This is a follow-up to previous entries regarding the deteriorating (extra expensive) carpet I got in November 2025. After connecting with Simply Floors early 2026 because of the shredding carpet and after a couple of inspections and coordination with the manufacturer of the carpet, I now have the replacement installed (June 1, 2026). The installation was a good process this time and the carpet will most likely hold up very well. Good installation, done within a reasonable time frame and confirmation of details beforehand was achieved. Would have given 5 stars if this was how it went in the beginning. Although I wouldn't recommend one company over another, I would recommend solid communication with all involved, especially with the install crew and company together so everyone is on the same page from the beginning and not just futile lip service. Follow-up inquiries are also important. Would I work with this company again---probably, since they came through with corrections. read more

An outstanding experience, from selection through installation. Our salesperson, Rayna, was focused on assisting us with cost effective yet attractive flooring for our walkout basement. She showed us samples at several price points, arranging to have samples mailed to us quickly, when we left town during the selection process. Throughout our interactions, Rayna was upbeat, efficient, and professional. Very good communication, as well, from Connie in scheduling/billing. The installation crew completed the job ahead of schedule. They encountered only minor unexpected issues with the floor preparation, which they addressed quickly. We were thrilled with our new kitchen floor when we had it installed a little under five years ago. We recently started noticing cracks in the tiles. Worst experience I've had with a company in years. Their job was to remove 3 pieces of furniture (a small bed, an empty dresser, and a desk) then replace the carpet. They call me up saying that they don't know how to move the desk. I tell them all they have to do is take out three screws on the right hand side and it slides apart. The guy made random excuses about how he "didn't know how." They said they'd get their other team to do it. Days go by and I don't hear back. I call and turns out they aren't doing it. I then have to drive 2 hours from Colorado Springs and two hours back to remove the three screws, which takes 5 minutes to do BY MYSELF (and this is their profession not mine). They come back to finish the carpeting job two weeks later. My tenant tells me they didn't put the furniture back and that they broke the desk. I then have to drive another 4 hours to finish their job (which it says right on the invoice includes "move and replace furniture). I email them saying I would like a discount/not to pay the remaining couple hundred because of this. They say they're forwarding the request to their manager. A MONTH later I get a rude voicemail from the owner saying they're immediately calling collections on me. Not once did they ever respond or try to charge my card for the remaining amount. I call back and explain the situation - he interrupts me 10 seconds in and says they're calling collections then hangs up on me. This has to be the most petty and poorly run business I've seen in years. No wonder why their service is so terrible. It all comes from the top down from an adult child running the business. PS they broke my furniture when I told them they didn't need to take apart any of the pieces they unscrewed UPDATE: I was nothing but nice to the workers on the phone. I've never said anything about race or anything rude to or about them. We talked on the phone I don't even know what race they are. The furniture was new. You take three screws out and it slides apart in 3 pieces no problem. I did this by myself in 5 minutes. You can see from my photos the owner never responded to the email. All I heard was that they were going to get back to me. Next thing I know I have a voicemail you can see in my photos saying he's calling collections. The first email I ever received from him or his team was today, which I've now uploaded as well. Publicly lying and arguing in the comments is not a good look, Buddy. UPDATE: I've attached more photos of severe threats over a couple hundred dollars I would've happily paid had he not disappeared for a month then called me out of the blue threatening collections then hung up on me when we got on the phone UPDATE: I've attached more photos of the two owners true colors. The company's quotes for pricing are complete and straightforward. I'm happy with the Happy Feet Rescue/Red Rocks that I selected, and it is holding up well under the toenails of my active 60-pound Weimaraner. It's also attractive and nice to walk on with bare feet. There was an incident during installation where my tv was dropped and broken, but Jesse came to my house to assess and intercede, and I felt that the company made it right. While my wife and I are happy with the quality of the carpet, but very disappointed with the installation. The carpet was cut differently in two of the three rooms up to the closet doors, leaving an unusual gap between the door and the carpet (see picture). Then in our master bedroom, the carpet was installed differently, which was laid underneath the closet doors. Looks much better (the way it should) but now neither of the closet doors will glide and close. After speaking with the Simply Floors team, they are unwilling to remedy or fix the issue, highlighting it was in the fine print of our contract. For the high-end price we paid per square foot, we were expecting to get one of the best carpet installers in town - we couldn't be more disappointed. Look elsewhere for carpet installation as other installers will stand by their work, and ensure a consistent, clean look throughout the house. To be clear, a quality installation would apply a consistent "look and feel" throughout the house. Especially as it relates to when the carpet transitions in each room, and in our case into closets. For us, the carpet transitions were installed one way in one room, and then another in other bedrooms - both incorrectly with one providing an incomplete look, and the other where our closet doors don't work. Very disappointing and frustrating. While the installer is attributing the difference from room to room as a flooring issue, but there is actually hardware floor throughout the entire upstairs bedrooms. The fact of the matter is the installer laid carpets to the closet doors one way, and then another in other rooms. The lack of skill and experience, especially for the cost, is disappointing and unfortunately the installer would fix the issue. Best to find another provider in the area. read more

I do not recommend working with this company. One thing was communicated at the sale and I ended up with a lot of additional work and expense after their job was "complete." I was asked if I wanted to purchase new baseboards or re-use mine. I asked to re-use in an effort to save money. The salesperson agreed that was a good choice and nothing else was said. Then the work was done and they had removed the baseboards and lowered them leaving a paint stripe around our home. I was never told that this would happen, and has never been mentioned as an option or happened to me when doing this work with other companies in the past. Rather than take responsibility for not communicating with me, they have continued to gaslight me and lie about it claiming it was discussed. I would clearly not have chosen an option requiring me to re-paint my home if it had been explained- I would have chosen to get taller baseboards which would have ultimately been cheaper. The best part is that the company was offering to 'help' without taking responsibility, but the 'help' would have made them more money. So I had already paid them to remove and reinstall the baseboard and then I could have paid them more to remove the baseboards again and reinstall bigger ones to cover the paint stripe. They were going to 'discount' that work though, and I still would have had to hire painters... Do yourself a favor and choose another company to work with. read more

I went with Simply Floors for replacing carpeted stairs/hallway with hardwood based upon their strong reviews. Unfortunately my experience was not as good as others. The Good: New floors match existing hardwood very well. Kristin did a good job here. The end product, albeit after many months and 3 install visits, looks nice. The Bad: Appointment Scheduling - The initial install was rescheduled 3x. We have dogs & I knew the install would be loud, so we coordinated with our work accordingly as we knew we wouldn't be able to take phone calls on those days. Cancelling and rescheduling these multiple times was unprofessional. I understand the supply chain issues in these times, but IMO, Simply Floors should only confirm installs once they actually have all of the product in hand. Installers - Communication & Cleanup - All 3 times the installers came to the house, they never gave a call with a heads up of their planned arrival time, despite the office telling me every time that I would get a heads up call. - The installers left a mess in our living room, see pictures. Same in our garage, where they decided to cut the wood even though we requested they be cut out front to reduce dust. Stair Noses Mismatch - When the install day finally came, they brought the wrong finish/color stair noses. How this is not checked before scheduling and install, or at least before leaving the warehouse and getting to the job site is lost on me. Visually seeing that these didn't match, the installers still proceeded to install the noses without consulting us, and then told us to call the office and deal with it (it was Friday afternoon, they left as fast as possible and clearly did not care). Pictures attached. - Weeks later, I was told the "correct" stair noses arrived. This is the 2nd install appointment. The installers arrived with 1 box of matching wood and 1 non-matching box containing a hand-scraped finish. They installed what they could from the 1 correct box and so now we needed a 3rd appointment weeks later to finish the rest. - On the 3rd visit the installers came to the house around 9am only to inform me he does not have the material and he'd be right back. Then why show up at all? He showed up hours later at 3pm and finished the job. No updates in between. I had to call their office to see if this guy was ever coming back. Final thoughts: - While I understand current supply chain issues, the entire experience could have been handled better by the office and the various installers. Rather than having multiple install appointments to remedy the situation, they could have been more proactive about ensuring all of the installation materials were on hand in the first place (and all of the same wood!) & the installers could have communicated better and cleaned up after themselves. This unnecessarily wasted a lot of work days for us. I did receive a roughly 6% discount in the end, but that did not make up for the subpar experience. read more

One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with, we were sold a luxury vinyl flooring we have had problems from day, one with the installation and the product. We had the corner of coming up. We have the flooring lifting. Yes, they did come out and did repairs, but it was an ongoing thing for two years. We contacted the owner and she was very rude to us very rude! Instead of helping us trying to resolve our problems, she just hung up on us on the phone and said we're done with you very very rude. We will never recommend simply floors to any of our family and friends. FYI stay away from this company. read more

I'm updating my review after the owner Buddy and project manager Dana stepped up to ensure my flooring project was completed in a way that met my expectations and also made up for the issues that were encountered along the way. Their communication at that point was extremely consistent and informative, and I really appreciated their efforts. My stairs were tricky with a curved wall on one part and an exposed side all the way down. Buddy went so far as to provide a different product for the stairs that was more appropriate (and more expensive) than what I originally picked out in order to do the project right. He even brought someone in to straighten out the half wall so the flooring could be installed properly, all on his own dime. I so appreciate what Buddy and Dana did to make things right with this project. I also love the product they picked out after what I'm guessing was hours of effort to find something that would work and also match the flooring in my lower level. I plan to have the same flooring installed for my upper level and will definitely be using Simply Floors again. I understand that mistakes and missteps happen and the fact that this company owed up to theirs and went so above and beyond to correct everything really blew me away. Wow unbelievable. Buddy spoke to me over the phone. I told him that I was buying a new build and that it's cheaper to put in the flooring by a contractor. He spent a large amount of time explaining the process and what he needs from me to do it. He gave me a ballpark figure of 5k-7k. I told him to have KB home do it would cost a bit over $10k. Despite putting himself out of a job, he told me that it would actually be cheaper to save the cash and have KB home do it and roll it into the mortgage. That's just good honest advice, and I don't know any business that would be that up front and honest. That's really just one person trying to help out another. You may find this review unhelpful in terms of quality of work, but it defines their customer service and likely their willingness to do what is right. read more

From Jen coming to our home with samples so we could decide which flooring to the flawless fast installation I would totally recommend Simply Floors for any flooring project you have. We replaced carpet, linoleum and hardwood with Luxury Vinyl Plank in May 2019 and we love it. It's easy to clean and feels and looks like hardwood. It can get wet and we don't have to worry about it ruining wood. The installers were nice and replaced about 900 square feet in a half day. We are in the process of getting our floors done today. I have read all the reviews and had been apprehensive on the quality of work and communication regarding the installers. We are just an hour and a half into the process and already the communication offered by the Forman Daniel has been nothing but superb. He has been meticulous to catch any possible issues with our subfloor and staircase. These issues have been promptly brought to our attention, along with offering solutions. This is the second time we have used Simply Floors. The first time wàs 5 years ago when they installed laminate. They did a fantastic job and the floors look every bit as good as the day they were installed. When we decided to put in carpet on the other 2 remaining floors, we decided to contact them again. This reply perfectly demonstrates the problem. The lies in the response are incredible really. I was 20 min late due to a snowstorm the night before. When I arrived I was told Kristin, my sales person, had left since I was late and did not call. I don't call when navigating an icy highway. The person I was scheduled with, ironically was "a different Kristin" standing in front of me, Kristin Mayo, lying that "there are 2 Kristins". Never found evidence that was true. I said "WTF" when I was told I would need to reschedule because I was late. I did NOT cuss her out. I said "WTF" to the situation that she said i needed to reschedule. She was in the showroom alone with no other customers. As I was about to walk out due to HER rudeness she said "I can help you until my appt arrives at 10:30". It was 9:20am. In case anyone knows old houses they are actually built better than new ones. My solid oak door casings arer far from "fragile" and cutting flooring to go around these was unacceptable. Trimming the casings for flooring is standard practice. Buddy said as much. Never even met the woman that replied but surely that was a play to my woman owned comment. And never did I say that other companies refused to work on my house, what I said was I didn't want a rando contractor from Angie's List and preferred a company. I am contracting with Denver Carpet and Flooring that has better pricing for install and my old house was zero issue. I'm guessing the truth is unless you have a newer larger sq foot house your not worth their time. Another review mentioned as such about Kristin and it the same sales person. I guess it all comes down to who's story someone looking at reviews wants to trust. Just check your sq footage, verify the contract and get additional quotes from other places. read more
