Edit: after checking the area again with some natural light, they buffed so hard on the lower panel that the paint is not even there anymore. See pics. Please do not come here, when they do a bad job, they dont fix it. Long story short. I had a door panel that need to be re paint it, no fix needed, just need it to be repaint (because there was a scratch from someone opening the door and scratched my car). 865 dollars, yes one door, and they did a great job! (At first i thought). But after it i saw a lot of imperfections. They tried to fix it, but didnt do it right, and the 3rd time going back, thats when the drama started. Long story short, there was A LOT OF imperfections, and I mention it, they said ok we will take care of it, manager Ryan (which should not be a manager at all). They didnt even do anything because I can tell, and he literally said....I CAN SEE THE 2 DOTS THAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT, BUT THERES NOTHING ELSE WE CAN DO. AND THATS A AREA I PAID 865 FOR IT!! Would like to give a big shout out to all the individuals that assisted me on getting my car back on the road safe and sound, from getting front end damage from running over an object in the road. There are a few people I would like to single out. 1st is the front desk. Jasmine was super knowledgeable and helpful throughout the whole process, from getting me scheduled and explaining everything to me in a manner I could understand, she is definitely a good asset to the Caliber Collision team! 2nd is Chrystal my tech who did the estimate and walked me through what they needed to do. She stayed in contact with me and even sent photos of my car to let me know what was happening. She made the process easy and I felt like I was her only concern which goes a long way. Since Caliber was an auto body shop in-network with my auto insurance, I decided to have my car repaired there in January. The WORST decision I have made in many years. They have lousy customer service and gave us ever-changing dates for completion numerous times through texts that were confusing and very unprofessional. We got our car back with a different hubcap color which looks horrible and the bumper they fixed is always loose when we drive. The worst thing they did was put the wrong license plate on the front of our vehicle. They had the same type of vehicle in their shop while ours was there so they put the wrong plate on. This major oversight caused me to have to deal with toll charges in Maryland and New York that were not made by my vehicle but by the other vehicle that had our front plates. I had no idea why I was getting so many toll bills until Montgomery County Police called me to tell me about the tag mix-up. I have had to write letters and send in documentation several times already trying to explain why I am not responsible for those tolls charges. DO NOT trust this company with your car. Their staff is inept and they do a lousy job of repairing cars. When I did a survey they sent me rating their service in February, I didn't even know the hubcap was a different style and color (my son used the car away at college) nor did I realize our front plates were switched. I gave them a low rating because their customer service was lousy. I never received any follow up call but once I put this review here and on Google- surprise, surprise they contacted me. That is exactly why I know they only care when a negative public review comes out about them that can affect their business- they don't really care when I did an honest review just within their company. A rare part for my old car was on the other side of the country and to meet my schedule to drive to Beale AFB they went above and beyond and an employee volunteered to work the weekend when they normally are closed. I was really pleased with my experience at Caliber Collision in Clarksville, from beginning to end. Barbara at the front desk was friendly and quickly had the paperwork and scheduling done. Dave was kind and patiently went over the body work that had to be completed, how much the costs would come to, and approximate time it would take. He also offered suggestions for alternative work if I wanted to do more than insurance would cover. I liked getting options. Actually, the job was done ahead of schedule, and it looked great! They did the work with professionalism, and even washed the car and vacuumed the interior. In many ways, it looked like a brand new car, although it's nine years old. If I'm ever asked for a recommendation for a collision facility, I will definitely suggest Caliber because of their expert work and a staff that shows respect, friendliness, and expertise. My husband's car needed repairs earlier this year after hitting a deer. We took it to Clarksville Auto Center after getting a recommendation, however, I wish we hadn't. At first, everything went well. The customer service started out friendly, and we just had to wait for parts to come in. We waited weeks before we could take the car in, which I understand wasn't their fault. Finally, once the parts came in, we were called to schedule a time to drop off the car. We had to wait a few weeks out again for a drop off because they were booked, again we were understanding. However, the communication after dropping off the car was where we were left disappointed. We dropped off the car and they called us once to let us know that they might have to keep the car longer because they needed to order another part. They said they would call us back with updates. However, they were horrible with communication after that and never actually called back when they kept saying they would. My husband kept having to call each day to get an update on the car. One of the times they said that the door window wasn't working and needed more time for it, but why didn't they call to tell us? The last day my husband called, he got met with an attitude when he asked if his car was going to be ready that day and was told something along the lines of "Well if we didn't call you, it's not ready." My husband let them know that they have been telling us frequently that they would call us and update us, but they haven't been which is why we've been calling. Thankfully within the next day, they did finally call and tell us the car was ready, and my husband went to pick it up. After bringing it home, we saw that the reconstruction and fixing of the car was not even well done. Parts were not aligning with the trim, the window glass on the passenger door was moving slowly when rolled down and made a weird noise. A trim piece near the door mirror was literally popped out, and we had to pop it back in. It was a mess. We didn't want to deal with this shop again, so we didn't bother calling and trying to bring it back. We do not recommend this shop and will never return here again. read more

From that point on Caliber, and their Service Advisor Dave Leary handled every aspect of my repair. I dropped off my car a month ago. At the time it's my understanding my car will be fixed in 2 weeks except for the back bumper cover which on back order. Now 1 month later, I was told that my car is waiting inline to get fixed and it may take a few more weeks, seriously? Had I been told it would take more than a month to get my car repaired, I would have chosen another body shop. This company repaired my car and did not put all the screws and joining pieces in. Further, they refused to accept my car when I needed to have it towed as a result. They said that there had to have been another collision in order for the car to have fallen apart as it had. But here are the facts: 1. Only the pieces that they had just repaired and removed during repair were falling apart. 2. They said that they looked at pictures that I sent and that it had to have had an impact because one of the pieces was broken, but in actuality the piece was not broken. It was just hanging at an angle due to the missing screw that they forgot to put in. They also told me on the phone that this piece has been replaced when it had not been. 3. They said that the flap over the wheel had to have been impacted because it was bent backwards, but in actually, both flaps over both front wheels were bent backwards. No, a car didn't hit me on both sides lol. It was from wind drag since they were loose and not installed properly. They bent back because the plastic of them is very thin, and once they separated from the car while it was driving, air pushed them both backwards. 4. There was no new marks, scrapes or dents or any indication of a collision. 5. When I mentioned the lack of scrapes the guy on the phone then said that the car had to have been hit perfectly dead center in order to have impact but that he still stood by his assertion that it had been hit. If that were the case, then the car wouldn't have been falling apart more on one side than the other though. 6. I noticed a funny sound driving it right away when I picked it up from them but because I have a roof rack and multiple straps on my car, I didn't realize that the sound was actually coming from the car itself. I was trying to figure out which strap was causing this new sound lol. 7. The car never had an opportunity to be hit in the front. Where I park at home, not only has 24 hour video surveillance, but it also faces an area that would have been impossible for another car to drive on and hit mine. The car had only been driven for 2 short trips before I noticed on the third that the front was falling apart and I parked head in each time, in places that were impossible for any collision to have occurred. There was no collision while I was driving. 8. When I took it to a different auto body shop to be fixed they said three things: A. With what was holding it together, there's no way that the car would have stayed put together. B. Screws were missing C. There were chunks of hardened glue in the (supposedly) new parts that was preventing the joining pieces from joining properly. So it is extremely clear to me that they were careless about putting the car together, and then refused to take any responsibility. Now those thin plastic flaps over the wheel are permanently slightly bent as a result which causes some driving noise. I'm sure it would be a quick easy fix for them (as was putting in the screws) but I'm not going to even bother asking. Clearly they'd rather get crappy reviews, and damage trust, than take responsibility for anything. Lastly, don't expect any updates from them if you have your car there. Not even on pickup day. read more

My vehicle had been previously repaired by a body shop in Ellicott City, but they did a poor job. After a few months, rust appeared on the repaired left side rear passenger door. Frustrated by the poor paint job/rust/other things done by that body shop, I had been recommended by my insurance agent to go to Clarksville Auto Center, for the corrective repair. That advice was spot on. Clarksville Auto Center quickly determined that the previous shop did not apply anti-corrosive to the door shell they had welded on, and that caused the vehicle door to rust. Clarksville Auto Center convinced my insurance that the door shell should be replaced, to ensure a proper fit on the door (the other shop welded the door on crookedly), and they would apply an extra layer of clearcoat. In the end, the work done on my vehicle was fantastic, and Clarksville Auto Center was attentive with my every request/need. read more

I recently picked up my SUV which was at there shop for over 3 weeks. You would have thought that it had major damage, but it was something about the insurance Co. had to come out again, as they needed more $$ to fix it. & I understands that. But when I picked up my car they had installed different parts on one side that did not match the other side. Did not replace parts that were on car when it came in and the window did not work properly which they replaced. This car will need to go back once again for repairs to be redone. I will tell you that I used them before and they did very nice work, that's why I returned. Just make sure that you take a photo before you take you auto to them as when I called they told me that they needed to check their photo to confirm the parts left off. That not very good customer service. I will now be without a car once again ! as they will need to fix what was not done correctly the first time. Good luck if you chose to use them. read more

I had spoken with one of their estimators over the phone after dropping my car off a few days before. He was rude and wasn't able to answer my questions about my own car. I asked to speak to the manager and was told that he was busy. When I went in to inquire in person, I spoke with a different estimator who was extremely helpful and apologetic for the service I had previously received.
