    Decaf hot coffee
    Mallory S.

Great price and great location! My decaf drip coffer with almond milk was about 3 dollars and kept me warm and happy during my walk around West Side Market. The staff on hand is also very knowledgeable about coffee! I wish I had their talents!

While at the Westside Market, my boyfriend and I stopped here to get two cups of ambition while we toured the rest of the facility. The lady working the counter was nice and helpful. My drink was delicious, I ordered some sort of special cold latte made with almond milk. My boyfriend ordered a regular coffee and I tried a sip of his and it was good. Stop here before exploring the market.

GREAT place in the historic Westside Market in the Ohio city neighborhood, just outside of downtown Cleveland. The 8 ounce coffee is only $1.50. They make French crepes, similar to Paris street food.

Terrible cappuccino. Worst I've had in a long time.

Terrible cappuccino. Worst I've had in a long time. Service was not friendly or inviting. I stood there for over a minute before being greeted, and there was no one in line. I will definitely not be getting coffee from this establishment ever again.

Look at this aesthetic and most importantly - look at that selection!

Why doesn't this place have their own location? Why? I would live there! The coffee is lovely - I had the mocha as I wondered through West Side Market (I go there infrequently but even so you'd think I'd stop getting lost while trying to find particular stalls...but I had a coffee in hand so I can't complain). It was sweet but not too sweet, no additional sugar necessary! Their selection of coffee and tea is intense. They have the favorites and the basics and then a bunch of things you could try. Come here every day for a month and you still probably wouldn't go through their entire selection. Overall the coffee and the tea (have had a few before) is completely lovely. The people behind the bar are beyond pleasant. The aesthetic of the stall is awesome which makes me even more curious about what a coffee shop would look like. If you're at West Side Market, this is a mandatory place to stop!

I need a coffee! City Roast Coffee and Tea might not make an excellent Americano but it is just so conveniently located inside The West Side Market. Price is reasonable priced $2 for a single shot Americano. Lady was super friendly. The cup has built in sleeve so I can enjoy my hot beverage while walking around the Market.

    They do coffee art!!!

This is a coffee stand, first on the right as you enter the market from W25th. This was great local coffee made with good, basic technique and attention to correct detail. They also sell beans in either 1-pound or half-pound bags. When a barista makes latte with art on it, it might not necessarily reflect the quality of the beans or the brew, but it somehow shows that they care about what they do! That said, the beans are all freshly ground and quality of the espresso is excellent. Now strong coffee does not mean bitter or burned coffee, like Starbucks is frequently guilty of. They do it right over here. The latte (with heart art) that I had was delicious. On a trip to WSM, I'd probably stop here first, then leisurely stroll the market with that coffee or espresso drink in hand to set the pace of your beautiful day.

Average coffee. Horrible service. The baristas can't handle more than one order at a time and are very rude.

I had never had Yemeni coffee before so I asked the barista for suggestions. Based on the fact that I wanted to also try one of their beautiful milk cakes (like a tres leches), I opted for the Mufawar coffee since he said it was less sweet and a bestseller. It was served on an adorable bamboo tray, piping hot and very strong! It had a unique flavor and paired well with my saffron milk cake. Yes...I said saffron. I was very hesitant to try this after he described saffron to me, so I actually got both saffron and biscoff milk cakes. Wow, this man knew his stuff! The saffron milk cake was absolutely scrumptious!!! And who doesn't love a biscoff cookie?! I had to take that one to go. I hope to return to Cleveland soon so I can try the pistachio latte (a sweeter coffee) and possibly a different flavor of milk cake. The coffee shop was quite large, bright, and tastefully decorated with lots of gold accents. I loved my experience there!

I'm so glad she did, because it was delicious. It tasted like an actual PB&J sandwich, but still had a coffee-forward overall flavor; very hard to put into words, but definitely a winner. I tried both the Promised Land Latte (cinnamon and honey) and the seasonal special Cowboy Cold Brew (cold brew with milk and sarsaparilla syrup). The Promised Land Latte was good, not too sweet, a little thin on the mouthfeel but overall good flavor. The Cowboy Cold Brew was such a treat: a combination I have never tried, but it worked surprisingly well. It was like a root beer and a cold brew were mixed together for a refreshing drink with very familiar yet unique flavor. There was still quite a bit of stuff in the desserts case though! There is a minimum $5 purchase for credit cards so I paid in cash.
