Solid company with experience worth every penny. I highly recommend Mountain High Appliance. We originally purchased a high-end dishwasher from one of the big box stores (BBuy), thinking we would save some money. The big box stores now contract out all services, so you don't have any idea who you are getting. The 3rd party service team came out, installed the dishwasher, turned it on & left. After it ran, we discovered the dishwasher door was broken. I called the third party who told me to call the big box store. Big box company said to call the third party, as they had no idea what happened. After multiple calls, I was so frustrated I told the company I wanted to return the product. They come out, de-install it & break one of the water pipes in the process. Now I'm out another $500 for plumbing services to fix what they broke. Mountain High saved the day. Our avocado circa 1970's double oven was on it's way out, and connected to a matching range. The challenge lay in finding a replacement that would fit into the older cabinetry and cooking space. Mountain High stood by a required visit to assess the situation - which required electrical upgrades - before any purchase was made to make sure that the replacement would be able to be installed properly. The cost of this visit was deducted from our purchase installation. This alone saved us so many dollars and potential mistakes. I cannot ever recommend Mountain High Appliance. We ordered a high-end refrigerator and it took 3 separate installation visits to finally get it installed. They showed up with damaged parts; then 2 weeks later without necessary screws; finally another 1.5 weeks later they had what they needed. On top of that, they ordered the refrigeration parts shipped to our HOME address, not their site. I received at least 10 phone calls from the shipper and one nasty letter saying they were charging me for parts storage. I called Mountain High, and they said they were addressing the issue which they finally did but not in a timely manner. Then, the customer service manager assured me he would give us some compensation for our inconvenience. He has never followed up even after I have left two messages asking for him to call me. I generally don't write unfavorable reviews, but this was so extreme that I felt it was necessary. read more

I really would not go any place else for my appliances. At different times I bought a refrigerator and a range. Lori at Mountain high really listens to what your needs are and suggests products that are on target. It is just a pleasant low stress process. I also really like that their installation team are employees of Mountain High and not subcontractors. They have a staff who can help make sure the product will fit right the first time and they made the modifications to the space to get the placement correct. I had purchased a range from Mountain High a decade ago, so returned expecting more of the same. That was not the result. I ordered a range along with the matching over-the-range microwave and paid to have my old equipment moved over to my neighbor's house. The microwave was installed such that it blocked the cabinet from opening, so we had no access to the largest cabinet in our kitchen. The oven was installed several inches from the wall because the gas line was in the wrong place. Nobody mentioned that until I asked why there was a large gap. For the two pieces that were installed in my neighbor's house, the range had the same issue with the gas line, and the microwave somehow got dented during installation. We paid a handyman to come reinstall the oven so that we can open the cabinet but I'm frustrated that we needed to do that. The comment from the handyman was that the Mountain High installers definitely were not pros, and from what I see, I don't think he was wrong. By comparison, when we bought a fridge from Specialty, they warned us that if the outlet was in the wrong place, there would be an additional charge to move it, but they would have appropriate staff ready to go. Mountain High mentioned nothing about the gas line or the cabinet positioning, rather just installed equipment so that we would need to pay others to come back and fix it. I contacted our sales rep on Saturday who said he emailed their installation team, but as of end of day Tuesday, still have no response. read more
