Their staff seems young, inexperienced, and the ball has been dropped many times. Be prepared to go around and around with issues you have that won't be addressed. We received hundreds of automated emails in the spring/summer about nonsense but the important ones are sent one time and you gotta find them in the mix of everything. So far I'm not satisfied with the school. CAP coaches aren't familiar with VA certification and only certified my daughter for 11 of the 12 credits and now she won't get the full benefit amount. I communicated with the cap coach many times and now we are being penalized because the assist director to student accounts says that the cap coaches are not trained in VA affairs. WTF?!!! Those I've reached out to don't seem to care and so I don't buy into their "be known" mission statement because to be known is to be valued as a person. Also be aware that a 3.0 student in an easy degree will be award the same as a 4.0 student in a harder degree such as nursing or engineering because well the easy degrees also need to award money and the bar is lower for the achievers in this group is what I was told. What a slap in the face to get the same amount.

There is plenty of U of O signage that let you know they are coming soon. This is sure to transform the community prayerfully in a positive way. The community is expecting soon of the opening of the campus we're imagining fall 2023, 2024. I'll keep you posted on there progress.

This complex merges parts of 3 historic buildings: the Bickel Block, the Skidmore Block, and the White Stag and Hirsch-Weiss. There's a lot of history within, around, and underneath. I recently wandered around (and hung out) at this lovingly restored complex, and I can confirm that this place is all that it's quacked up to be! It "almost" makes me wish that I went to school here. The Mother Ship campus in 110 miles south in Eugene, so this place is the real deal for Rose City Residents that want a first class education at a world class University. And so says this proud alum from the University of Iowa (Go Hawks!), Texas A&M (Gig Em Aggies!), and UC Berkeley (Go Bears!).

I showed up excited for football, about football and in love with football, I left that camp totally disinterested in football. I never could quite get back into it either. You could almost say my experience there ruined football for me. Correction, that camp coupled with being a Bears fan ruined football for me. Now, some serious positive notes, they were very well organized. The actual players from their football team seemed like decent guys (the little I interacted with them). Their kitchen staff was awesome. I can recall having some of the best and biggest meals of my life in that place. All-in-all, I can honestly say that even with everything I said up-fromt, there were a few genuinely good experiences, which is why this review is not as bad as it could be. What I look back in with joy was great. Also, the campus is quite lovely, out of the way, with acres up In acres of very lovely country.

Check their site. Park whenever there are openings. Walk around and take in the sights. There are multiple little trails that take you into the woods or just stay on the main park and see the buildings. If you get a chance, drive it wander around the neighborhoods for some truly magnificent houses and contemporary homes. They are nice.

At the Mark O.Hatfield Library main desk, staff will issue to area residents a "community borrower's card" for a yearly fee of $50. To access the campus, I always park in the visitors' lot on the east side of Winter St., close to the intersection with Pringle Parkway. The signage is confusing: parking is free for casual drop-ins only on weekends. For those from away, walk NE from the visitors' parking until you see the fountain. There is found an excellent map and you can orient yourself. The Martha Springer Botanical Garden is a few minutes' walk from the library and worth a visit. It does not show on the online map. It is the green strip north of the Sparks Center, on the south bank of the Mill Race.

I was never a student here, but I have utilized the beautiful surroundings for many reasons over the years from shooting The Wife and my engagement photos to visiting a great friend who works here to attending the graduation of aforementioned friend. Occasionally even just to watch over the Beaver Pond. Reed never fails to impress. The grounds, the buildings, the general overall feeling of the place just oozes academia. The impressive thing is that this is a private college and they could easily be selfish and chase interlopers off the property or have heavy handed security demanding to see student ID or visitor badges, but they don't. It's like they want to share this place with all of the area. Reed College understands that it is an important part of Portland and they embrace that.

I've gone to Oregon Tech at Wilsonville and Beaverton before they moved. They are set up for the…read moreworking class. Many night classes to obtain your undergraduate or graduate degree. Coming from the tech side, they push the boundaries in a lot of areas. They are now moving to become more of a R&D school and can't wait to see where that goes. The instructors have real world experience and prepare you to hit the ground running, as long as you put the work in. Overall I really enjoyed my time here and proud to put them on my resume.

This review is for the staff in the Science & Engineering building and for the viewing of the…read morecorpse flower. We came a few days after the 24-48 hour blooming time, but we were still able to view the flower and take pictures. We came in on a Monday around 1pm. School is out for summer break, so there wasn't much going on at the campus. A few employees in the Science & Engineering building were super nice and gave us directions to get to the corpse flower. It's located in the basement, so once you enter the front of the building off the parking lot, you go down two flights of stairs to the basement. The viewing area is small, but they let you get pretty close to the flower. There was still a dead smell in the area where the flower was. They have a live web cam on their website so you can see what stage the flower is in and how busy the viewing area is. Overall, we enjoyed our visit here. Would recommend.
