I had the best experience with Class Act Tuxedo. I called them frantically on Thursday (we had a wedding on Saturday) because I needed a sage green suit for my 5 year old. I sent them over to Class Act after seeing the great reviews here on yelp with an inspo picture of what I wanted their look to be for our big 20th anniversary celebration . Planning a wedding on my own down to every last detail it was very hard for me not to be there and just put my faith in the owners of this shop to come through for us and boy did they ! I had no idea what my husband or son's tuxedos looked like until our ceremony began. I could not contain my tears. I was just blown away by this place! Will recommend to everyone I know. I was overwhelmed, needing to find a suit for my son's homecoming (he decided to go last minute). Shae fit us in with an appointment, made my son feel welcomed and at home (and made him laugh- huge win!), and had a suit on him within 10 minutes of walking in the door! Where do I start? The dust has settled, and the routine of new home, new life (married life), and settling in is becoming pleasantly comfortable. The days are passing and as my wife & I check off thank you's to all the corresponding family, friends and vendors... I realize that a very special and loud thank you is deserving of Shae & Sal, the proprietors of Class Act Tuxedo and Bridal rental. My wedding was in December. I met with Shae & Sal in October. My brothers and father/ and in law to be all were fitted by Class Act. I had changed my mind um, let's say a few times, because of course- I wanted to look my best and I knew what I wanted. Or did I? Shae was an absolutely perfect pillar of patience, kindness and reality. She was confident we would be looking our best, and wise enough to remind us, that time for alterations was key. GREAT so far! Everyone in the party was fitted, tailored and ready. ... and then... I went and flipped the script. December was moving quick and before I knew it, I was 48 hours away from my wedding. I made the call and decided to scratch my original "unique" outfit and match my brothers with a classic great tux. I showed up an hour and a half before closing the DAY BEFORE my wedding, and this is what happened... I explained to Sal, that confidence was key, and I just didn't feel I had made the right decision. THEY delivered on what I wanted, but my execution in choice was lacking good judgement. Sal helped me get sized, along with some alterations that needed to be made on the pants, ALL while assisting a few customers that had popped in while I was there. I felt horrible that all the time spent creating and ordering pieces was scratched for this new revision. Nevertheless...as Sal was putting it together - I felt confident! Beyond pleased that I was ready now for our ceremony. I left..smiling.We stayed til close but it all got done. It was the best feeling having that fear off my shoulders. I could now focus on everything I had to do with confidence! Now, the most important thing most grooms should realize is that number 1... no matter how good WE want to look...ANY wedding is an "all-eyes-on-HER" event, and that's the way it should be....but I can honestly tell you...that as I've settled in and started the fun process of placing new picture frames within our home of family, children and our wedding, - I look at us and reminisce on how wonderful and absolutely BEAUTIFUL that day was. I zone out for a minute and relive it again for a bit. The pictures we have will last us our lifetime, and when I'm old and gray, shuffling around my house - I know that I'll look up at my wall and see a memory that will bring tears to my eyes. My family, my wife and I all look beautiful...and it's only fitting that Shae & Sal be forever thanked and commended for solidifying such a memory and favor that I can never repay. Thank you so very very much Shae & Sal. You both were beyond my vocabulary of amazing and I will forever refer future clients to you both, as well as praise your efforts and hard work. Shae has a lot of spunk and personality, so be prepared. She's cool as long as your cool. Sal is down to earth and always helping hand to Shae or the store. It can get really busy especially, during prom, wedding, and graduation time (May/June). Be sure to make an appointment before coming and don't freak out if its busy when you arrive on your scheduled time. People walk in unexpected and sometimes get turned away because they didn't make an appointment. I promise the two of them work as fast as they can and will get you in/out as soon as possible, so keep a positive mind. Please support them as it is family-owned business. There are moments in your life where you ask those yearning questions: "Will I be okay?" "Will things come together" "How will I get out of this mess?" "OH LORD! By your grace I need a miracle!" It was 1:30pm on January 29th, 2022 and I arrived at the church, on time, to my cousins wedding. HOWEVER, when I opened the trunk and zipped open my suit cover, it seems I did NOT have a suit shirt! I laughed, sighed, packed up my things and said "Jonathan! GET IT TOGETHER!" I drove to the nearest Target, but as I was there... it felt dark, cold, dingy, but more importantly, pathetic. I looked at the unenthused Target associate and said, "these shirts here won't look good on a suit, huh?" He just looked at me and shrugged his shoulders. It was all I needed to RUN out of the store. While running back to my car, I opened my phone and typed on Safari: "SUITS NEAR ME!" Boom! 8 minutes away. This beautiful place called "CLASS ACT TUXEDO & BRIDAL SHOWED UP!" I called. "Hello" "Hi. I have a big question... do you have shirt suits I can purchase?" "Hmm, what's your size and I can check?" "I'm 5ft 7... Probably a small" "I think so, but we usually take appointments." "You don't understand, I'm supposed to be at a wedding 15 minutes ago and have nothing to wear!" "15 minutes ago! Okay. Come on by and we'll see what we'll have for you!" I arrive at their place. The door swings open with a "ring" I look inside and I see two gorgeous people, a husband and wife, Shae and Sal. They were with customers, but with one quick look of my disheveled face, Shae says, "you must be the one who called" "Yes M'aam" "Alright, let's get you going" I was a like a tornado and they had the hands of God as they took me in, smoothed out my chaotic energy, and allowed me to become "one" with the selection of clothes they had in their store. I'm talking New Jacket New Shirt New Tie New Socks Pants? I was all good I kept my pants! They even provided a FREE pocket square. Y'all when I tell you that I looked a type a way that would make Tom Holland proud, I'm telling you I looked that type away. Necks would be turning if you know what I mean... and I think you do. The attention to detail, the empathy, the actual care to make sure everything fit me snuggly and clean to a point where I looked in the mirror and just said out loud "God damn. God damn. Sal and Shae y'all are miracle workers" To top it all off! They did this all in less than 20 minutes!!! They know how to multi-task. When it was time to pay I was ready for the dollar signs to be flashing widely, but you'll be surprised how affordable they were... I was like "NO WAY! NO WAY! Looking this way for this service and price!?!?? NO. WAY." Of course I tipped. If you don't tip... well you need to go to confession and ask your priest, reverend, rabbi, imam, abbot, or your mother for forgiveness. Sal and Shae are my heroes. I wish they had an Instagram because I would be tagging their business like there is no tomorrow, because in my case, there was not. I walked out of there with happiness. Go to them! Seriously. They're miracle workers. P.S. I missed the wedding, but arrived in time for after wedding photos and of course, the wedding reception. Did I party and drink hardcore for the first time in almost two years? Yes. Yes I did! P.P.S. Because I changed at Sal and Shae's place, it seems I left my Tennis shoes there.
