You can tell that employees take a lot of pride, especially since they're dubbed co-owners. The tour included a walk through of how beer is made and a peek inside their facilities. I'm not new to beer, so I wasn't sure how much I'd learn; however, my interest was piqued when our tour guide started talking about how sustainable Deschutes' practices are. They even treat their own water! We had some tastes along the way. My only critique is that our tour felt long (~ 2 hours) and there weren't many spots to sit, so be prepared to be on your feet the entire time. My partner and I stopped by the tasting room after - we didn't buy any cans, but enjoyed sampling the latest party bombs on tap. I loved the frozen version too!
