Food, views atmosphere very good. Would highly recommend Cityview rooftop!! Was there for the 4th of July also. What a great experience!

The wife and I have been to Cityview 4 times in the last 6 weeks. We try to go every weekend. The food is really good, the service has always been impeccable and the staff is amazingly friendly. Yesterday we stopped in for some food and drink and we saw that they were setting up tables for an event. It looked beautiful. We were told that they were closed due to the event so the wife went to use the restroom before we left. While waiting, I started talking to a very friendly guy named Joe about the Knicks. Funny enough, he turned out to be the owner. When the wife came out, I asked if we could just have one drink at the bar since we came all the way out there, and Joe told the bartender "Let these two sit and order some drinks". We sat, drank, and talked to the owner about business and life in general and it was one of the most pleasant times we've had at a bar in years. We are fans of Cityview (and Joe) for life. read more

We got stranded in New York due to a flight cancellation and ended up at the Voco Fiorello hotel. This restaurant sits on the roof and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! We tried mostly appetizer dishes and they were all on point. My favorite dish flavor wise were the truffle fries. The most unique dish to me was the potato skin pizza. I had never had it and definitely didn't expect it to be scooped out potato on the top so yummy! The fries were pretty good too. Between the location convenience and the food quality I'd definitely recommend this place! It is a little more pricey than I'd expect but isn't every rooftop! read more

I had the chance to visit for a party. The space is on the rooftop, but there was only 1 working elevator. Learned my lesson going up, so I left slightly before everyone to ensure a quick ride back to the lobby. The views are insane. On one side it's the Whitestone Bridge, the other side of the rooftop has Manhattan skyline views. The workers were all attentive and working hard. I didn't place a food order but the food looked good and ppl were definitely noshing. read more

The food here is decent solid enough for lunch, especially if you're bringing friends in from out of town. As for the view: yes, you can see the city. Is it the most impressive view of the skyline? No. But that's not where this place really shines. What truly sells City View Rooftop is the space. It's incredible. You could easily host a full on graduation party, baby shower, or just about any event you can think of THEN add that you can see the Manhattan skyline. The indoor outdoor layout is beautiful and works perfectly for summer, spring, or even a crisp fall day. The sound system is great, and there are seven or eight screens along the wall showing different visuals, which adds to the vibe. Service was excellent throughout our visit. And finally let's talk Shirley Temples. As a self proclaimed Shirley Temple connoisseur, I can confidently say theirs were chef's kiss. read more

City view rooftop is such a beautiful space. It's really really large grateful parties. I cannot wait for the summertime rooftop parties. This is when is really gonna hit even like just having weddings up their birthdays baby shower is a really really dope place. The bartenders was cute at least one of them. The drinks were really good. I enjoy them a lot when I was there. There was a DJ created a nice vibe. I love it. The food overall was decent. It wasn't my favorite. This view is amazing. The servers were very nice. Went for a night event and the food was inedible. We ordered shrimp and fries and it tasted spoiled, replaced with chicken wings with sweet chili sauce. No good. Walking around the event there were a number of plates that looked like they were not finished. Perhaps the regular kitchen staff was not there for this event but I see others have rated the food differently. Perhaps it was an off night. I'll see if I go again if that changes. read more

We had our wedding at the rooftop on 6/13. Shoutout Joe & Susanne for being communicative every step of the way. Joe (owner) has a tremendous experience in cooking and catering and helped us craft the perfect menu. The food was lovely, but the real star of the show was the space and views. My guests were blown away by all of it, especially the unbelievable sunset. We all enjoyed having access to the indoor and outdoor areas for the duration of the event as well.The wedding was my dream day and I couldn't imagine having it anywhere else! Food was really good, as was the service.. it was a great time... but the mgr was a real tool.. they were slow the night we were there, & it's no wonder, get rid of the skinny white tool you have as a mgr, & your Business will triple. This mgr, was obnoxious , rude, & annoying. The young man who waited on us is becoming a pilot, & he was so kind. I'll definitely go back, but the owners need to get rid of that mgr!!! We attended a christening celebration at City View Restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The views are absolutely amazing--between the Manhattan skyline, planes taking off from LaGuardia, and the Whitestone Bridge, there was always something beautiful to look at. It's hard to think why one might find oneself here other than for its proximity to la guardia but if you find yourself here you are in for a treat. The most pleasant staff. The bar food is fine. If you stay at the hotel you will get a good breakfast IF they fix keeping the food warm. read more

The best thing is the view & outdoor space & the place has a lot of potential. The service was ok-had to wait awhile for someone to come over. The watermelon cocktails were disappointing & tasted more like lime juice & sent them back My friend ordered the peach drink which actually looked & tasted more like watermelon. The wings & mozzarella sticks were delicious & would definitely recommend. The absolute downside to this place is the parking. The fact that you have to pay after you've been in the restaurant and spent over $100 is disgusting. To top it off I ended up getting into an argument with the attendant who called me an f'in idiot because their credit card thing wasn't working properly.
