Who knew I liked cool ass old cars so much?? On a wild hair, the handsome one and I decided we might want to buy a cool ass old car together. Either that or maybe a motorcycle but a cool ass old car is more of a 365 day a year toy and a bike is more of a fair weather toy. Long story short, we found the Classic Car Liquidator website and lo and behold, it was just up the highway in Sherman. Well! We made an appointment and off we went. The cool ass old car we had in mind from the website wasn't the one when we got there. It was a little more of a project than we were looking to take on, so we walked the warehouses and perused the inventory to see what else we may have missed. The warehouses are just like in the photos... clean, well lit, lots of cool ass old cars with prices on them. We looked a bit and then it was like a little light from the heavens shone on the car we decided to buy-- a 1972 Chevelle. The car is in great shape. Our salesguy, Clay, was awesome and honest. He is a no-bullshitter and knowing we wanted something we could tinker with but could be driven off the lot, he said this was a great car. And it IS. We have had it for about a month and we are in love. We've replaced the shocks, radio and speakers, spark plugs, worked on the timing (we being Ben and me being the one looking cute handing him the screwdriver- calling it "the flat one" or "the one that looks like a star" because I've never figured out which is "phillips head"), and now it's running really great. Just a few afternoons of tinkerin' and we got ourselves a great cool ass old car. I haven't been on a trip in it when someone hasn't said something to us or truckers honk and wave or O'Reily Auto Parts fellas drool over it. It's fun. I wold have been more leery to buy a cool ass old car from a person, but Classic Car Liquidators eased my mind completely. They have a 2 week money back guarantee. You don't like it? Bring it back and they will sell it for you or let you trade it in on another car. What kind of place does that?? Every person we delt with was super cool, no pressure but keep in mind, they're still moving lots of cars so you've got to make your mind up and do it fast before someone on ebay or the phone buys it out from under you. I would TOTALLY recommend CCL if you are considering buying a cool ass old car.

We offer two large indoor showrooms and an average inventory of more than 130 vehicles.

Classic Car Liquidators has a staff that is really focused on providing excellent service. From full disclosure about the classic vehicle on the website, video and audio and inspection of the cars, they do a great job providing accurate information. What I love about CCL is their "no pressure" sales staff. They allow you to check out two large indoor showrooms of cars, open doors, sit inside them, pop the hood... If you need help or have questions, they are ready to give you a hand.

We met a salesman who did not introduce himself, but had only been in a business a couple weeks. I was undecided on what trim level I wanted so I wanted to compare them and he did bring up the two different trim levels, which I was comparing. We decided on a car and wanted to get pricing on leasing. The salesman told us that the price was discounted to around $47,000. It is even advertise on their website for that price a discount about $4300 off MSRP. When the salesman came out with the " four square" or the pricing details, the sales manager only discounted was $500. And of course they added a bunch of BS stuff such as an extended warranty. Which absolutely makes no sense when you're leasing the car for three years. Which add almost another $4000. When I asked about the pricing he gave us he said he was mistake possibly. Mistaken.? it's on your website. When we said we are way too far away he got up and he had a temper tantrum and crumbled up a piece of paper. We walked out and I will never ever go to that dealership again. Don't waste your time to go into the dealership who advertise a price, but not stand behind that price!

Tyler reassured me that the team would do everything they could to make it happen. Even though I wasn't able to make my initial appointment, Tyler stayed in touch and worked with me over the phone--his dedication made all the difference. Ultimately, I decided to make the drive, and I'm so glad I did! Tyler and the entire team were incredible, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience. I drove home in the car I wanted and couldn't be happier. Hands down, the best car-buying experience I've ever had! *****Side note***** the dealership looks freshly remodeled. So, ignore the old pics here. Look them up on google maps
