Fun atmosphere and the food was very good. My wine was served in a mug - that was fun!

Ordered the chips and queso the chips were good the queso and salsa lacked flavor. Both the salsa and queso lacked texture. Ordered a bltc with fries. Bacon was cooked perfect, but the bread was very soggy which made it hard to handle without it falling apart. The wait staff was the best part of the night, friendly and on point. We visit City Limits almost weekly. The food is great and the service is impeccable. We dine at a variety of all types of restaurants and can honestly say the staff here is hands down the best...so friendly and attentive but never pushy. Burgers are great. Diet plate is fantastic...the chicken breast is always cooked perfectly. Try the chicken quesadillas, they're awesome. Jalapeño strips are wonderful. One of our local favorites. The appetizers are awesome, and service is excellent. Our drinks are never empty for long! Fried jalapeno skins are our favorite appetizer. I'm very sensitive to spicy foods, and I can enjoy them with no problem. The Tacos are good; get them with chicken, steak, or turkey. I was not all that impressed with the fish tacos. Our favorite food item is not even on the menu. Steak Quesadillas! Just ask for them. I also really like the burgers. It's a great atmosphere for families, or just to visit with friends. It is a good restaurant I read great comments about good food, however also read about the services they provide; that you need to be alert because they will take advantage if you drink on your total bill; I have no problem I don't drink My and my friend we stop by for dinner, the service was OK, and however I didn't want to split the bill; they ask if I want to split the bill or split the price of the appetizer, I took the bill but they alter the total cost, don't showing the itemizes, typically when pay with the credit card, they give you two receipt or proof of payment one that is the copy that will include the gratuity tip, and the second itemize your consumption. All though I don't share everyone's enthusiasm on C L being a great steak house in Sherman, I will say there food is good. The best place to get a steak is The Texas Roadhouse. C L does have some of the coldest beer in town. On another note, there is no such thing as a certain beer going with a particular type of steak. All beers are good with any steak. It's not like paring a good wine with your food. Remember, when your in Sherman, your in Texas, Act like it. read more

Oh sweet heaven this place is sinfully delightful. Buttery toasted loaves called buns dripping inside with flavorful, greasy, cheesy, saucy, beef with whatever toppings you specified. Fries are great too, once you get the ketchup out of the bottle. After a visit be ready to crave their food for quite a while. read more

Absolutely amazing. All of the food was excellent!! If you're looking for a casual setting that offers delicious comfort food, please try this place!! The spicy chicken lettuce wraps, a 7 layer dip as an appetizer (usually something that you can only do at home or find pre-packaged in a grocery store), the NY Strip with a loaded baked potato, fantastic ranch, and I had some off menu cheeseburger enchiladas with grilled jalapeños on top that was absolutely ridiculous!!!!! Cant wait to go back to this place again! And the staff is just as good. We were in the area for a softball tournament, and this young lady who was helping us find a seat initially kind of kept popping in, making sure we were all good - super attentive and responsive. Well, after numerous short conversations and unsolicited advice (great advice by the way and great to hear coming from someone other than our daughters parents) for my young pitcher, we learned that this humble young lady was actually an all SEC pitcher for Ole Miss!! Her interaction with my daughter was an absolutely special moment for her. It took effort to bring her down. The personal experience was unexpected and left us with a feeling like we were meant to find City Limits. Love this place and love Mary Jane!! This is a great place for food, but no better place in the world if you want to support good people! read more

I'm new to the area, and this place was recommended by a local. I've eaten here twice, and both times was very impressed with food, and service! The food is great! The service is fast, and everyone was very polite! Both times the place was packed, but we didn't have to wait for a table, and were waited on right away. Wow! Fresh food, awesome service, great atmosphere. Fish and chips was great. BLTC was great. Queso with chili in it was SO good. I could have just eaten the chips by themselves they were so good. We usually go to Huck's on the way to Choctaw Casino and they were closed so we came here. I can't believe we have been missing this place all these years. we will for sure be back!! read more

The service is awesome! They are fast and friendly. My diet coke was full the entire meal and was given a to-go cup happily. I had the blt with no cheese, it was OK but the fries were really good. The worst place to eat in my opinion. Terrible service. Pretty sure my waitress was high out of her mind along with several others. I parked near the back entrance of the establishment and witnessed a drug deal including one of the employees. For a place that sells themselves as a family oriented I'll be sure to never bring my family here again! My food was wrong waited another 25 minutes and it was STILL wrong! Asked to speak to the manager and she was rude as well and not helpful or caring the slightest bit. I don't see how the health department hasn't shut this place down its just so gross. Not somewhere I recommend people to eat in Texoma area. There's far more sub par places to eat instead of here in the grease hole that they call a "restraunt" read more

I hate having to give a negative review, but we really really didn't like the food at City Limits. I ordered the rib eye dinner and have to say that the steak was probably the worst I have ever had. For the first time ever I had to salt a steak as there was absolutely no seasoning what-so-ever and as for the texture my son-in-law and I both thought it seemed weirdly/unpleasantly soggy.... like it had been quickly defrosted in a sink of hot water. I ended up bringing home more than half the steak. My other daughter and her husband were at the house when we got back and I told them they were welcome to the leftovers. They both commented on how horrible the steak was. My son-in-law ordered the fish and chips... meh...not so great. The only item we ordered that we thought was really good was the fried zucchini appetizer. I must say that the service was great and the serving staff were very friendly and warm. I would probably go back for drinks and appetizers, but not to order a full meal. read more

came here after a baseball game. horrible experience. the food was tasteless at best. ordered queso and got a tiny bowl of it. then ran out of chips and was told its 3 dollars to get a new basket. waitress took my lemonade to go get a refill then forgot to bring it back and when I reminded her of it she complained. never coming back. would not recommend. read more
