There was one person at the counter And 4 people in the kitchen. There was one other party in the restaurant. The lady behind the counter was on the phone explaining the menu items to someone. After several minutes I decided to use the Kiosk, but it didn't work. So I waited several more minutes till she completed the phone order. I was expecting a light hearted 'sorry that took so long', but instead she excused herself and went to the kitchen. After 2-3 more minutes, she came back to the counter and took our order. After that she left out the takeout door and never returned. We ordered pizza, which was delivered promptly and hot. The food quality was good, but we had to go to the kitchen to get utensils, and when we were leaving had to go to the counter and get our own to go box. This was Sunday afternoon about 3:30. Obviously the shift is in need of a good manager to teach customer service. read more

we ordered two sandwiches and pizza it was all so fresh and delicious. Tge order was on time and correct! The kids loved the sandwiches, but the star for me was the supreme pizza. Hands down, it was one of the best supreme pizzas I've ever eaten. It had lots of bell pepper and red onion and the ingredients were so fresh! The Margherita pizza was awesome, too. My Bible Study group of about 12 came at lunchtime. The service was great and the food was delicious and 'pretty'...I had the Jalapeño dressing salad. We walked in and placed a to go order at 12:34pm today. There were hardly any people in there and it took them until 1:23 pm to get the order ready. I even asked about it at 1:05 and gave them my name. I think the order was lost and found way too late. There was no I sorry it took so long or anything. This is just not acceptable. read more

Standard Newk's experience! The restaurant is clean, the food is great, and I always walk away satisfied. My personal favorite item is the chicken caesar salad. Its large and delicious, my only complaint is that it does become a semi expensive salad when you add the chicken, but they give you a lot of it, so its worth it. Check them out! read more

I was unable to place my order on DoorDash pick-up because their website is out of date. My husband wanted the pasta salad and this was not an option, so I had to go in. This already sets me off a little bit, I would rather run through my errands and go home. Inside, the cashier at the counter seemed a little confused when I initially placed my order, another employee had to come and show her where things were on the computer. When my order was ready a cook from the back was wandering around the dining area, shouting the wrong name. It was my order, learned after watching her run around the dining room several times looking for Britney. I ordered a turkey, avocado, and Swiss sandwich for my husband and a turkey, avocado, and cheddar for myself. When I got home, I learned that neither sandwich had either avocado or cheese. The lettuce on my sandwich was wilted and had soaked the bread in the most disagreeable way. My husband's sandwich was ok, except for the missing components. The pasta salads were good but seemed to be sitting around a bit. My side was a fruit cup, which was ok, but the canteloupe and honeydew could have been slightly better trimmed of their peels. I gave it five stars the last time we ate here and was really happy. This trip is a disappointment, I will probably give them another chance but not for a while. read more

They prepare the food without gloves (I'm a prior worker) just wanted to let y'all know! This is their food preparation staff. In this picture , he's preparing the meat that goes on the customers sandwiches, without gloves. I notified the manager multiple times and nothing was done. Oh also examine your silverware the next time y'all are there! They defiantly leave leftovers on them. read more

I have eaten at Newks several times and it has always been good. Yesterday the service was very slow and the food was not good. I had the Newk q the chicken looked and tasted like it had been in a warmer way too long. It was dry and didn't have much flavor. read more

Great food. We ordered soup and when it was served we asked for breadsticks. When the server came crack wit a pizza we asked for breadsticks again. We finally went to the cashier and got breadsticks. If the server can't bring these with the soup or bring them when asked, you may need to put them back out for self serve. read more

Greetings could have been better. Once we ordered our food we went to get drinks and a worker cut us off so he could get his drink in a hurry, he didn't even say excuse me. Then it took over an hour to get our food. They came and told us that what our child had ordered that they no longer had meat for it and asked what she wanted instead. We wait and wait, a server asked three different times if we have gotten our food yet (clearly there is no food on our table with three people). They finally bring out adult plates and said our child's food would be a little longer. Another servers stops by and ask if we have gotten her food yet and I say no..... I'm watching from our table as the crew could care less and doing more chatting and leaning across the counters to chat with each other. I go up to the counter and ask how much longer will it be, they then asked what she order as her replacement even they knew what it was as I was with her when told 3 employees the sandwich she wanted. Seems like the employees don't know how to communicate or work together as a team to get stuff done. The bathrooms were also not clean and had no toilet paper. This visit was the second visit, wasn't impressed the first time either. The first time we visited they were out of a lot of food and bathrooms were dirty with no toilet paper. We will not be back for a while and will check for updated reviews before coming back to waste another $50 on this establishment, I expect better service when spending that amount to eat.
