You do not need to do a long hike to enjoy it, you can be standing near it within 2 minutes, which makes it perfect for quick stops or bringing people who are not looking for a big trek. If you do want a little more time outside, there are plenty of trails to make your walk longer. You can turn it into a loop or wander a bit in some fresh air. There are usually enough people around to remind you that you are in a park, but not so many that it feels crowded. It strikes a nice balance between social and being chill. Woods aside, there are areas to play, grill, and hang out. It is the kind of place that works well for a picnic or small gathering or a solo walk. Simple, pretty, and easy to enjoy. I am amazed at how restful and beautifully maintained it is. The flowers were welcoming, the small waterfall enchanting, the trails curious and winding, and the wildlife amusing. I felt more relaxed and grounded after my visit than I have in a long time. The only negative was that someone was smoking weed on a park bench and the odor instantly turned me off. I'm sure smoking is not allowed, but I was chagrined that in this little section of The Garden of Eden someone would assume to make the place smell like a stoner's living room.
