Always a fun place to grab cocktails at in Flushing. I would say this is probably my go to speakeasy to meet up with friends. Celebrated my nephew's 21st bday with amazing drinks. Love the Rosalita. Service was attentive. The waiter even helped us take some group snaps to commemorate with occasion. The decor is intimate. So lucky we got the last booth!

I was hyped to come to this speakeasy bar, I heard great things about this place. However, when entering it was really cool decor, walked up the stairs, host explained that there isn't any two person tables at this time, I saw one corner of my eye and asked how about that one, the host explained that it was reserved for 3 ppl, ok Ill wait for a table, I explained I'll be at the bar, let us know when one is available. I saw three tables right of the bar, so I asked the host can we sit there, he explained again that was for 3 or more ppl. After going back and forth about a booth, because we did see other booths with 2 ppl that was for "3 or more ppl". He sat us near the big window. After being seated, same host James I believe sat two ppl at the 3 person booth in front of us. Like seriously, I was already turned off by this. I almost left but my lady convinced me to stay. Food: We got a dozen of oysters, short rib and bone marrow and the Waygu beef burger. Food was great hands down. Drinks at the bar: Bartenders seemed too busy on their phones and didn't really notice us sitting down until I called them over. I had an old fashioned but didn't realize they had their on spin on an old fashioned which I would have tried if the bartender mentioned it. Oh well. Waitress: May was excellent, she super friendly, attentive and very nice. Overall, I was pretty displeased with the host, kind of ruined the hype of this bar. Food and drinks were really good. Customer service needs some adjustments. If you gonna tell people that booths are 3+ ppl don't turn around and seat 2 ppl there. (Almost seemed a bit racist to me as we didn't appear Asian) but I don't want to think that was the case. Would I come back? I'm unsure about that, maybe for the burger and try another drink. But I'm not going out my way to come here.

4/5 given that it's in flushing but would be 3/5 if it was in Manhattan. Ambiance is nice but the decor is dusty and feels run down. Service is slightly lackluster but I came on a Tuesday ~5pm so I expect it would be different on a Friday / weekend. Food and drinks were good, solid 4-4.5/5.

Review solely based off two drinks but didn't try their food. Both drinks on point however for a full bar they were lacking some ingredients so took me two tries to order my first drink. Simple and common blended scotch such as Monkey Shoulder was out of stock at 5pm on a weekend. That's a bit perplexing to me and would be for any cocktail enthusiast. I gave a 4 star simply due to before mentioned drinks on point, great hospitality by hostess/server and vibes. The Attic is nonetheless a great spot for all Flushing locals.

This review is based off of one drink, but omg it was so strong and so tasty. This is a very cute, dimly lit bar. It was a perfect place for a late night double date. Our waitress so attentive, friendly, and accommodating. I would love to go back and try another drink and some food.

Being at The Attic was a unique experience. I was amazed by the decor against the wall that transported you to back in time. Even the drink menu came in a fitting leather booklet which fit the aesthetic. We had just missed happy hour on a Thursday evening which was from 4-7 pm. Upon sitting down the lights suddenly dimmed, isolating each table. We ordered the Gunpowder and Lucky Me (delicious and not too sweet!) Our drinks paired well with truffle fries. Note that the establishment is more of a bar with little bites. They do have 4 entrees offered if you're interested in having dinner.

I can only speak for the drinks. They were complex and delicious. My favorite was the Andean mojito with Zhumir. They are def nyc cocktail prices. The decor is cozy and elegant. I personally loved the mosaic stairs. It's darkish in there too. Service was attentive and quick and checking if you want to order more. For sure a cute spot for friends or a date.

This place has such an amazing speak easy vibe. The cocktails are delicious and there's a variety which is great! It's Ali's a very intimate spot so it's great for date night. The servers were very attentive and we didnt have to wait too long for anything. And the food though minimal was surprisingly good. If I'm in flushing and looking for a spot, I would definitely revisit

Nice cozy speakeasy in flushing! They have good selection of drinks and cheese platter to complement. The bartenders are also amazing! Shoutout to Luis and James!

Boujie cocktail menu but on a $$ side in downtown flushing. Not that many cocktail bars in Flushing so this place was just what we needed for a girl dinner. Their food menu is super limited. I'd come back if I need a spot to chat and sip on cocktails for hours.

Wanted to check out their happy hour oysters and grab a bite. Located on the second floor and entrance could be easily missed (or maybe I just missed it in a hurry). Service was great, I was there during a weeknight and was seated right away. There's a bar and decent amount of seating. Lots of drinks, small food menu and raw bar menu. The oysters have a happy hour special, they were out of the oyster shooter when I went. Decent oysters, great Wagyu burger, it was super juicy and filling. If you're not a fan of ketchup you should ask for ketchup on the side as there was a good layer of ketchup on my burger.

Awesome speakeasy Ish cocktail bar. I brought my coworkers here a few times for happy hour not only do they have happy hour drinks, but they also have happy hour oysters. I love the interior decor, especially the living room vintage style seating! Being in my Japanese highball phase, they had a great selection of Japanese whiskey. Server was very friendly. I would love to return to try some food!

5 stars for the ambiance and drinks. I'd say 3 stars for the food itself. Ambiance is quite nice as it feels very intimate. Great for a date night or to catch up with a few friends. For drinks, I got the ACA Cucumber and my boyfriend got the Oaxacanite. I didnt have high expectations but I really loved my drink! Super refreshing and to my surprise, quite strong but did not taste like it. My bf also enjoyed his and ended up getting another one. Onto the food, I wish the oysters were bigger. It's priced at almost 2 dollars a piece and I just felt that a lot of the pieces were not worth it. The truffles fries were perfect though -- perfectly crispy. Lastly, the clams were meaty and a good size. The chorizo was just a little stale and disappointing though and didn't really add to the dish. Next time, I'd probably just come for a drink and an appetizer and skip out on the oysters.

While the persimmon cake SEEMED to be made in house, it was very clear that everything off their food menu required minimal preparation (ie. for the dumplings, it was just har cow). I also thought their cocktails were okay, and out of the three we got, none stood out to me. I did enjoy their tea, however. But, it was also fairly expensive for what it was (~$50). I loved all of them, particularly the fruitier ones. As for snacks, we had this fried taro snack that had a crispy biscuit outer layer that was delicious. It was a bit of a sweet & savory mix, but not strong in either sweet or salty flavors. There was also this persimmon snack that was filled with nuts and other things. It was slightly sweet, very unique, and both paired well as a tea time snack. They're also open until 11:30pm! It was three oysters, similar to Crown Shy except I wasn't a huge fan of the flavoring here. The nigiri sauce didn't really elevate the flavor of the oysters much as they're already a slightly salty food and a soy sauce sort of just added more salt to it. I think a bit more kick was needed to enhance the flavor profile. The handroll set was pretty good, I liked the spicy tuna the best, then the salmon and then the yellowtail the least. In order, I'd probably give the spicy tuna a 9/10, salmon 8/10 and yellowtail 7/10. However, the tiramisu was fantastic, one of the best tiramisus I have had, creamy, good notes of coffee flavor and wasn't overly sweet. Our server was also very friendly, she showed us how to properly eat the handrolls which was nice. The place also has a nice vibe to it, very relaxing and not too loud or overly grand.

You can tell she genuinely cares about people having a good experience, and that kind of service is rare. Her gin and tonic was perfectly balanced -- crisp, refreshing, and honestly one of the best I've had. And the green tea shots? Dangerous in the best way possible. Smooth, flavorful, and way too easy to keep ordering because they go down so well. Joyce makes them with consistency and a little extra flair that makes the whole experience feel special. Food-wise, I highly recommend the pork dumplings -- flavorful, perfectly cooked, and the ideal pairing with drinks.
