choose from, I believe) but it's great for a small town! This small mom and pop to-go place is great! They've been pretty busy lately especially after adding Pad Thai to the menu. I love getting the shrimp cocktail (if they're not out). When I first heard that City Doughnuts was serving Pad Thai, I really wanted to try it. You have to pre-order it because it takes about 20 minutes to make. You can order beef, chicken or shrimp Pad Thai. I ordered the chicken Pad Thai and on the side it comes with hot oil, chopped peanuts and lemon slices. The chicken Pad Thai was delicious. I love this place! The croissant sandwiches are delicious. I always get the ham and bacon toasted. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It's a good price for what you get, too. They also have smoothies, tea drinks, burgers, bagel sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, hot dogs and French fries. They also have chips, a soda fountain and bottled drinks to go with your order. Oh, and an assortment of donuts and pastries. And coffee. But it was lunchtime so the little place (4 tables total) was full of people eating lunch. It's so easy to forget it's a donut shop! What a gem that sells the popular items you would find more commonly at in a larger metropolitan town or city. The breakfast and lunch sandwiches are delicious and at a very good value! They have boba tea here, thai tea, pad thai, chow mein, Vietnamese spring rolls and even pho!! that's right, the only pho you can find in rural Reedley! nearest pho spot would be at least 30 minutes away in Fresno or Visalia. From the outside it looks like they sale only donuts, but they have some really good sandwich selections and very affordable. They have 4 long tables inside. I ordered a large pastrami croissant sandwich combo with fries and drink. It came with lettuce, avocado, jalapeños, cheese and sprouts. A real fulfilling treat. The food is a solid 4 since it's nothing out of the ordinary, but I rated a 5 because the owner was very nice. All of this came out to only $8.95. Terrible boba drinks. I had a Thai tea boba - there was absolutely no Thai tea flavor, it just tasted very sweet. The boba pearls were soft and mushy, obviously badly cooked. My nephew had a chocolate boba and the pearls were the same gross texture and while there was some semblance of chocolate taste, it was excruciatingly artificial and the drink texture was chalky.
