James and his crew from Citywide were phenomenal to work with. We are so happy with our new front retaining walls, steps, pathways, and driveway. James is trustworthy, kind, generous, a problem solver (he doesn't even see things as problems), consistent, and always came through with what he said he would. Anything we asked for prior to the work he delivered on: references and addresses of past work sites, for example. He even brought us to two of his job sites so we could see some of the products he was using and how the work was being done. All members of the Citywide team that worked with us (a 3-5 man crew depending on the day) were absolutely amazing, true artisans. They took incredible pride in their work, and it shows. Every single day of the job they arrived on time, and they were always so respectful of our home. They worked diligently as a great team, and our very large project was started and completed in less than two weeks- and that included delays due to heavy rains! Every day the job site was left clean and orderly. We were out of town when they finished the work (and given the whole process til that point, we were completely confident all would come out amazing), and when we returned home not only did the stonework look incredible, but the yard was raked and leveled and looked better than it had in years! This was a big investment in our home, and we feel that the price we were quoted - and paid - was worth every penny for both the product and the process to make it happen. The quality of the work, and the experience working with James and the crew, was everything we could have hoped for, and more! to do some minor repairs and sealing of our asphalt driveway. My first meeting with City wide was very positive, but my good impression ended there. talked a good game and promised top-notch work. For this reason we were willing to accept his higher-than-average price as well as longer-than-average lead time. I often had a difficult time reaching citywide, he returned my calls late, rescheduled several times and once did so at the very last minute without any good reason. I trust that the materials used were excellent but the quality of the work could have been better. Our driveway was hardly edged, so the sealant did not reach the edges of the pavement. The surface was also not sufficiently cleaned and within just a few weeks the sealant was separating from the driveway surface is several locations where the asphalt surface had been dirty. The hot tar also detached from the driveway in several locations within the first few months of use. I've since corrected these locations on my own with driveway patch material. In case anyone is wondering, we waited an entire 3 days after the application to use the driveway. The material was most definitely dry. read more

I recently had CityWide replace my front steps and install a new driveway. James and his team were very attentive to our needs and very responsive, returning phone calls and texts promptly throughout the construction process. When they start a project they work dilligently to make sure they finish on time and and that the job is done well. They communicate with you throughout the process. We hired James and his team to install a paver patio in the backyard. He was professional and friendly, and we were very satisfied with the end result. James came to our home twice for consultations, helped us with design and materials choices, and helped us determine the layout of the patio. Although we booked him in May and expected a 5-6 week wait time before his team would be available, they were able to do the installation over the course of a weekend only a couple weeks after we booked Citywide. Mike and his crew did a great job paving my drive on 6/11/22 . He was easily accessible by phone and he returned all calls . He was very professional , polite and personal . He did a great job regrading and then asphalting my driveway and was a stickler for detail . I also had him grind and repoint my chimney and install a new clean out door which had rotted away and it came out excellent , neat and clean . His prices were very reasonable . Michael Connors was the ONLY person from any of the companies I contacted that took the time to explain in person and in detail, what needed to be done and how his men would complete the work. Excellent, experience with Citywide from first call to completion. All calls returned immediately and kept the agreed schedule. The crew rolled in at 7:30am ripped out the driveway, and back door entrance ... paved the whole bit including paving stones at the entrance, and were done by 12:30.
