If I could give negative stars, I would. I found my wedding dress at Love Era on August 1, 2025. It was well over my budget, but I fell completely in love with it. I cried when I tried it on which is not something I do and after searching countless bridal shops, I had never seen anything like it. I paid for the dress in full that day and trusted Love Era with one of the most important purchases of my wedding. That trust was completely broken. The communication throughout the process was poor from the start. I repeatedly had to follow up for updates because information was rarely provided unless I asked for it. After months of checking in, I finally received the call that my dress had arrived. Excited doesn't begin to describe how I felt walking into my appointment on February 15th, exactly 90 days before my wedding. I expected to leave with my dream dress. Instead, I walked into what became one of the worst experiences of my entire wedding planning process. The dress that arrived was not my dress. Not a slightly different version. Not a manufacturing variation. Not a minor design change. It was an entirely different dress. The moment I stepped onto the platform, my mom's face went white. She immediately knew something was wrong. Within seconds, she brought it to Alex's attention. Rather than acknowledging the obvious problem, Alex repeatedly insisted it was the correct dress. Even when my mom physically pulled the sample gown I had originally tried on from the showroom floor and placed it next to the dress that had arrived, Alex continued to deny there was an issue. Anyone with functioning eyesight could see these dresses were completely different. At this point, I had paid thousands of dollars in full months earlier and was standing there being told that the dress I received was somehow the same dress I purchased, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. What was even more shocking than receiving the wrong dress was the complete lack of accountability. There was no genuine apology. There was no urgency. There was no immediate solution. There was no ownership of the mistake. Instead, I was told, "I'll contact the designer and get back to you sometime next week." Sometime next week. As a bride who was only months away from her wedding and suddenly had no dress, I was expected to simply leave and wait. I left the store feeling completely abandoned and with absolutely no confidence that anyone understood the magnitude of the situation. That same evening, I informed my wedding planner about what had happened. Within 24 hours, she had done more work to investigate the issue than Love Era had done since discovering the problem. She contacted bridal shops, gathered information, explored solutions, and provided answers almost immediately. Meanwhile, I still had not heard from Alex. Eventually, after my wedding planner and I did the investigative work ourselves and I presented my own proposed solutions, Alex finally admitted via email that there was a problem. Let that sink in. The bride and her wedding planner had to identify, investigate, and help solve a mistake made by the bridal shop. The only solution available was for me to take the showroom sample the dress I had originally tried on. A dress that had been on the showroom floor for approximately three years. A dress that had been tried on by countless brides. A dress that required cleaning, repairs, and extensive alterations because it was a size 4 and I am a size 8/10. As a result, I was forced into additional appointments, unexpected expenses, unnecessary stress, and repeated 100-mile round trips during the final months before my wedding. No bride should have to spend the last stretch of wedding planning wondering whether she'll even have the dress she paid for. Mistakes happen in every business. Ordering errors happen. Designer issues happen. What should never happen is a complete refusal to acknowledge an obvious mistake, a lack of urgency when a bride's wedding is approaching, and forcing the customer to become the project manager for a crisis they didn't create. The most disappointing part of this experience wasn't the wrong dress--it was the response. The denial, the lack of ownership, the lack of communication, and the absence of any meaningful effort to make things right until I pushed relentlessly for answers. My wedding day was beautiful, but the months leading up to it were made significantly more stressful because of this experience. Brides place an enormous amount of trust in their bridal salons. My daughter wanted to get a feel of what type of dress she looks best in. Guess what? She ended up saying "YES TO THE DRESS!!!" The experience at this bridal shop was the best! Sabrina I swear is a wedding dress whisperer! She was able to pull dresses my daughter was envisioning for her medieval-themed wedding. Sabrina was on-point with the selections she chose. She was honest with what worked for her and what didn't. To those reading this review, their website is upfront with what to expect including their prices. They were so accommodating even though our budget was lower. Consider checking out this beautiful bridal shop even though it may not meet your budget because you'll see the exceptional quality of these gorgeous dresses! And the look on my daughter's face when Sabrina pulled her dream dress was absolutely priceless. The dress was actually very reasonably priced considering all the intricate detail and quality of the dress. Unfortunately, had a bad experience here and did not feel welcome at all. There were a few things that left a sour taste in our mouth. My best friend went here for her dress (I'm the maid of honor) and this was our last stop of the day. From the moment we walked in, we didn't get a warm vibe. I asked for water to which they pointed to their fridge to grab it, whereas other places offered first and grabbed drinks for us. As my best friend was trying on dresses, we kept feeling like our consultant kept pulling things way out there and not what she was asking for. There were definitely a few good pieces but overall didn't feel like she was paying close attention to what she asked. When I asked for something in a warmer shade, she responded that all the dresses are ivory and not white. The bride's mom wanted to walk around and look at dresses while we were waiting. Other shops had no issue with this. But here, the person at the front said they prefer not to do that because it gets overwhelming. She just wanted to get an idea what they had, not trying to run certain dresses. At the end, when the consultant asked if my friend was getting the dress, she wanted time to think about it, and it's like her whole demeanor changed. She wanted her to know on the spot if she was buying. At the end of our appointment (which was 3 PM) the person at the front immediately said "now is the time to use the bathroom because another group is already coming." Our appointment was 1:30-3:00PM, and if you plan to have another group coming, you should allow time for us to exit and you can reset the room. Instead, as soon as we walked out we passed the group entering. This place has potential but they could definitely work on customer service and making a bride feel actually special. We ultimately went with another place who treated our bride right. UPDATE: I appreciate the response from the owner, but I do want to note that I was there right at the appointment time and I was the one who asked for drinks. And when our late guests arrived, I was also the one to tell them where drinks were. Also, we did check the clock when the bathroom was mentioned and it was 3 PM on the dot. read more

I worked with Sabrina at Love Era Bridal and she was amazing! Of the three places I searched for wedding dresses, this one had the absolute best service! Your stylist will cater initial choices according to your style and your budget, which took a lot of mental strain off me as this was the first boutique visited. I was feeling so much anxiety and pressure and Sabrina helped talk me through the process to mitigate some of that. She had amazing advice on how to sort of frame my mind and help distinguish between what I just thought was pretty and what I could actually see myself wearing on my wedding day. Their dresses are beautiful (no surprise there!) and they have a truly great variety for brides of all tastes. The shop itself is super cute and there's amazing lighting so you can really see the tones of the dresses. 10/10 recommend visiting Love Era Bridal! I even drove from San Diego to visit them. I was down to two different dresses that I loved (because her inventory is amazing) and she let me try on various accessories and veils to envision the final look. She even worked out the price with me so I could have my perfect dress. Alex was so patient and collaborated with me on the style of dress I was looking for. I had zero confidence in my decision making under pressure. Alex was able to make sure I felt comfortable and took a genuine interest in my thoughts about my potential dress, which help put me at ease before walking into the appointment. The Love Era team found some 'off the rack' options for me to try on. After a couple dresses, I wasn't feeling the "Yes to the Dress" moment, however the Love Era team were determined. We tried one last style that Alex pulled - and I don't think I had ever felt more confident. This is the first bridal shop I stepped into and the owner Alex with Marissa made this process so easy and enjoyable. When I first entered Love Era, I was anxious and excited. Alex helped me feel relaxed and comfortable and made my girls and I feel at home in the shop. I absolutely loved the ambiance of their shop and how it felt exclusive in that we had the entire place to ourselves compared to other bridal shops. Alex was so incredible from beginning to end. Based from the photos I've showed her, she understood the style I was looking for and executed it. I tried on the second wedding dress and after only 10 minutes into the appointment I looked in the mirror, tore up and knew I found the dress. I am beyond happy to have found my dream dress. I am struggling to find the words to describe how abominable this experience was. As the mother of the bride, this was supposed to be a joyous occasion and I could tell fairly early on that things were going sideways - fast. We were accompanied by my other daughter and the bride's grandmother and aunt who both flew to San Diego for just this moment. Upon exiting the building I found out how utterly appalling this appointment turned out to be for my daughter. As is customary at all bridal salons, the bride informed Alex which designer she was interested in, gave her specific dresses she wanted to try on, as well as her dress size. My daughter typically wears a size 8 dress size and every salon she's been to has a few sizes and she was always "clipped in". In fact, Love Era's website touts inclusivity and claims "ours is a safe space for you to shop without pressure or judgment." AND you claim to carry US8-US22. My daughter found out upon arrival that there were none of the dresses she had requested and anything remotely similar she only had sample sizes that were tiny. And when they were in the dressing room trying to find anything to try on, Alex blamed her for ripping the dresses and telling her she was too big. My daughter remained composed until we exited the building and confided in us her horrific experience and was mortified. The appointment was demeaning and demoralizing, and the joyous occasion that she thought she would be sharing with her close family members turned sour and sad. I was absolutely LIVID and I initially wanted to return to the salon to voice my opinion, but she convinced me to 'let it go'. Alex, your website says you have a 'commitment to infusing positivity into the wedding world'. Wow - you failed spectacularly. As a wedding industry 'professional', as a woman, I am aghast at your behavior. I am mortified FOR you. Thank God, this was not her first salon appointment as we have had spectacular service at others. I think you need to think long and hard about the role you want to play as a participant in these beautiful, young ladies' lives. read more

I just got my dress at Love Era and I am SO in love. Alex brings gorgeous dresses that fit your budget, fit the vibe you're looking for, and look amazing on you! She takes in every detail you're looking for (even if you're clueless as to what you want like me), which I really appreciated. She's been in the wedding business for many years so she is very passionate about making your day special. I feel like its helpful that she has done wedding photography before so she'll also find you the dress that will photograph well!
