They had a shaking machine to eliminate random needles. The most amazing part of the experience was the price. Last year our 7 ft. Tree cost 200 m, with the stand cat Clancys. Our 7 foot tree this year was $89 for a fresh Douglas fir. We brought our own stand. ABC crew did a fresh cut and put it on our stand for us. Also, securely loaded it on our car. BTW they also have wreaths and garland very reasonably priced. Check the web site. Garland $2.50 per foot. That is a 1990's price! Trader Joe-isgmh, only better quality tying of the cedar. read more

Last night we got the saddest Christmas tree delivered. I thought I was already getting the best quality fir tree over the phone that the lady convinced me to get. When they delivered it, they made it seem like the one they were giving me was an even better one so I was a little confused. They made me get delivery which cost $50 extra and the delivery timing was way off -- by 3 hours earlier and then by 2 hours later due to traffic. They wouldn't allow curbside pickup when it would have been all-in-all cheaper and better to just walk over to Delancey's Christmas tree lot and bring one home from there by picking one ourselves. Because honestly, who would choose this sad incomplete tree? What happened to the rest of the tree? Like the whole rest of the top? They told me just put ornaments but the ornaments can't even cover the bare look of it. We even tried and the ornaments don't even stay on there; it starts bending. We paid over a $120 for all this and every time I look at the tree I'm sadden by the saddest looking Christmas tree. read more

Friendly and helpful staff : from the parking attendant that helps make sure folks are safely in/put of spaces, to the tree trimmer wielding the chainsaw to clean up the errant bottom branches, to the cashier, and the person carrying the tree to the car and strapping it securely to the car. I was there picking the tree by myself and was in and out in about 45 minutes (5-6' noble fir was $75). Highly recommend and will be back in the future. Remember to tip for good service! read more

While I love the experience of trudging through the woods Griswold style to cut down a good ol' fashioned Christmas tree, weather and the lack of a vehicle prevented us from doing so this year. Given the good reviews of this spot, we bussed out here on Sunday to see what they had to offer. The place was well staffed and tented so we stayed dry from the rain. They had tons of great trees - a lot of them quite a bit larger than what we were looking for though, so keep that in mind if you're looking for anything less than 7-8 feet. We quickly found a big fat tree in a corner that we liked. They carried it to the trailer for payment (accepts cards, yay!) and then tagged it for delivery the following day (they deliver, yay!). They delivered right on time. My only gripe was that they didn't put the tree in a net before delivery, so we had to push that big fat bush up a staircase, which resulted in loads of needles all over the house. I happily would have paid any extra $2-3 to make sure it got wrapped. Next year! Tree sure looks purty, Clark ;). read more

Horrible experience. Cheap affordable trees, $115 for 7ft Noble with disposable stand, but you get what you pay for. While they were cutting the bottom and adding the stand, a lady was complaining that her stand was crooked and that they were giving her a hard time fixing it. So when they finished my tree the guy asked where my truck was. I asked him to stand it up first. He lifted the tree over his shoulder and asked again where I parked. I took him out to my truck and again asked him to set it down first. He was very adamant on putting it directly on the truck, so I literally had to take it off his shoulder and put it on the ground. The tree was ridiculously crooked. Like, how do you add a stand and not check it? So I ended up going back and that's when the problems started. Particularly the guys who work the sawing station. Straight rude. They said no refunds and that the only option was to cut 6inches off our 7ft tree to make it even. Not ok. And when I didn't figure out a better solution fast enough, the $115 tree I just purchased was picked up and violently thrown into a pile of tree trimmings and then the s*** f** b***** worker put another customers tree on the stand to trim. A lot more was said, but I want to make sure this post doesn't violate Yelps terms of use. It wasn't until I got loud enough for the other customers who haven't yet purchased their trees to hear what was going on that I finally got a FULL refund. Currently at Home Depot about to buy a BEAUTIFUL tree cut by actual professionals and for only $99. Jamboree has no business in San Francisco. read more

I visited Christmas Tree Jamboree yesterday (11/24) since it's my first winter in SF and I wasn't sure where to look! I know it's early to get a tree, but I love the holidays and couldn't resist! Parking is a bit limited, but once you're inside there's a great selection of trees. The prices are fair too - you can expect to pay $50-$100 for a variety of tree heights and varieties. The best thing about this location is they DELIVER anywhere in SF for $49.95 flat rate. I was stressing big time about driving up and down SF hills with the tree on my small sedan, so delivery was an awesome surprise. They delivered the tree 2 hours later and they brought it all the way inside my apartment. I expected to meet them in the street but seriously, AMAZING SERVICE! Overall, I will definitely come back next year. The ambiance isn't as great as Clancy's but the prices and service are unbeatable. read more

Went here the other night with my gf to get a tree and was very impressed with the operation here. We were greeted with a big smile and hug by one of the employees (owners?) You can tell they've been doing this for a while because they got the tents set up for the rain (which it did), flood lights so you can see everything, trees are color coded according to height, guy in the parking lot directing traffic, and not to mention everything smells incredibly "fresh". They trim the bottom of the tree to ensure it sits flat and they've got an RV which serves as the office. We paid via debit card on a Square machine and someone loaded the tree in the car for us (make sure you tip the guy :D ). Will definitely be back next year. read more

Merry Christmas! Bring cash! Also, keep an open mind, because we learned a few new things here. It was a drizzly Saturday afternoon when we took the hint on Yelp talk and drove a City CarShare truck down to Christmas Tree Jamboree. The banner over the gate advertised $33 trees, which qualified if they measured within a 1-foot range. It didn't take long to figure out there were no trees within that range. So, abandoning the concept of the $33 tree, we looked at the ones that were in stock. Lots of pretty trees crowded around, quietly hoping, "Pick me, pick me!" My Lady had two criteria for the tree: It had to be perfect, and it had to be taller than her. There were many, many noble firs and Douglas firs to choose from, and we perused a major portion of the lot. Some of the attendants were laid back, and others pressed us to make a decision as quickly as possible -- any tree we could lay our hands on would be a perfect tree, they suggested. Determined to browse despite the hungry badgering, My Lady did find The Perfect Tree. And I found out why some of the attendants had a desparate tone: one revealed that they were working for tips. The power saw pro made a perfect cut on the base, and our tree happily boarded our truck to come home with us. We named it Yulia (dorkishness knows no age, people), and dressed it in Christmas finery. "She" will stay with us for about a month, dressed in white light, angels, glass ornaments and toys -- only the best for our house guest. Our 7' 6" noble fir cost $55 + tip, plus a side trip to Cole Valley Hardware to pick up a tree bag, plus the truck rental, which we would have needed regardless of which lot we patronized. And for the next month or so, Yulia may enjoy better living conditions than some of those tree lot attendants, before she moves to the Central Valley to become almonds, artichokes, lettuce and whatnot in her next step in the Cycle of Life. read more

I received my tree yesterday. I was told my delivery window was from 8-12, after 1pm I texted and called with no response. At 4:30 I received a text saying the tree would be delivered at 5:30. Tree was delivered at 5:30 but was a huge disappointment. I would have never picked this tree out myself. I ordered a Noble Fir but it looks more like a combination of Noble and Douglas. I have texted and left messages that I am unhappy with the tree, no response as of yet... 12/4: update the delivered a great new tree today. Forgot to review about this place. There use to be a place closer to my house to buy christmas tree but that place closed down for a long time so this place was the next closes one to my house. It was my first time coming here to buy a Christmas tree here. They have decent selection of trees. Prices varies depending on height of the trees. My family and i asked one of the workers there for the prices on the particular tree we want to get, he told us that our tree should be about $50. But when we went to the cashier area to pay, our tree were actually $60 and if you include tax, net and stand, it costs over $70. So it seems like they increase the prices so don't depend on the list of prices they post at this place because it is not the actually price. Anyways we decided to stay with the tree that we pick. What i like about this place is they let us pay with credit card. The one i went to in the past only accept cash. Its good that this place gives us some options to either pay cash or credit card. Also they have a parking lot to park your car as well. Not a bad place to buy your Christmas tree. read more

They have 6-7ft Douglas firs for $35 - all Douglas firs are technically all the same price, though all of the options were about the same height. This was my first time buying a Christmas tree in the States - both my partner and I are from abroad. We were very excited on our way to this place after reading quite a few positive reviews. Unfortunately, this experience ended up leaving a bitter taste in my mouth. The tree we selected was put on a stand inside a bucket and an employee then helped us put it on my car. After he was done and after many pleasantries exchanged, he told us that next year we should buy with "gratitude." We asked him several times what he meant by that, he only repeated "gratitude, you know what gratitude is?" We left, feeling very disappointed. Later we guessed that he might have been referring to gratuity? Either way, bad service. It is hard for those outside of the states to know when tips are expected. I did not know this was the case when buying a Christmas tree. But even if so, a less of a passive aggressive approach would have worked much better... When we got home, the tree was so uneven on the stand that they made, it was tipped at around 25 degrees - no joke! That's my experience for what it's worth. My recommendation is to add some wording so that people know to tip. Also, the qualify could be better. read more

What a great experience. They had a huge selection of many different types of Christmas trees. The staff was super helpful and efficient. They sawed off the bottom and nailed a water bowel and stand on the bottom of the tree. No dealing with buying a stand that I have to store somewhere. I LOVED this place! We found the perfect tree!! It was our first time Christmas Tree Shopping & it was a great experience. They have different tree and different sizes (Charlie Brown to Fill to the Roof). We purchased a 6 foot one for 60$. (This included a stand and a water bowl) Also they keep filling up the pathways with trees as soon as one goes, so if you feel you haven't seen the one maybe wait a bit (: The one we bought was guarded by a woman for a while and then she left and we grabbed it (: There is a man (don't know if he owns it) who kept yelling at the other workers to help the customers (in a demeaning way), but I appreciated every single employee that helped us TIPS: * Unless you are a person who knows what you want and finds it quickly, I recommend not settling for the first tree you like .... I liked one as soon as we entered, but it wasn't perfect. We walked around and around & I kid you not, we passed through every "hallway" about 8 times :D Then we came back to the one that a woman was guarding (NOTE: we had already seen it, but then she came and we could no longer look at it) and when she left it we looked at it and fell in LOVE * When looking for a tree, pick it up and center it in the hallway and get some perspective :D read more

I have had the pleasure to coordinate with the owner Ken for our annual toy drive at work. Tree Jamboree is amazing! My family and I have always picked up our trees her every year for about 5/6 years now and every year it has been an amazing experience. This year is different because I reached out to tree jamboree for Christmas tree donations for our annual toy drive and Christmas events. They are so sweet for donating trees but more than that the genuine experience and support they've given for the event that serves over 400 families has been out of this world! Ken the owner was so prompt and has given us amazing service Were all so thankful for him! On top of their trees being so affordable and really are the best in town! They have beautiful Douglas firs but most importantly Christmas tree jamboree treats all customers neighborly! They also hide local folks every year to work there. I've seen the same folks work there for so many years and hire families as well! Tree jamboree knows the true meaning of customer service and community! The have the best trees, at the best prices. They had to move over since the new Lowe's went in on Bayshore. They are now on the corner of Bayshore and Industrial. They have a better set up now, so that is a total plus. A parking lot right along side the lot make the experience even better than before.
