I think one of the best place in El Paso, the food was great, service was fast and great, nothing but the best Clamatos and Micheladas, I tried the Mango Miche Chamoy and a Hangover Clamato and were the best, they have a lot of diff beers from all over the world, the vib is great and the music is perfect. Grrreat place for one of their famous Clamatos preparados! The only food menu item I have tasted is the tacos de tripitas which were pretty good, a little crispy but not too much just the way I like them. My favorite clamato is the Hangover which includes shrimp, carne seca, clams, olives and celery. I like dos XX whenever I have their clamatos. I also had one of their chamoy drinks with mango which was tasty, but I prefer the Clamatos better. The inside of the restaurant is very small with a few tables and limited seating at a bar. They do have an outdoor patio also with several more tables and chairs. I think most people come here for the drinks, not so much the food. It's just one of those hidden gems in El Paso! read more

Overpriced drinks combined with bad service. This is the second time I've been here & both times were just as bad. The first time my mom and I came for lunch with only two other tables seated. Our server forgot to put in our order and when the food finally came out he never bothered to come back for refills. Our second trip was with a go up of friends. Food was ok but again a different server forgot to put in my friends order. I also got a glance to see another server texting while his table ordered. Very unprofessional! Their service sucks! This is the second time that I call in and place an order ahead and get here and still have to wait approximately 25 minutes for my food that is ridiculous! And their excuse is always "oh sorry our kitchen is falling a little bit behind". I cant tell what it was beyond some sort of brisket quesidilla and some pork tacos but they were scrumptious and very reasonably priced compared to what Im used to back east. Food was good and very reasonably priced. All of the waitstaff were very friendly. We had a dog with us and they even brought him some water in a to go container. Been there a few times, most recently took my mother out for her birthday. Our server, Jason, provided excellent service. Had the queso fundido, tacos al pastor with pineapple, barbacoa tacos, and cranberry and apple salad--all brought out in a timely manner. As most people experience from time to time, there comes a point where you're running low on funds till payday. Well this was one such occasion when I had a mere $7.00 in my account. Went into Clasico and grabbed a $3 burrito and water. Opened my bank account to find an overdraft fee and a charge of $8 from Clasico!!! Thank God I kept my receipt! The burrito was ok, but the music was way too loud for 8:30 in the morning. My Mom ordered a coffee and all they offered her was powdered creamer...YUCK! We went in for some Clamatos and Lunch around noon last friday at the Montana location, the server took over an hour to bring our food out, (it wasn't even packed) food was cold, ended up spending two hours of our day there and we waited more for the food and drinks than what we lasted eating there, we saw other tables that got there after us getting their food first being that we had ordered way ahead of them, server never came to ask if we needed anything or check up on us, no refills nothing, had to go ask someone else for our tab. Wont be stopping by anymore, not worth a $60 lunch for 3 at all. Wont even spend a dollar there. Too bad the clamatos are really good but customer service is horrible! read more

This is a great place with great food, an extensive selection of foreign and domestic beers. The tv monitors cater to all sports. The waiters and waitresses are friendly and efficient delivering drinks and food promptly. I have tried their appetizers, their tacos, their burgers and salads and all are awesome. I don't have a favorite, I like them all! I usually have a meal with a glass of beer (or wine). The frosty glass with the beer has you asking for more than one. I highly recommend eating there. You will not be disappointed. If you are eating alone, sit at the bar. You will find yourself sparking a conversation with others around you in no time. Great food great drinks bad service. Waited a while before I had to get up and ask for service the place was not packed. We got our service and the waiter forgot about my wife's dish but as he was leaving the table he repeated the order back to us and had it correct. They were out of lengua, barbacoa, and brisket! that's almost half their burrito menu. The service was friendly. I ordered the tripitas tacos, it was overpriced for four tacos two tiny salsa containers and a side of beans. I was excited to finally check this place out because I've heard so many great reviews. My husband and I went on a Thursday around 12 pm. It took 45 minutes for a server to take our order. When he finally did he asked us if we wanted to order anything else besides beers. I don't understand why he would think we just went for beers? He saw us looking though the menu and closed it which I thought meant we were done looking and have decided what to order. Anyway, we ordered the shrimp tacos which took another 25 minutes. The shrimp had no flavor whatsoever and the tortillas were cold. The only thing that made the tacos good was the condiments they serve with them. I don't see what is the big deal with this place. The only thing they have going for them is the clamatos which are pretty expensive. I'd rather go to Coco Miel for better service and way better food for the price. read more

Fun place if you are in the mood for tacos! There is quite an extensive variety of tacos to choose from. Plus your tacos are a good size and come with extra toppings (the green sauce was the best!). Over staffed with untrained employees with absolutely NO knowledge what's so ever of what service is all about, this place could be awesome if properly managed this is the second time their with same experience however on this occasion I walked out since nobody ever acknowledge me sitting at the small bar and I was the only one their and their was more employees than customers I could run this place with a third of those employees more efficiently providing Great service, hopefully this review will help them get it together and make the appropriate changes to retain all their existing customers and build a constant new incoming customer base, this little place has a lot of future potential. read more
