I would not recommend these people whatsoever. I told the first guy exactly what I wanted. Said didn't have that but this other guy products are just as good. I thought about bought it, it went back another guy was working I told him that I was trying the product the guy the day before recommended the day before and what he thought, but to bad you all don't have it old him what I prefer he said but we do have that. I bought the product I wanted in the first place brought back the unopened unused products the owner was there this time ( he's a fucking dick said they would take the product back but would have to charge me. I said I spent 60 on it and now I'm buying $300.00 and you're still gonna charge me. He shoved the product I was returning and said I'm not taking it back I then said then I'm not buying this . He immediately realized his mistake tried to be real nice from then on, I said fuck you I not spending another dollar here and left. Unknowledgeable sales staff and deceitful practices and an owner that knows not the customer is always right. Be growing since 1976 I think I know what I prefer. I go here for all the parts I need for starting my seeds in the winter. They have good deals on the T5 lights and the racks to hold me inches over the baby tomatoes, spinach, etc... And they are super nice too!!! read more

The gentlemen at the register was friendly but l won't come here again, and you shouldn't either. I called before I came and got a price on some specific buckets. I show up in the store, there are 2 employees and only 2 customers. I get no hello, how can I help you, etc. I spend about 5 minutes in the bucket section where nothing has prices, grab what I need and head to the register. I waited behind the two other customers checking out, who either knew the employees or were just being treated very well and friendly (women). When the nice guy at the register tells me the price I look surprised and explained I called ahead, as well as received no help, as well as just waited behind everyone else while no one acknowledged me. In such an ignorant way a man James introduces himself as the assistant manager and asks how I'm doing (as a smart ass because I specifically said no one acknowledged me). He offers no solution or apology for me driving out of my way to get this product and that I was incorrectly quoted. Doesn't matter if I'm standing in line today to spend $10 or $10,000, and it shouldn't matter if I'm a female but apparently here it does. The service here specifically from James is bad enough to have me never come back and leave this wonderful review. There are too many great local shops nearby, full of knowledgeable friendly people who actually want to help you and care about growing (not just $$$)! read more

Rob's inventory is reasonably priced (on par with Amazon and often cheaper) and either he or can explain exactly how to set up your growing area if you have any questions at all.
