So my mother-in-law and I made the short sojourn to Shelbyville to check this out. And what we found were indeed some great prices if you took it all in. For example, you can find knickknacks for $12-$20. Rugs for $50-$500. Furniture pieces for $150+. And mixed in are some definite higher-priced pieces. One of the associates told us that the owner works directly with furniture manufacturers, and many of the pieces are from high-end brands -- you just wouldn't know it because the branding has been stripped. And the quality seemed to bear this out. There are several pieces that I'd love to have in my home and that look like they would last for decades. I ended up buying some ceramic peaches for my mantle and some orange dried pampas grass for a floral arrangement. I would definitely go back if I had a certain furniture need in mind. In the meantime, it's definitely a fun place to browse. Plus it's easy to get to right off I-64. Oh, and one more thing: It's right next to Jeptha Creed Distillery and Talon Winery. It is not always the fanciest furniture but there are plenty of deals to be had if you're selective. Years ago I bought a heavy wood desk from here for my home office ($15.). Several years later I found just the right chair for a different office set-up ($20). It was heavy duty and almost new. When my daughter went off to college we stopped in again and she found a nice upholstered swivel chair with wheel casters for her dorm room desk ($10.) On that same visit I found a new, high, swivel, stool type chair. They wanted $35. but I offered $10.. We met at the compromise of $20. If you don't need chairs or desks they also have filing cabinets, tables, etc. You have to walk through the showroom of new furniture to go into the warehouse of used furniture.It's amazing at the huge selection. I believe it's cash and carry so be prepared to make a decision, pay, and take the merchandise away with you.

Lots of things appear to be used or cheap, Temu level. We asked for antique posters, we got a print that we found online for 1/10 of the price. He also dumped the boxes in our basement, and we never heard back from him. If we are paying for his hours, I would expect service, including someone coming and unpacking and he doing the adjustments, etc. After a few months, I decided to unpack, that's when we found out about the poster and also that some items were missing. We then emailed him, and he looked very responsive saying he would do the adjustments but never did. Months and months just pretending. Enormous emails basically saying he was feeding poor children and awkward unrelated comments. He even insinuated we were having money problems since we wanted our money back. I order things from people I don't know all the time and when there is a problem, those people are usually helpful. I was not expecting this from a person that I have known for over 10 years. Now, I believe his friendship is only for his benefit and it is not real. Be aware of all the fairy tales of how he says he is, of how he has good heart, how he treats his clients and how they treat him. For me it was not only a money pit but also a personal disappointment. It sucks but that is how life is. btw, I still don't have my money back after 7 months of emails.

If you are shopping at Louisville Overstock Warehouse, then you're one minute down the street and should put this spot on your shopping schedule. Definitely check out the website - www.ilovefabs.com. It is mobile friendly and easy to search by category. It will also be easier to ask where to find specific items in the warehouse. All sales are final so it is highly recommended that you inspect the item before leaving. Many of the pieces available are chairs and sofas so you need to sit on them. I found some pieces to be super cute but they weren't comfortable or sat too high. My husband was super excited to learn about this store. Prices are reasonable, items are new and it's fun to hunt for a new find. We'll certainly be back and tell others to visit.
