It was very good working with Cassie who was generous with her support in ensuring my wife had a great party. As disclaimer we know Cassie from our 6 year old's baseball teams the past couple years. My wife preferred Hapa's Los Gatos location at first but were advised that their Lincoln Ave location would be better suited for her party of around 100 guests including children. We had a private event space next to their brewing vats and rented tables, high tops, and linens through Hapa's. This location does not have a kitchen and instead have taco trucks and such who park outside. For our purposes we had an outside caterer serve our guests and Hapa's were very accommodating to them. This location has a couple barriers between it and Lincoln Ave. and is connected to other small businesses via hallways so it is safe for children to move about freely. Hapa's provided corn holes for kids to play within our space and we had crafts on tables to do. Next door is a pinball machine playing shop so between all these, kids were enjoying themselves and adults largely free to socialize. Hapa's doesn't require you to buy their beer but we opted for wristbands and open bar tab. If you do bring your own alcohol there is corkage as normal though, so we just kept with their beer which our guests enjoyed. Their bartender Alyssa was great to work with, ensuring we had everything we needed while serving their public customers. We were conveniently next to their bar while being set aside from public space. There is filtered water to spout from but it's on the other side of the bar, so a walk to/fro for filling up our water dispensers. Our caterer provided agua frescas, no extra fee from brewery on that. They were able to bring their equipment in the space and set up nicely to serve made-to-order tacos and quesadillas with side tables of self-serve rice, beans, mixed veggies, and guacamole. We had dessert tables perpendicular to them. We were at first concerned the space wouldn't work as it looks warehouse-y but when outfitted with tables/linens, catering, and our own decorations, it turned out to be a great space where people could sit or stand and be free to move around. I was surprised at how many customers Hapa's had as it's in a kinda random location but it was packed both inside and in the back. This casual festive brewery environment worked well for noisy children in our private space and their free and safe movement about the building was priceless. Everyone expressed what a great space it was and my wife really enjoyed herself being able to see so many circles of her life in one space. Thank you Cassie, Alyssa (sorry if misspell), and Hapa's!

I told the workers there that It was my first time there and I didn't know what drink to get. (RIP) location. They also happen to make what I believe are the best Hazy IPAs in The Bay Area--and trust me when I say I drink a *lot* of Hazy IPAs. I have the photos to prove it. The Good: * This location is their taproom and brewery and has a nice bar area with games, as well as a more open back space where they have events, like live readings of Shakespeare. * Friendly service The Meh: * There is no food, but they do have food trucks on occasion, especially during the aforementioned events. * I wish they had a rewards program. The Ugly: * The parking lot is fairly small and shouldn't be an issue during normal business hours. We took a seat in the warehouse and I notice that the game audio was not turned on while loud music was playing in the background, As I was asking my wife of why they don't have the audio on, the gentleman sat next to us told us that they won't turn the game volume on because the live DJ will be performing in 2 hrs, I told him that's 2 hrs from now, let me ask. I went to the counter and met with the female beertender, I kindly asked if we can have the soccer game volume turn on since the DJ won't be here for another 2 hrs. I was hit wit a response of "Nope, I won't turn it on" I know that a brewery establishment have rule that they need to abide to but c'mon man, at least give a more professional response then "Nope, I won't turn it on" I planned on giving only 10% tip due to this encountered, but as I went up to pay, the gentleman who helped me earlier remembered my name as the card on file. I ended up giving 22% tip because that's the type of service I remembered NF always provides. I will still be back, customer since 2021.
