A Deeply Disappointing Experience:…read more We engaged Partenza Travel, led by Christine Andraus, for not just one but two important vacations: a milestone birthday trip and a family vacation with three other families. Christine came highly recommended, with promises of access to exclusive properties and assurances that she could meet our specific budget and requirements. However, our experience has been nothing short of a disaster, leaving us feeling exploited and severely disappointed. Broken Promises and Misrepresentation: Christine assured us that she had the connections and expertise to find unique, exclusive properties that would cater to our needs and fit within our budget. Based on these promises, we entrusted her with planning our trip. We provided clear requirements and a reasonable budget, which Christine agreed to. Despite clearly communicating our preference for specific types of accommodations, we were presented with options that not only missed the mark but also ignored key aspects of our requirements. We received 3 options. 1/ a villa that was 2x our budget, 2/ a villa with 5 rooms instead of the requested 7, and 3/ a Hilton Resort (vs. private villa as requested), which was the same price and availability we found ourselves online. Unprofessional Conduct and Financial Exploitation: When we raised our concerns and requested a resolution, Christine's response was disappointing. Instead of acknowledging the gap between what was promised and what was delivered, she was dismissive and unyielding, insisting on keeping a non-refundable fee despite failing to meet our needs. This refusal to refund the money for services not rendered in good faith has left us feeling taken advantage of and deeply dissatisfied. She eventually agreed to refund 50% of the $4,000 we gave her. To add insult to injury, separately we were also planning a milestone birthday with Christine in a separate thread. Because we had "disrespected" her, she ended that relationship as well, and decided she deserved 75% of the $1800 ($1350) fee for that trip as well. All in all, for a combined $3350 in fees, the sum total of value we received from Christine is that she found us the property for the birthday trip. Our 4 families received nothing of value for the holiday trip. Causing Unnecessary Stress and Inconvenience: What was meant to be a joyous and memorable group vacation (and birthday) has turned into a source of stress and frustration. We are now forced to start from scratch on the family trip, seeking alternative arrangements on short notice, all while dealing with the financial implications of Christine's failure to deliver. Conclusion: Our experience with Christine Andraus and Partenza Travel has been nothing short of a nightmare. The way she has handled this situation--through misrepresentation, unfulfilled promises, and an unwillingness to rectify the situation--reflects poorly on her professionalism and integrity. We strongly caution anyone considering her services to think twice and seek alternative options that will not leave you disappointed, out of pocket, and back at square one.

Vicki's expertise in every minute detail of our trip was thought out carefully and perfectly executed. For every trip that we have booked with Vicki, she has always advised us to purchase travel insurance. Thank goodness for her insight as our France trip had to be cancelled in March of 2020 due to Covid, we recovered every cent that was prepaid when we cancelled. This summer, we booked a 3 week trip to Italy for our family of five. I knew that I wanted to visit the Puglia region, Amalfi Coast, and Tuscany. Aside from these three general regions, I left it up to Vicki to help decide what cities within these regions to stay. We also wanted to have a car rental to explore but also travel by train because my husband loves to travel by train. Our 3 week journey went seamlessly well. We visited Matera, Bari, Lecce, Positano, Sorrento, Florence, Lake Como and Milan. Vicki made sure our car rental was large enough to fit our five carry ons suitcases and three teenagers for 11 days. Vicki suggested not having a rental car in Lake Como as it's better to use ferries to travel in the area. Our hotels was always centrally located to allow us to walk to restaurants and sights. When we took the train to our next destination, our hotel was within a7-10min walk from the train station. Transfers from train station to hotel was planned, transport from hotel to airport was set in place. Everything that needed to be planned, Vicki was on top of it. From reminding us to renewal our passports to obtaining an international driver license, no stone was left unturned. The best part of working Vicki is that she knows our family likes and dislikes and was able to help us planned a trip that fits our personalities and needs. We did not get a generic itinerary, our itinerary was carefully curated with Vicki's expertise in the region. Our accommodations were top notch, always centrally located, and close to transportation. Even after arriving in the various cities, Vicki was sending restaurant recommendations for each city we were at. It was reassuring to know that she knew where we were while on our trip and that she was a text/call away if needed. I'm grateful to have an amazing travel agent in Vicki. She has made every trip we've had effortless, enjoyable, and memorable. I can't imagine planning a trip without Vicki's assistance. She's truly a gem.
