This isn't the place you go for the cheap stuff raised in warmer climates. Second is the service. They have helper booths, and you can throw anything at them and they either can answer or find someone who can answer. Confused about if a plant is the best for a shady spot or sunny spot - they can help. Finally, it's just a wonderful place to walk. Lots of native plants, lots of trees, and the spring selection of tomatoes and veggies is to die for. Yes, it's more expensive. Yes, worth it! And the added bonus is dogs are allowed.

We had taken out a number of trees in our yard and wanted a large tree that can be a focus for the…read morefront of the house. It was wonderful to be able to call Big Trees and set a time to see their trees. Daniel took us around and also helped us as we considered several types of trees. We determined that a Somerset Red Maple would be large enough and that it would be relatively easy on yard maintenance. The tour helped us decide that we really needed a tall (30' feet) to enjoy in the next few years. Big Trees was excellent at setting up a date and delivering the tree. It was amazing just to watch the equipment as they dug the hole and planted the tree (see pictures). Now we just need to follow their directions. Felix and the staff planting the tree were easy to work with. They helpled take down and reinstall part of our fence and they cleaned upt he site very well.

Not only was the selection and variety of trees fantastic, the professional advice we got from beginning to end of the process was on point and so helpful. From the initial visit being driven around the property on a golf cart to find the right tree, to the foreman's pre-planting visit, to the planting crew themselves, the entire experience was flawless. Everyone we encountered from BTT gave amazing service, had good humor, excellent communications, and took an above-and-beyond approach. They have plant carts to take around the gravel/dirt pathways (I recommend grabbing one as you will probably find something you can't live without). The vegetables were located all the way in the VERY back of the property. It has been very hot lately but quite a bit of the vegetable plants looked withered and not in great shape. The cashier is at the front of the property in a greenhouse type structure that is incredibly humid. Staff were helpful and polite. They had live ladybugs!
