We chose this quartzite named Vitratto
    Mehgan H.

First of all, Jose is hands down the most excellent sales representative I have ever worked with - Seriously, I mean ever. From the moment Jose met my Fiance and I he was attentive to every detail and made fantastic suggestions. We chose three gorgeous quartzite slabs (they have SO many choices) and ended up needing a fourth and Jose was extremely responsive. Both times he had my slabs shipped out to the fabricator so quick that it even surprised them! I recommend checking this place out because it is huge and the selection is enormous. Most importantly, if you decide to purchase, make sure you ask for Jose! Kindly, Mehgan

Do you know how you found a GREAT place, and you rave about it - until you stumble upon an ever greater place? You could say that about Marble of the World. Taking nothing away from the other places we've visited, Marble of the World has them beat because: They give you prices before you leave the showroom, so you really have a sense of how many square feet you need (bring your measurements and they'll help convert to square feet - for things like backsplashes, etc.) and the cost of using a particular stone/tile. They have a clearance area both in their building and online. They offer granite, quartzite, onyx, marble, and more - so it's a way to get a usually pricy table top at a great price, if all you need is a piece of a slab. (Clearance slabs typically have cracks or damage on a section of the piece.) They are hospitable. They ply you with bagels, pretzels, freshly made chocolate chip cookies, coffees, and waters while you wait for a rep to escort you around the showroom and slab area. So, of course we found slabs we love more than the ones we found at another place. And of course they are quartzite, more expensive than granite. And I saw tile for the shower stall I'm crazy for but it's on backorder until Europe is finished with it's annual August siesta. So either my fabricator finds another source for the 35" x 71" tile that looks like polished travertine or our bathroom renovations will be delayed. But they say good things come to those who wait - likely by people who have to wait. So if you want to see exotic and beautiful wonders of nature in the form of stone and tile you should visit Marble of the World. And if you like to be treated like family, from the snacks to the personal service, you'll love it here!

Not your average home improvement store! On entry you are greeted by a receptionist. In what could feel like an office setting, the desk is front and center with very friendly person to greet. She offered to get assistance and told us about the "cafe". To her left was a cozy looking living room style seating area. We wanted to look so proceeded onto the showroom area. This was beautifully laid out in isles with vertical displays featuring many choices. This was not just your average tile but many unique options. I saw materials I never imaged in this format. Of course there were no prices and I know I should have been afraid to ask in some cases. There was no pressure and we were not approach until the very end. As we were heading toward the door, we passed through the "cafe" area. The carnival style popcorn cart caught my eye first and if it had been later in the day, I know I would have indulged. The many other choices were appealing if only we hadn't just had breakfast. If you are looking for an "upscale" shopping experience, this is the place to go!

Wow! Upon entering I confess I was impressed. There is a pleasant, friendly, well mannered front receptionist, a computer sign in, donuts, coffee and jelly rolls to have while you wait; if you have to wait for a consultant/representative. They have all kinds of various marbles, granites and other stone, many of which they custom cut on premises. It's the kind of place that immediately gets your confidence with its well mannered staff and picture perfect large wall displays of inventory.

Horrible customer service. The sales woman was condescending and plain rude. Not profession in the slightest.

WARNING BEWARE We…read morepurchase 2 slabs of Granite for $1,701.32. For the first 3 days after installation it was dirty and full of rock granules. I just thought it was not cleaned well after installation so I looked it up and found that these are symptoms of INFERIOR QUALITY STONE. Now weeks later it still continues. Geovana who sold us the granite came out to the home and wiped a small tiny area clean and said instantly with a bad attitude there is nothing wrong with it, it just needs to be sealed. I explained that the information we looked up said sealing will not stop the issue. I asked her to make us happy customers and seal it for us and she refused. We then paid for it to be sealed for almost $300 and it did not work just like every article says. My contractor tried to speak with her because he was at my home for several days and he saw what was going on but she told him I am just trying to get a free countertop. She told him I spread something on the counter to make it dirty. We purchased from their Boynton store not the main location. I looked them up on sunbiz.org and it's registered to the Pompano store. I thought I would try to speak to the owner at that location to get some help. When Cynthia answered the phone I told her I was having trouble with the manager at the Boynton store so can I please speak to the owner. She insisted I call the Boynton store and talk to Geovana. I explained Geovana was the problem 3 times. She took my number and said the owners daughter would call me. 3 minutes later Geovana calls me yelling, screaming, threatening, cursing. She called me a liar and said I just want a free counter and she never heard of such a thing as we are experiencing. After 9 minutes of her threatening me cursing screaming and yelling she said she would refund our money but karma is a b**ch and will come back to get you and slammed the phone down. If you Google why is my new granite counter always dirty you will see link after link after link saying the same thing it's DUE TO POOR QUALITY GRANITE, AN ISSUE THAT CANNOT BE SOLVED WITHOUT REPLACEMENT. SEALING IT WILL NOT HELP. That means ripping off the backsplash which will destroy the sheetrock, removing the sink, plumbing, electric and hauling away 1500lbs of granite then reconnect everything and buying new stone having it fabricated again and so on. No one is going to do this for free. My contractor gave me a proposal to do all of this for just over $5000.00. That's after the entire kitchen renovation for $25,000.00 was spent already. After I got off that call Geovana called my contractor yelling and screaming at him that he's in on it and he's coaching me on what to say. Since I thought Geovana was only involved with the Boynton store I tried again to call the Pompano store 4 days later and Cynthia answered again. I asked her why would you call Geovana when I told you Geovana was the problem, she put me on hold and wouldn't you know it Geovana is back on the phone. So it turns out she's the owners wife. She began yelling and threatening to sue me and said I wouldn't get a penny back. So much for the refund she said we would get. So my contractor will re-do everything mentioned above for over $5000.00, we need new granite for $1,700.00 after spending $25,000.0 0. THE ENTIRE JOB IS RUINED BECAUSE OF THEIR INFERIOR QUALITY PRODUCTS. Geovana also told my contractor if we dispute the charge on our credit card she will put a lean on the home.

We saw places with their stone slabs laid out in poorly lit, tightly packed warehouses. We saw slabs outdoors, in the hot Florida sun. At Br Stone, all merchandise is neatly organized in wide rows, in a well-lit air conditioned warehouse. They have a beautiful selection of countertops, with fair pricing. Their salespeople are knowledgeable and respond quickly to questions. Eula has been helping us most of the time, but when we walked in, a number of times, without an appointment, if she was not there, whoever was available, made it their business to be as helpful as can be. After comparing their selection and pricing to others, we are happy to say, their countertops will now be ours, gracing our home with their beauty.
