I took over this property, Brown's gas owned the tank so naturally I called them. But before I could call them they showed up. Twice. once when we weren't home (the previous owner contacted me and told me via cell) and then the second time we were home the driver, randy, very nice guy and I spoke, he was told that we had not transferred service yet and he made it clear to me that he couldn't put any gas in the tank until I did that and of course I said yes I understand how commerce works I haven't had a chance to do this yet and you just showed up out of the blue. Again. I'm sure the previous owner told them that they sold the property when they showed up the last time and spoke to her. Lol. So I went to the Browns Gas office to open my account - it said they were closed for lunch on the fence, it wasn't lunchtime, it was 1030a. I came back 4 hours later around 2:30 PM and that sign was still up. This time I learned my lesson and called to make sure they were there. I came back the following Monday and when I mentioned that they said there just wasn't anyone there that day and fair enough I understand it's a rural company I guess. I opened an account and deposited money to get a delivery and was told they'd "let me know when that could be", roughly a few days later they let me know when they were coming and I asked what time frame and they said they couldn't give a time frame. I've run a service company for 30 years I found that amusing so I thought they must have meant they won't know until that day when they set up his delivery route so today is the day and I called and I spoke with Sam in the office. She assured me that she could not tell me any time frame when the driver would arrive and when I said that sounds odd, never heard of that, she seemed pretty indignant explaining to me that the driver is operating a vehicle filled with explosive gas and that because of this very reason they cannot offer a time frame to which I of course replied doen't that argue against not knowing where your driver is? in fact you should have a precise schedule for a driver that you're turning loose with a gigantic 20 ton bomb, you should know exactly where they are at all times or at the very least within a 2-3 hour time window. She remained indignant clearly regarding my comment as out of line. So here I sit with dogs put away, m gate open and unable to leave all day long because a service company cannot figure out a delivery schedule the day of - I've had other propane companies, this has never been a problem, no one else does this as far as I know. also it is weird to me that the last Yelp review here is 2 years ago. I get yelp reviews every week and my business is not large. If people aren't writing positive reviews you're doing something wrong And if you've been in business as long as they have and you only have a handful of reviews at all you're really doing something wrong and judging by their overall rating on Yelp I'd say that's confirmation. I don't think they realize we have choices up here.

I'm very impressed with Terry's excellent customer service and Holt Ag's pricing. I grew up in NorCal on a farm, and after 20+ years, I recently decided to ease back into farming. I also have several friends who farm, so I did my research and checked prices from Kubota dealers all over central and NorCal. Holt Ag prices blew away all the Kubota competition! With Terry's outstanding customer service/responsiveness/information and Holt Ag's pricing, they both have earned my constant referrals and future business. Recently we picked up some ordered items as well as 1 gallon of engine oil. My husband is disabled and an employee carried out and placed oil on the floor in our passenger backseat area. When I went to get the oil out, it had leaked from the lid all over and under the back floor mat, the carpet was saturated! Almost the entire gallon was spilled. Because I have the entire back seat covered by our pet seat and my front passenger seat back there is no way that if the oil was placed standing up it could have fallen to be laying flat as to allow the spill. We didn't open the container or note the way it was initially placed but it did not have a plastic tum seal on the lid. Beeler's ultimate is finding us that we shouldn't have left it in the car for a day...They finally agreed to give us another oil and would try to clean up the mess themselves although admittedly they had no clue how. I've soakes up all I can with paper towels, applied pressure with a plastic spackle tool to bring up more oil, and applied baking soda to absorb more. We are now looking for businesses that can clean up with degreaser and shampoo and hope oil hadn't migrated seeping through carpet/padding.

We went in on a Saturday, after just having our old riding lawn mower break on us. We had cash in hand ready to buy with no questions asked. We get to the dealer, and it was near the end of their workday about an hour left, but we figured they would want to make a sale and because we had cash it would be a quick process to buy a new mower. NO, The old receptionist at the front desk were so rude did not greet us when we came in or asked us what we were in for. We had to approach the desk after no one speaking to us and I told the Karen at the front desk we wanted to buy a new mower cash no financing. She looked at me and said the finance manager was with someone right now and he would be out. She never let him know or anything. So about 30 mins later he comes from his office with no one in there and asks us what we were looking for. We told him the mower we wanted and he said that they did not have any of those mowers in stock that we could come back another day. He obviously just wanted to go home and made sufficient commission that day where he just didn't feel like it. I asked him about the three mowers he had outside that we were interested in as well as the three in their back area. He said ALL of those are sold already...really 6 mowers all sold with no signage yeah right. Easy to say we left and went to Home Depot and purchased two mowers from them. Wanted a deer since the quality. But we are happy with what we have for now and this dealership will not get a second chance from us.

I cleaned out the underside thinking the built up of grass may have overpowered the engine. Well, needless to say I was pretty upset because this purchase hadn't paid for itself yet as it was two months new and just past the point when home depot wouldn't take it back. I was told I had to take it to a manufacturer approved repair facility. POE is one for Yard Machines. They took a quick look at it and opened the gas cap to say "you don't have any gas!" Ummm what?! :/ I didn't think it was gas as I had JUST put in gas the day I last used it! I suddenly envisioned my blonde roots exposed (and I'm not naturally blonde)! LOL!!! We weren't sure so he put in a bit of gas in there to test it out instead of making me go back home to fill it and the possibility it wasn't that and bring it back to the shop again. He saved me a trip and repair cost! Thank you! For that, I'll be your first reviewer and fan.
