I will not shop at the location in my neighborhood anymore because of the lack of efficiency getting in and out, plus it's gotten pretty gross there. This is maybe the nicest WinCo I've ever been to. I've also had very consistent problems with expired food. I purchased a dessert three weeks ago and turns out it expired in January 2024! We threw it away but the next weekend we returned to do shopping we did let the store manager know after we checked the freezer again and found several items with the same issue. Today we arrived to see the freezer is looking wonderfully arranged, clearly someone had spent some time and done some real organizing here, but unfortunately, I went straight back to the product that I had complained about, and again so many expired! I understand being a week past the expiration date, even two or three weeks is honestly understandable, especially in frozen foods but a month, six months, a year or more no way.

Trader's isn't we here I do all my shopping, but when I'm looking for cheese, crackers and charcuterie items, this is where I go. I also love their affordable bagged salads, sugar snap peas, Persian cucumbers, small curd cottage cheese, and eggs - all affordable weekly purchases. Can always find decent wine at affordable prices, too. When they are offering tastings, I always give them a try and discover something new. And of course the 99 cent greeting cards are a steal! Plus the fresh flowers and plant section not to be missed. currently they have bromeliads which have one single bright orange, red or yellow bloom that lasts for months. I have about a half dozen! While I don't live in this area, when I go to have my car serviced or I'm visiting friends in Oregon City, my car automatically turns into the parking lot. Did I mention the easy ample parking?

When I took this up to customer service to trade it for another lemon "Thomas" couldn't have behaved more bothered to have to assist me and needed to see my ID and wanted to receipt... For one lemon. Not out of the norm for this guy, as he always seems to have quite the attitude. Also having one checker, checking people out is ridiculous and you have to bag your own groceries. I am disabled, so this is incredibly difficult for me and I always have to do the self check out because the lines at the one working check stand are unbearably long. Sad really how far Fred Meyer has fallen. Do better Fred Meyer!

Love this place! It's under new ownership (Scott and Tammy) and they've really done an amazing job with this sweet, historic country store and restaurant. When you walk in, the 1st thing you notice is how clean and fresh everything is which is lacking in most stores. Then once you really look around and go into the restaurant section, the renovation they've done is beautiful, everything from refinishing the beautiful original floors to fresh paint and booths. But the best part...the food is fantastic at a very reasonable price plus they have beer on tap and some great wine choices. So if you're in the area, stop in or even if you're not in the area, its truly a destination drive and worth it! We belong to a cycling group as well as a car club and this is a favorite destination for us! When I stepped up to the counter, I told Mallory the Sub Maker that I'd never been to a JM's before and she took great care to explain everything to me, even going so far as to tell Oliver, the other sub-maker behind the counter, when he asked if I wanted my sandwich "Mike's Way" that I had no idea what he was talking about since I'd never been there before. Now that's good customer service, right? Looking out for your customers! I ordered a medium Original Italian (provolone cheese, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami, and pepperoni) with added pickles and pepperoncinis, as well as a small fountain drink. The sandwich was huge! I was sure I wouldn't be able to eat the entire thing but I was long past hungry and found myself inhaling the whole sandwich before I even knew it. All the cheeses and meats are sliced fresh for each cold sandwich and placed on the roll of your choice: white, wheat, and rosemary parmesan (I chose the rosemary parmesan just because and I wasn't disappointed at all). Since this was my inaugural experience at JM's, I decided to go the whole way with Mike's Way (onions, lettuce, tomatoes, olive oil blend, red wine vinegar, oregano, and salt) plus the added pickles and pepperoncinis. The bottom of the sub was a little damp (not soggy) from all that "juice" but it was perfectly fine. The parking at this location can be a lit of a challenge but it's well worth the hassle of finding a parking spot just to have one of these amazing subs, made up by a couple of people who want to do good by their customers. That Mallory deserves a raise! The inside of the shop was clean, sandwich prep area was clean, table tops were clean, restroom was clean, self-service fountain drink area clean. (If I had one suggestion to the staff, it would be to put a trash container of some kind near the fountain drinks for people to throw their straw wrappers in. For some reason, people can't seem to walk 5' to a trash container and will just leave their trash on the counter.) I'll be going back here for sure!
