When we walked in the door she should have said, hello I don't have anyone to help you but I could ask someone to call you. We looked a few sample books, but the young gal couldn't answer a question. As a business owner you should at least train your staff on the types of blinds and how to price them. IT isn't rocket science, to give a ball park figure on someone's measurements. I understand that the business would want to measure the window's themselves but at least someone could go to the price book, look at the on factor and price the blinds according to the customers sizes. We left and went somewhere else.

We chose light filtering shades so that the room remains lit with natural light while blocking the harsh sun rays. They complement our home beautifully and work wonderfully. Dreamhouse has a large selection of fabric to choose from. I also like how the casettes were all fabric wrapped. We had both motorized and manual shades installed. Both work great, but wish we could have splurge to have all the shades motorized. They were also kind enough to come out to fix some of our other roller shades that were installed by another company for our other home. Dreamhouse is topnotch and we would highly recommend them.

All 3 bids were roughly the same price, so we chose based on service, and Aaron/Dreamhouse was the best. He came and did the final measurements and was very upfront that it would take 4-6 weeks, realistically 6 weeks. He was right, it was a long 6 weeks, as we were excited to get the whole house done. Joaquin, the master installer and his son Joaquin Jr installed our blinds. Joaquin is a perfectionist, and works to make everything just right. The guys worked well together, and were very respectful and professional. Ask for Joaquin to install your blinds! We had a hiccup with one of the remote control blinds, the day after installation and Aaron came right out and adjusted it. Shout out to Sabrina for the great communication. I was in need for a set of horizontal blinds to replace a broken set. I asked the owner to come…read moreover and take a look to see what I needed and to measure the correct size. We have two windows in our front room and they are the same size and have the same, white, horizontal blinds. A few weeks later she called to say that they were in so I went to her store and picked them up. When I got home I opened the box to find that they were not the horizontal ones I had ordered but a set of vertical blinds. When I called her she said that since I had already picked them up (and pre-paid for them) that she would not accept me returning them. She said that there are "No returns on custom orders". I said that I didn't feel that it was my fault since she had come over and clearly saw what we had (two identical windows both with horizontal blinds). I wasn't asking for my money back I merely asked if I could return the incorrect blinds for the correct ones but she was adamant on not accepting them back. She said that I should give them to the Salvation Army and reorder the blinds again from her! This is not even the worst of it! When I told her the proper thing to do would be to let me trade them with her and for her to order me the correct (horizontal) blinds that I wanted in the first place. She actually said the following to me: "You can stick those blinds up your ass for all I care!" She then promptly hung up on me! I don't know what this lady's problem or mental ailment is but I would strongly recommend that you use anyone else but "Hues & Vues" I would suggest C&K Shutters as I have used them for other window-related products and I have never had a problem with them. I guess I should have used them for my interior blinds as well.

They were always on time and provided professional work. Ryan who is the owner of the company shows up and takes precision measurements. After the shades are delivered Antonia installs the shades with Ryan. After they were installed, Antonio was very patient in setting up the app on the cell and programming the remote control. The floor associate was very helpful in recommending different options and pricing and Setting up an appointment was easy. This shop gets busy this time of year so unfortunately I wasn't able to get them out to install the floor for another few weeks, that was the only downfall. I was required to leave half the cost upfront and the other half after completion of the installation. On the day of the set appointment, one guy came out and completed the job in under four hours. We were all satisfied with the results. The worker was on time and professional. I definitely will use Mesquite tile and flooring for any future tile and flooring projects.

I shopped around for about 4 quotes and what I found was that a lot of the companies offered…read moredifferent colors and percentages (80% or 90%) but at a higher cost. Some other companies didn't even have company estimate/quote form to give me and simply wrote on a lined piece of paper what the quote would be---outrageous! Branden is the owner of Precision Solar Screens and he was initially very responsive to my Yelp request for an initial visit and quote. He arrived on time and had company letter head with a breakdown of all his products from color of screens, color of hardware, color of frame, and screen percentages. He was thorough on all of his measurements and explained how he would carefully and safely execute installing the solar screen on the window above my awning. He would bring plywood to lay down on top of the awning and walk on the awning closest to where it meets the wall as that's where it has the most structural integrity and load bearing for weight. He made me feel very at ease as that was my biggest concern. He answered all my questions about his company, that he and his brother do all of the work and make sure they do it right the first time. All solar screens come with a 15 year warranty, as well. Once he quoted me on my solar screens, I told him I would get back with him. There was zero pressure on his end. I ended up talking to my next door neighbor about this interaction, his price and the quality of the products he talked about and she decided to install solar screens on her home by Branden, as well. Both myself and my neighbor contacted Branden back and he returned a day later to take measurements on my house and my neighbors house. This is very important to mention, because my neighbors house and my house are exactly the same with exactly the same sized windows, however, Branden is so professional that he wanted to make sure that the measurements were perfect and accurate to each window. I was very impressed. After he took measurements, half of the deposit was required and he advised both myself and my neighbor that it would be about 2 weeks for the screens to be made and then an appointment for installation would be made. Branden contacted me shortly after 2 weeks and advised me that he would be installing my solar screens on my windows the next day along with my neighbors windows. He arrived with his brother and they completed the installation without issue. As I thanked Branden, I told him I would be writing him a Yelp review and hoping that more people would flock to his small business. He told me that he just recently joined Yelp, hence why there are not many reviews. Please, please, please.....consider Branden and Precision Solar Screens for your next project.
