Their service and quality of workmanship is fantastic. Had to get my Toro Timecutter taken (picked up) in after it stopped working. I thought it was going to be a major engine problem and expensive, plus take several weeks to get It fixed. Clark and Sons contacted me the day after they picked it up with an estimate, and delivered it a week later. This shop had great service and no hidden costs. The charged $41 to pull my lien mower apart which pretty much is labor. My mower was DOA and couldn't be revived. All was not lost as they had a mower in my price range and deducted the $41 off the price. I'm disabled and on a fixed income but they had a basic Toro that even had a bag. Thanks guys! read more

Linda Saw was their sister shop before going belly up and the same issue. They're basically the only game in town, so hopefully someone gets smart and breaks their monopoly. Solid long time family run business. Bert pulled up schematic on line to help me replace a fuel line on old husky saw. Explained it so detailed that it took me longer to drive to town than it did to replace the line. Great customer service and reliability. Absolutely fabulous. Customer service simply does NOT get any better than this in the lawn care equipment industry. I have spent several thousands of dollars there with Tim and his family and would never take my lawn mower, garden tractor, weed eater or leaf blower business anywhere else. They are polite, responsive, competent and extremely gracious towards female customers (something I found very lacking in other lawn equipment specialty retailers). Their service department is "da bomb" and their turnaround time second to none. If you live anywhere near Yuba City and need gas powered lawn and garden equipment this is the only place you should go! read more

The worst kind of people to do business with! My wife took her lawnmower in while i was out of Town.They said 1 1/2 weeks before they could get around to it. When she found out she had used bad gas she went back with her father to get the Lawnmower back. The counter boy was extremely rude and condescending, he then shuffled through some papers and declared they had already started working on it and refused to let them take it home. My wife said she felt she was being bullied by this guy and just left. When I got home, We went to retrieve it just as I figured one of these places that likes to take advantage of women or other people who are not mechanically inclined. Just like that I got it back in pieces, they were gonna redo the carburetor for around 100 bucks on a 200 dollar lawn mower. Not in this lifetime! Mr, Congeniality went into the back while another fairly decent guy brought out a basket case lawnmower which was ok as I am mechanically inclined. However I think Mr. Congeniality made sure some of the parts were missing. 4 bolts, 2 nuts, 2 washers, 2 hose clamps, and the starting/pull cord assembly. I guess I should have realized who I was dealing with and checklisted each part. I rigged it together with spare nuts and bolts and since they had closed I bought a replacement pull cord assembly. With some fresh fuel and a little coaxing she fired right up. Did I forget to mention they offered to sell me a 400 dollar lawn mower as a replacement.
