I love this salon. I have been going here for years. Always clean and personable. I would recommend always making an appointment they usually get you in same day!

Got a gel manicure by Jason and it's beautiful! Called at 12:30 and they were able to see me at 4:05. I asked about a design on my nail and he didn't really have time, but brought the materials over to do it anyways. I told him not to worry about it because my heart wasn't totally set on it. I also heard someone call in about a chipped nail and he told them to come right in. Very nice people and my nails look great!

I went to City Nails for the first time today, and I must say I am very satisfied. I got a full set w/ white nails and designs on my ring fingers. I really like that the acrylic is not too thick or too thin. Also, he got the length perfect. The only reason I gave this shop 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because I was there for at least 2 1/2 hours on a Monday! They were very accommodating though. They allowed me to find something on Netflix while I waited, and started my set in-between appointments. I will definitely make an appointment the next time. City Nails has a new regular:) UPDATE: So after having my nails on for only a week they began to lift. My thumb nail came completely off by day 10! I was really disappointed. I went to another nail shop closer to my home for a balance & repair. It's been over a week and my nails are still intact & it's looks like I might be able to get THREE weeks from this fill because they look they did when a left the shop. I City Nails I'm sure do a great job on gel nails & Pedi's but acrylic is clearly not their specialty. Well at least not the tech I went to.

Gel set, after 2 days. Was told my hair color was the cause of the dirt, but my hair is its natural color.

Ok service, but overall was not satisfied with my nails. I even went back 2 days after getting them done & was informed I would have to pay an extra $20 to get them fixed. Probably won't go back, prices doesn't equate for the quality of work that's done here.

They did such a good job, especially on my shellacs even though I bite my nails. The employees were polite and nice. I didn't have to wait at all, even on a Sunday. I wished my foot massage was a little longer, but the massage chairs to sit in for the pedicures were wonderful.

Great place with great prices. Didn't feel like I had to make small talk which was nice. Very nice hand massage at the end.

Check-in was easy. The place is BEAUTIFUL, and they have every nail color under the sun. I will definitely be back soon! Their prices were more than fair, and I was impressed by their work. The parking lot is plentiful, it's easy to find, and there's plenty of things to do nearby. You can pay with a card, but cash tips only!

I had a appt but she was 1/2 late with another client who did not have one. She was in such a hurry, not paying much attention and just started clipping my nails so short it was too late to speak up. They are so thick and big gaps by my cuticles. She asked me if I wanted a manicure and before I could answer, she told me I didn't need one and I agreed. I was so upset and crying , I told her I just wanted to pay and go home. She then told the person in charge that I just didn't want to pay the $10 for the manicure, which was far from the truth. Another person tried cleaning them up but it was useless. I've been to so many places and they were the best so I'm very sad I will never go back there.

I am a person with a disability. The people there have never failed to help me get in my seat comfortably or hold open the door for me when I ask. Joanne always listens to what I want, and while she might offer alternatives, she never pressures me. She really listens and it's fun to sit and talk to her and watch someone who is a magician at what she does. My nails have never been beautiful, as I am an artist and use my hands a lot. I decided to try gel nails and they are tough and durable and beautiful. I am so pleased. I am so happy to give them a high review. I encourage anyone who's looking for a place to try this nail salon. You won't be disappointed.

was very disappointed with my visit to this nail salon earlier today. As someone who recently moved…read moreto the Upper Arlington area, I was looking forward to finding a local salon I could return to regularly. I chose this location because it was conveniently just two minutes from my home, and I had hoped for a positive experience. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I hadn't had my nails done in a while and was excited to treat myself. I knew exactly what I wanted: short nails with a clear polish--nothing complicated. Upon entering, I was immediately told to "pick a color," even though I wasn't planning on choosing one. While I understand this may be part of their process, it felt rushed and impersonal. I'm naturally introverted and not confrontational, so I prefer to observe how service professionals treat quieter customers who may not always speak up. When I was called over, the technician abruptly asked, "Where's your colors?" I politely responded that I only wanted clear polish. She sighed in a way that made me feel as though my request wasn't worth her time. There was very little communication during the service, and aside from briefly confirming the shape I wanted (square), I wasn't asked any other preferences--such as whether I wanted my cuticles trimmed or if I would want sharp or round nails. She seemed disinterested and rushed through the appointment. The most uncomfortable part of the visit happened during the drying process. The OPI drying machine didn't turn on right away. After completing one hand, the technician abruptly switched to the other and, when the machine still didn't activate, she lifted it and, in a frustrated tone, said "This is how," while shoving her own hand inside to demonstrate. It was done in such a condescending and aggressive way that it left me feeling embarrassed and uncomfortable. When it came time to pay, I was shocked to be charged $70 for a basic set of short nails with no color or design. While I had expected something in the $40-$60 range, I still tipped $15 out of guilt and discomfort, though I now regret doing so. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience. The lack of customer service, the attitude of the staff, and the high price for a basic service all left a very negative impression. I will not be returning, and I would recommend others consider different salons in the area, especially if they value kindness and professionalism.
