We went in on Saturday night ordered 4ounce tasters of everything they had. There were about 4 really good ones, which were Raspberry Amber, Dark Belgian, Cream Ale and IPA. The building was nice and clean, the bartender was helpful. We will be back!

This place was my favorite brewery in Boise! I came here on a Sunday afternoon and tasted nearly every beer they had. Every beer is crafted well. My personal favorites are the brown ale, koffee kolsch, and passion fruit Pilsner. Everything is reasonably priced and tastes excellent. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. I make it a point to come here every time I'm in town.

Dogs!

Fun little North end gem tucked away on 28th Street. Easy to get to with convenient street parking. Inside it has a kind of industrial vibe. I think it was a garage at one time? The roll-up door are still there so it would be a great place in the summer. Dogs are allowed inside, always a plus in my book, and a food truck in the parking lot (Raman Sho on a Thursday - yummm). Now to the really good stuff, the beer and service are both excellent! I had the oaked Russian imperial stout. Dark, delicious & smooth. The oak finish cut that bite you get in the aftertaste of some Russian imperial stouts. The staff was friendly, funny, knowledgeable and gave us great service with smiles all around. The only ding, which wasn't enough for me to remove a star, is the sun shines bright through the South side windows, so at some point you may have to move tables or your group may get really tight sitting on one side of the table.

Best beer in town with 20oz pours!!

The wife and I first visited Clairvoyant during their soft opening in October of 2017 and this has been our spot since then. The craft beer is on point, the staff is super friendly and fun and the place is very clean and very well run. It is kid and dog friendly and there is often food trucks and live music. I love that their beers don't have fancy names that you have to remember and they are all $5 20oz pours!! Most other breweries start at $6 for 16oz pours....Oh yeah and the Goldfish are on the house!

The waitress was fantastic, very friendly and attentive but not overly so. I was just there for a drink, and there were a few beers that I was interested in, so I got a flight of the Red Velvet Cream Ale, Snowboarder Porter, Black Cliffs Stout, and Dark Daisy Chocolate Milk Stout. If it wasn't obvious, I am usually partial to dark beers, but the red velvet cream ale was actually my favourite out of this bunch - it was really interesting and had a smooth flavour that I liked. I think the porter and stouts were also good beers, but they were all awfully hoppy for dark beers, which just isn't my thing - to be fair, the Black Cliffs advertised itself as hoppy and I was just curious to try it, the other two did not. I just like to try different things though, so I had a good experience even if the beers didn't hit quite like I had hoped.

This place was absolutely amazing, from the outside drinking areas to the bathrooms. A couple of my friends showed up first, got a great table outside and ordered a couple apps to get the party started. I showed up after goodies and drinks were ordered. We started off with some chips and salsa and pountine. The chips and salsa looked good but the pountine was definitely calling my name! I love me some potatoes and these potatoes looked like they were going to be right up my alley! I dished up a good portion before my friends got some. They were kind to let me plate first cause of my new kidney. I didn't want to be too greedy so the portion I got was a few bites. Those few bites got me hooked so it was a must to get another order started. While my order of pountine was being worked on, I tried the pretzel with cheese and the hummus plate. The pretzel was perfectly salted. The cheese sauce was the perfect addition to the soft pretzel. I took a good amount of the hummus and Greek salad. The pita that came with it was a great vessel for the hummus. It was crispy with a slight chew to it. The hummus was clean tasting and rich. The Greek salad was so fresh. All the components of the salad tasted like they were just picked from the garden. You literally can't get anymore farm to table than that! It was so fresh! The second order of pountine came out. Everything about this appetizer was delicious! I love soggy, softer fries and these fries were the business! The gravy and cheese were the highlight of the dish for me. You can never go wrong with potatoes, cheese and gravy! There was a good amount of meat on the pountine. It was so tender! You can tell it was cooked with a lot of love and time! I took the rest home and I plan on hiding my box in the back of my fridge so my daughter can't get to it! We ended our happy hour with the beignets. Each one of these goodies were covered in powered sugar. The caramel sauce that was paired with it was devine! In all honesty, as full as I was, I could have polished off an order myself! They were the perfect dessert to end this fabulous meal. Bittercreek has been on my to go list for a hot minute. I'm so happy we got to come here and celebrate my birthday. The food was marvelous. Our server did a fantastic job taking care of us! Our waters were always filled. Our cocktails were never dry. And our plates were always filled cause food was always ordered on time for us. Homie was on point tonight! The venue can't be any more stunning. The weather was lovely. We were meant to be here today! In so happy we started my birthday week off at Bittercreek!

Now, the food. My friend went for one of their signature burgers, which was seasoned simply so the beef really gets to shine. The only hiccup was that they were out of tomatoes, which is a non-negotiable topping for her, so keep that in mind if tomatoes are a must. I went a different route and ordered the beef focaccia. Uniquely layered ribeye and really good. We also shared a Greek salad that was simple but fresh and satisfying. And the french fries with their homemade ketchup? Don't skip em. Service was smooth and friendly from start to finish. No complaints.

I don't know that I have ever given a brewery a 5 Star review...this makes sense!…read more I have been doing my little Fish & Chips search through Boise and I will have to say, this place is Hands Down the best yet that I have found! Now I have been here a few times and I like the place. The service is good, especially in the bar. The place is very open and has great light and fresh air which I always love. Add to that some great food and creative cocktails and you have a winner! They have a great Old Fashion that is a creation of one of the bartenders and I think is just a fantastic drink! Balanced flavor, a little sweet but not too sweet...with a nice bourbon finish to it! Now back to the Fish & Chips...I have had them twice now, with the same cocktail to chase them down. These are what Fish & Chips are meant to be. The batter is light with a great crunch, not heavily breaded but a light flavorful batter! Fries are good, home-made tartar sauce which always hits...and all the items you want with them...lemon, vinegar and for me mustard! I will be back, over and over again. for a drink, some good service and the best Fish & Chips when I am having that craving! KT

I visited 10 Barrel Brewing recently with my fiancé, and while there were some high points…read moreregarding the flavors and service, the experience was a bit of a mixed bag. To start, I tried the Pickletini. As a fan of pickle-forward drinks, I found it "not bad"--a solid choice if you enjoy that briny profile. My fiancé opted for the All Ways Down Double IPA flight. At 9% ABV, it was a heavy hitter, but he really enjoyed the intense hop aroma and flavor provided by the Cryo Hops. For my main, I ordered the TNT Sando (Tri-Tip with bacon jam and garlic aioli) on Gaston's grilled focaccia. I requested it without pickles, and it was excellent. I paired it with the Black Bean and Veggie soup, which was a standout--perfectly delicious with a nice "zing" to it. Unfortunately, the meal hit a significant snag with my fiancé's Fish & Chips. The beer and cornmeal tempura batter was extremely thick (nearly 3/4 of an inch in some spots) and the fish was overcooked. Additionally, the blue cheese dressing on his side salad was very runny and tasted off. It was disappointing enough that we had to send it back. We replaced it with The Spicy Italian pizza. This was a total 180--it arrived looking beautiful, and the combination of the meats, pepperoncinis, and hot honey was absolutely delicious. Our server, Casey P., was generally good and attentive, though we did have to wait to start our meal because we weren't initially provided with napkins or silverware. A minor note on the atmosphere: the table we were seated at had "gay" carved into the wood, which felt a bit out of place for the professional vibe of the rest of the establishment. Overall, the TNT Sando, the pizza, and the beers are worth coming back for, but the kitchen consistency on the fried items definitely needs some work.
