Clancy's Christmas Trees has two locations at Sloat Blvd (San Francisco Zoo Property) and 7th Ave and Lawton St. If you are looking for the most freshest and beautiful Christmas trees in San Francisco, this is the place for you. Don't believe me, check it out yourself. Clancy gets fresh trees from Silverton, Oregon on a weekly basis. They sell a vast variety of high quality trees such as Silvertip, Noble Fir, Frazier Fir, Nordman Fir, and Douglas Fir. They are always workers willing to educate and help out anyone, whether you are a first time Christmas tree buyer or a regular customer. They have skillful workers that can either install a disposable or reusable stand for you and make sure it stands up straight before leaving the property. There is also lots of parking and photo ops for those instagramers or Tiktokers. I highly recommend everyone to checkout and purchase a tree at Clancy's Christmas Tree Lot.

Went here for a school field trip. Staff was friendly, helpful and patient with my special Ed class.

    Those poor lonely turkeys!

This is where Halloween dreams go to die. Full disclosure, we're spoiled by going to Arata's Pumpkin Farm down in Half Moon Bay every year, but weren't able to make it down there this year. But we still wanted some pumpkins, so this seemed like an easy way of getting our autumnal gourd fix and hopefully having some fun in the process. Sigh. It was so depressing. Even the three "pet" turkeys there were really depressed. When we came near them, they started chirping loudly at us, which made me think they wanted us to leave. But they rushed to the front of their enclosure and then quieted down, just giving mini-chirps, which were so cute. When we went to leave, they started the loud chirps again, leading me to conclude that they were either lonely or hungry or bored, and most likely some combo of all of the above! It made me sad for them. I don't even know why they were there in that tiny enclosure. The selection of pumpkins was fine, not spectacular, but they were all sitting on moist hay, filthy, and all on the ground, so it was hard for anyone in a wheelchair to pick them up. They did have tables there, but those tables had a lot of random trick-or-treating plastic junk that looked like it was straight from Amazon. There were a few displays of Halloween creatures, but not much. The "hay ride" was a joke...it was a big long truck with exactly zero hay bales on it!! I'm not really sure why they were giving "hay rides" after dark around a sad parking lot anyway, and the only takers were one couple with a toddler. But we got some pumpkins, which were crazy expensive (next time, we'll just go to Trader Joe's, which has the same selection, but their pumpkins aren't filthy and are considerably more reasonable in price!). Now to remind my cat yet again this year that pumpkins aren't his favorite food group....! Pluses include ample parking and...well, that's it, really. But honestly the prices made it feel like it just wasn't worth it to shlepp out to the avenues for a mediocre "pumpkin patch" experience. This might be a lot more fun for little kids who've never been to one of the bigger pumpkin patches in Half Moon Bay. But for a jaded adult like me, there was no magic here, just sticker shock for a middling selection of what I could find for a lot less money at the grocery store.

    Lots of small pumkins

Went out to the patch this year, it's pretty much the same setup as the previous years. Lots of pumpkins, a small hayride in the back lot, and a couple of turkeys for all to see. They take Apple Pay and the pumpkin you pay for will depend on its size. We got a decently sized one for about $10 (medium). Other types of pumpkins with different textures and colors will be 1.5x the amount of the regular pumpkins. Service was pretty fast and they go out and meet you. That's about it!

I'm used to larger pumpkin patches because I go out the farms but this one is pretty awesome for being in the middle of the city. Cute displays and the variety of pumpkins they have make for some nice Instgrammy displays in your home. Plus they have a couple of photo ups and they have nice Halloween decorations and tools you can purchase to make your pumpkin into a proper jack o'lantern. I came midweek so the parking was easy, but I imagine it's a little tough on weekends in October.

This is my first time going to Clancy's and I think I went to the new location. This review is for the 2101 Sloat Blvd next to the SF zoo. Went on a weekday around 3ish and it wasn't busy at all. They're dog friendly and I was able to get cute pics of my doodles without anyone in the background. They have a little "zoo" with stuffed animals on hay and it's a nice little attraction. Pumpkins were decently priced. Obviously the bigger the pumpkin the more expensive. Got 2 medium size pumpkins and 2 tiny ones for about $18. Workers were wearing masks and everyone was following the rules. Had a great time!

New Location! I've never been to the old one on 7th and Lawton but if it's anything like this new location, I'm sure it's great! I brought my Kindergarten class here on a field trip. All the teachers came by ahead of time to this location in preparation for our field trip. It was a great decision because we were more prepared for the field trip. Clancy's has everything a Pumpkin Patch should have: * Hayride * Hay Bale Maze * Photo Ops * Restrooms * Sitting/Picnic Area * Parking * PUMPKINS!!! On the field trip, everything went smoothly because it was not busy at all. I would highly recommend coming to the Pumpkin Patch earlier in the day and earlier in the month of October. I was told it gets really busy. There's so many pumpkins. There's plenty of parking. It's a perfect Pumpkin Patch to enjoy with your family!

Came here partly to see what the fuss what about, and partly because it's a so-called San Francisco "staple". In either case, I finally got to experience this place with my girls. But let me tell you, this place is PRICEY! Although service was nice and prompt, a 5 foot tree cost over $113!!! The tree is "okay" however for that price, I expect the tree to be perfect. Mine definitely had a couple more gaps than what I noticed while there on site. This place is cute and convenient, especially if you live on this side of town. I also think they deliver, which is an added convenience (I don't think I've ever heard of tree delivery service!). But be forwarned: the parking lot is super small and fills up fast.

Lots of pumpkins to choose from!

The second wave of silver tips never came this year. I usually wait around on the sidelines to get them - these trees grow only at 6,000 feet and some years they get snowed in. You must pay for admission tickets to enter and play on these attractions, including the bouncy castles and slides. The best parts were the giant pumpkin named Big Ben and a haystack farm, where you can pose for family or couples portraits for fun. I got the option to pick pumpkins from the ground and pay at the kiosk. I came home with an emotional support swan gourd for $10 and a few mini pumpkins under $5 each. Regular pumpkins ranged from $15- $30. Great for families and dog-friendly.

I absolutely loved it here, but the reason for the low rating was purely the prices. We're only a family of four, and that added up quickly. We've never been to this side of Alameda, so it was a treat to see the views -- that was honestly the best part. We arrived around 6 p.m., which was perfect for watching the sunset. After we paid and got our bracelets, the kids went straight to the jumpers and slides. Their favorite was definitely the hamster ball (not sure what it's actually called). They had so much fun in it, and I was dying laughing watching them inside. It's pretty empty compared to other patches around the Bay, but it kept them busy for about an hour. We would've stayed longer if we didn't have to get them dinner. Unlike other locations, they don't have a time limit, which was nice. I'd recommend this pumpkin patch purely for the views, but keep the price in mind -- you'll still have to pay extra for snacks and pumpkin shooting.

I think fairyland is an awesome place to bring your children to let them run around & play. I did feel a bit overwhelmed because it was literally every head start in Oakland so it was tons of kids, but I would I bring my daughter & son back again. Also I really enjoyed their Cafe too! Although I do feel like 10.95 is alot for 4 slices of pizza but I understand. It was still delicious.

Wow, what a magical day. Children's Fairyland turned 75 and had a birthday party inviting all of…read morethe East Bay Area to come out and celebrate with them ;) We haven't been to Fairyland since we were kids growing up and enjoying the magic, so to come out and bring our little one was incredibly special..and quite the day to do so! Outside of the 'birthday party' I believe they do have ticket specials/price drops you can research through their website. We committed and were okay with whatever the spend was for this event. Since it was a holiday, metered parking close-by was actually free, but that is something to note when coming out that you may spend additional time finding parking. Bring sunscreen, snacks, and water (although they do sell items inside). Upon entry we were given a special key to fairyland that was glittered (see pic). I grew up on the pink keys, so noticing the evolution of this key over time is pretty cool. We were given a passport stamp map (after completing all tasks with stamps you could go to the gift store for a prize), birthday hats, an actual venue map, and pin. There were several activations throughout Fairyland too for the day: puppet shows, performances, glitter tattoos, hair tinsel, special food trucks, DJ, arts and crafts, storytelling, and more. Something I noted was the incredible staff ~ everyone seemed honestly and genuinely happy to be working there. It was such a pleasant experience and added to the overall magic and wonder of the place. The grounds were well-kept and Fairyland looked anything but tired, rather invigorated and vibrant. It was wonderful to see so many people out with their families supporting such a beautiful space and place. As we exited, we were given party favors bags with special trinkets like bubbles, a whoopee cushion, and spinning tops. All in all, money well spent for a day of pure joy for all. Looking forward to checking out the adult nights for 21+ during Oakland Pride coming up, and also checking out their Magic Kitchen..where guest chefs from Oakland come out and whip up family-friendly meals!
