We stay at the Clarion in Branson whenever we travel to Branson. We like the location to get to everywhere we go. The staff is very friendly, helpful and considerate ! We enjoy the pool which is kept very clean and there is a poolside bar & grill! We enjoy sitting on the patio off of our room. They provide a schedule of the shows and times of the week. There is a number you can call to get tickets & they can send them to the hotel if early enough! They serve breakfast every morning. They have coffee available all the time. I booked through Bboking.com and when we checked in, nothing that I selected when choosing the room was granted.I showed the front desk clerk my reservation and she told me Booking falsely granted me that room. I paid for a room with a private balcony that included an exclusive breakfast. we were place in the second tower on the 2nd which for us was the bottom floor. There was mold on the shower curtain and holes in the wall behind the toilet and they charged me for the breakfast I had paid for. Front desk clerk said Booking.com falsely advertised and I requested right then to speak to a manager. I was told the manager wasn't there so I left my contact information at the front desk with the front desk clerk and I never heard from management. read more

The stay was horrible. I sent the below review and after several phone calls to the hotel, MARIA told me she would refund me $50.00....what a joke. I have pictures of everything a sent it to management. They do not care. DO NOT spend your money at this AWARD WINNING hotel. We decided to come to Branson to celebrate our engagement and get away after my mother's passing. I called the hotel before arriving and asked multiple questions. We arrived early knowing there would be a $25.00 early check-in fee (this is what we were told on the phone). We checked in and were then notified the early check in would be a $50.00 fee...(different than what we were first told), we paid it since we had a long drive and wanted to relax for a little while. We walked in the room and the mildew smell was very off putting. We booked a room with a whirlpool tub so we could relax and enjoy some quiet time together. This whirlpool tub was filthy and the finish is peeling off. Filled the tub and white paint flakes were floating in the water. The room did not have a microwave, holes in the wall, finish peeling off the bathtub, the blow dryer did not work, the lock on the door was broken and not secure to the door frame, and the TV was the smallest I have ever seen in a hotel (thankfully I was not there to watch TV). The furniture in the hallways was very tacky. We did talk to the front desk multiple times and nothing was ever addressed. I have stayed in MANY hotels and this one was very unimpressive. Not very award winning and the pictures on your website are misleading. At check out, we mentioned these issues again and the gentleman at the front desk looked at me like I was an alien. When we finally arrived back home, I looked at my receipt and noticed a $30.00 resort fee we were never told about. We never used the pool, the hot tub and never ate the breakfast provided. read more

Kathy and Lori checked us in. Lori and Breanna checked us out. They were all delightful ladies. Our room was perfect with a great view and a balcony. The air worked well, the water pressure was strong and the room was spacious. Most importantly, the beds were comfortable, providing a good nights rest. I find this to be true for all Choice Hotels. Finally, I believe this hotel was better now than it was 10 years ago. It has definitely been renovated. I recommend this Clarion Hotel whole heartedly. read more

We had our Navy Nuclear weapons Reunion there and they did so much for US.from picking people up from Springfield airport to sitting up tours to dinner dance. I would give this place a 5 star. So disappointed. I regret choosing this hotel. "Pool 24/7" sounds great until you realize it means constant noise. It's almost midnight and our room is right next to the pool -- impossible to sleep. The front desk said the hotel is full and they can't move us. On top of that, the Wi-Fi doesn't work. We just arrived today and it's already a frustrating experience. Would not recommend. After the first night, we were indeed moved to a different room (after first sleepless night). However, it was a connecting room (the connecting doors shut closed of course) and the noise from the hallway and the neighboring room was unbearable -- we were woken up at 5:30 AM. The walls are paper-thin and the door doesn't seal properly. After the second sleepless night, we decided to end our misery early and found a different hotel. I tried contacting (emailed) the hotel owner (Jeremiah) several times but haven't received a single reply till today - week later. PS: I had specifically requested a quiet room on a higher floor, away from the elevator and in a peaceful part of the hotel, several months in advance when I made the reservation. Unfortunately, the receptionist only noticed this note at the time of our check-in, and by then, only a ground-floor room near the reception was available. read more

I booked this room through Booking.com and was given a rate of $280 for 3 nights. When I got my credit card bill Clarion had charged me $315. I tried to call their customer service and the number listed was incorrect. I also emailed them 3 different times and never heard back. I ended up just eating the loss. We were in town for a family wedding. We upgraded our hotel when we found out that our granddaughter was coming with us. There are just so many places to stay in Branson so finding a hotel was a crap shoot. It was beautiful and the hotels are fantastic. We loved them. The front desk staff were wonderful. They were very sweet to our granddaughter when she was all dressed up for the wedding. Things were expensive there though. The continental breakfast was not good. They wanted you to pay for the bigger buffet. We left 2 11x13 pictures in our room. The agreed to mail them to us for a cost of $21 which I thought was outrageous considering the hefty price of the room. We wouldn't have minded paying the postage but that price was ridiculous for something that would cost $5 to mail. Also, if you are a Diet Coke drinker, you are out of luck. They must have a contract with Pepsi. Overall, we would probably stay there again but might have to mortgage our house to pay for it read more

I'm very happy with the service of this hotel. We got 2 hotel rooms to accomodate my family and the room was clean and odorless. The bed was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and good customer service. Unfortunately my daughter had an accident in an outside park and broke her leg the hotel staff facilitate a wheel chair for us and at the end of the stay the Manager told the hotel reception that we could keep the chair as my daughter xmas present after I offered paying it to make our trip back home easier. I definitely will recommend them and will definitely stay here in the future. read more

My stay was horrible. The indoor pool and hot tub were out of commission and had been under renovations since July 2023 per the lady at the counter. The toilet was nasty, the carpet had stains, and the tub had drain issues. There was only lukewarm water to shower with, the pillows were small and flat, and the coil springs in the mattress could be felt poking into my body. The bathroom lighting was horrible for putting on makeup. The jacuzzi tub produced stones during use. I provided feedback as requested via email and received the following email from the hotel: "Denise, Sorry we wouldn't give you a free stay. Blasting us on the internet like an entitled child is a bit excessive and unnecessary. If you can't afford to stay somewhere then you shouldn't... You could have left at any time and chose to stay, enjoy our room, eat our breakfast and sleep on our beds. Good luck with your PLOY at the next property. Jeremiah" I could have left but would have still been charged for my stay. I never ate the breakfast because I don't eat breakfast. Do NOT stay here or you could be subject to the same harassment that I am from the hotel for leaving an honest review of your stay. Rooms are small but clean except the carpet. We had a queen double room which barely gave enough room to walk around the edge of the room. The bathtub was peeling off the bottom so am glad we didn't have any small children to bathe. They claim to have a breakfast included in pricing but only offer dry cereal, milk, waffles and apples from 7:30am-9am. Coffee is terrible. And watch out for the elevator doors that close almost before you can get out with your luggage. all in all...We won't plan to return to this property as it's just not worth it. it's worth what we paid. read more

The hotel is dated (90s) really enjoyed the balcony facing the main road. During covid there is no hot breakfast or regular room service. The indoor hot tub and pool was very nice. The steak house is closed. We did forget to bring our box fan and the hotel had one we could use. For the price you get what you pay for. Hope they update soon! read more

Breakfast was average...only issue is that the breakfast room should be locked and only room key enabled, as we saw homeless people going in there to grab food. We were discouraged to eat or touch anything after that. On the bright side, they provided us with complimentary toiletries when our luggage was delayed. The location of the hotel is great. The staff is courteous. Wonderful continental breakfast from 6 AM to 9:30 AM. They have two pools. One indoor pool and one outdoor pool. If you prefer a less crowded pool use the indoor pool during the day and the outdoor pool in the evening. Smoking only designated areas. The staff is exceptionally friendly. And Don will hook you up with tickets to shows in the area! I highly recommend the north tower with a balcony. Wonderful views at night on the balcony! read more

Only giving one star because you can't give zero. We booked and we're charged for a balcony room. That's not the kind of room we were given. The room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in so time. The carpet had stuff all over it. There was hair in the sink and shower along with dirt. The shower would randomly run every little bit. Shut the bathroom door and could still hear the water running. Been coming to this hotel every year for the last 20 or so Years! I love this hotel, we always get the George Bush suite usually... but I have had a room on the first floor with a patio and it was kinda nice. Indoor pool is great and so is the out side pool. I love going out to the 2nd building and getting a waffle in the morning. The rooms are always nice and cleaned and never had any issues with them. read more

We stayed here recently for 9 nights, and we absolutely loved it. They decorated so nicely for Christmas. Every day they had a hot buffet. Just wished they had some type of potato on it and OJ, but they had everything else--even waffles, as well as scrambled eggs. We will definitely stay here again. They had a gym, safe, microwave, fridge, and balcony, WIFI, computer room, conference center, indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub, patios with chairs, sitting rooms, restaurant, etc. We loved Branson, MO and all of their 110 plus shows along with the very friendly people. This hotel is right on the strip in the theater district. All the shows are within 5-20 minutes of the hotel. read more

Our family stayed here for two nights while vacationing in Branson. Clean hotel with a location right in 76 or the strip. The parking lot in front is at an incline so very uneven. The pillows were tiny travel size, thin ones. My son and I did fencing pillow fights with these roll pillows. The continental breakfast was alright. Biscuits and gravy were there both days along with scrambled eggs and bacon or sausage. They had make your own waffles and pancakes. A fridge and microwave was also in the room and an outdoor balcony. The housekeeper left her bifocals which I returned to the front desk. Nice hotel that I recommend. read more

Let me just start by saying I probably expected way more from this hotel because of the high rankings and awards it has received but needless to say it was everything but that. After just checking in and heading into the room we were given keys for we stumbled into our room to see a 500IB naked man laying spread out in our bed! The bar in the hotel has slim picking for choice of alcohol but I have to say the bartender was very nice! The hotel was old and run down...a lot more to complain about but I'll save it, needles to say I definitely won't be back to this location! read more

Do not check into this hotel. We checked in on 7/03/2022 around 5:00pm. The woman at the front desk was the worst person to greet and to check people in. She was so rude, arrogant, unfriendly, condescending person I have ever experienced in my life traveling around the world at hotels. There was so many mistakes this woman made, it's unfathomable how she even got this job. Later, after asking her the manager was, she had no idea and said "they tell me nothing" so unprofessional and clearly wasn't made for or cared for her job. The place is a mismatch of two different buildings and was told I had to load my car back up with all my belongings and drive to the other half and unpacked my baggage again. Of course, I didn't believe this could be true and found the connecting corridor. Hotel is outdated and worn out, dirty and not well maintained. Decor is from the 60's. No USB to even charge a phone. Desk people seem helpless. They have a computer that prints but do you think they would offer to print mine? No, they would rather watch me struggle for 30 minutes trying to make the one in the lobby work. Asked for first floor and got 3rd. No parking anywhere near my room. I stayed at the Clarion on June 20-23. They put me in what is probably one of the worst locations in the Southern Tower directly in front of the stairwell when there were obviously other rooms available. Experienced people walking up and down stairs until early morning hours. Needless to say, if you get this room you won't get much rest. While the room was clean, the furnishings are very dated and the room is dark. Based on price this is what you get. Unfortunately I left some items in the room hanging in the dresser. When I called 3 days later I spoke to the manager CJ, who took my information and said he would check with housekeeping and call me back. I never received a call from him. I called again and again my information was taken down by the reservation desk and I was never contacted. On the third time I contacted them I was told to call back during the week day and speak with housekeeping. On the fourth call to the Clarion I spoke to Lanie who said they were very short staffed and that is probably why no one has followed through. She also said she couldn't transfer me to housekeeping since there was no way to do that. She did contact them via radio and I heard her relay the message. They called her at the front desk to say they were going to the Southern Tower to look. I remained on the phone on hold for a good 10 minutes until Lanie came back on the phone to say they hadn't gotten back to her and that she had a long line of people checking out and couldn't help me further. She said she would give the information to CJ the manager to call me back. When I explained that he never returned my call before and the poor service I had received she hung up on me. Suffice it to say, they are concerned with customers in house and not so much about returning customers. I will not be using this Clarion Hotel or any other in the future. Extremely rude customer service and ineffective in solving my problem. I do not recommend this Clarion!! Branson prides itself on upstanding and friendly customer service. You will not get it here! I suggest the Best Western Center Pointe Inn for a great location and better service. If CJ from Clarion ever calls me, I will update this review. read more

Great place in the center of all of Branson attractions. Priced right, the thermostat on heater didn't work but we were in a hurry in and out it was our fault we didn't inform the front desk until two days later and they immediately repaired while we were out on the town. The hotel had a full hot breakfast and was great. Keep up the good work. As a Choice Hotels Diamond member I've stayed at quite a few Choice properties around the country as I've traveled on business. While in Branson on July 14th, after checking out of our timeshare, my husband and I decided to stay at the Clarion. I encountered the rudest front desk clerk I've encountered in my many years of traveling as a road warrior. Upon check in, (Aaron?) proceeded to immediately assign me to a room in the rear building (which is set up motel style with outside facing doors. I politely asked if there were any rooms available in the main (north) building. He looked me in the eye and said there were no rooms available in the main building at all! I took the room key and proceeded to the assigned room. upon inspection of the room I returned to the front desk to be assigned to a different room. The other desk agent, a young woman asked if I wanted to be located in the rear buidling or the main building I had originally asked for!!! I would need to pay a $4 difference. Not only did I get a room in the main building but I able to give her my preference for a high floor and direction to face!!! As I stood waiting for the key, I overhead Aaron assign another guest requesting the a room main building to the building also. As I had approached Aaron as a pleasant in a pleasnt manner, my only assertion was there was a personal bias for the way he treated me. To add insult to injury, after filing a formal complaint with Choice corporate office. I have still not received a response (in August!), to my emails, phone calls regarding this issue. If this is the expected service from one of the "best" locations in the Choice portfolio, I think I'll take my $$$ back to Hilton or Marriott where they know how to treat loyal customers. read more
