I'm reviewing from a very neutral standpoint. The place is average at best. For their service - make sure you're open to wait (especially if employees call off), ask the person handling the service how long the estimated wait will be. He's usually spot on. Quality -- it's a big hit or miss. Don't be shy to ask them to wipe or suction missed spots. They're average in general in terms of quality cleaning. Most do their best though. Prices -- like everything else, cost has gone up. If you're driving EV, you'll pay more because it's all hand wash. Decent amount of chairs in their waiting area and a convenient store within the premise. I must confess that there was major disappointment when Cruisers Car Wash, on Tampa by the Costco, shut its doors. Furthermore, it gave way to another company, that did not have the same level of car care, as themselves. Actually, there was no reason to despair. Classic Car Wash, at Reseda and Devonshire, also a full service car wash, a much closer option, was waiting for me. So it was time to visit and give it a try. At the onset, there are several aspects of this place that deserve mention, for a newcomer. For one, unlike Cruisers, it is difficult to get in and out, because of its location, at the intersection of two very busy streets. Secondly, there are no signs, which side do you enter from, which side do you exit, Devonshire or Reseda? When you get in for the first time, it is a challenge to get the ball rolling, no drive in directions, where to park, who do you talk to? Monday-Wednesday, they have a $26 special that includes vacuuming, the basic wash, waxing and hand drying by an attendant. On other days, it is $30, the same stuff but no waxing. You have to sit outside while your car is worked on. A good reminder to enjoy the heat, during the summer in California. What is wonderful here, is the selection of music that is blaring at high volume. They are all oldies, excellent selections, and it makes you forget where you are, and that lack of indoor seating. This was my first time here. The final drying by the attendant missed a glaring area, but he fixed it after I pointed it out. Overall, not bad for a first time. However, I could not help observing that that this car wash has very low ratings and discouraging customer reviews. For me, customer service provided an ambivalent experience. In my case, I also had a new car, less than a couple of months old and still so clean. So, it may be the wrong time to really evaluate the true prowess, and expertise, of this full service car wash. read more

Don't get fooled by the different packages. I asked for a deluxe and observed every car is getting the wax and sealant. I asked the guy who wrote the ticket, he said everyone gets both the wax and sealant. I proceeded to ask him why did I pay $2 more, he contradicted himself literally in few seconds!!! I wish I could leave minus stars. This is the only time I have felt compelled to take time out my day to right a review for a place, good or bad. I paid $50 for a hand wash the first time I came here, and I specified certain things for them to focus on. the quality was subpar. When I picked up my car I couldn't believe that's what $50 got me. I was offered to rewash it again for free of charge but I didn't have time nor did I want to go back the next day so I let it go. Months have passed and I got my car washed there again a few weeks ago. I specified that my model of car accumulates a lot of break dust and for them to really focus on the rims. Again, I paid for one of the more expensive hand wash packages, and again, when I picked up the car it looked horrible. Both times I had one "manager" - I'm not sure if he actually is or isn't - be extremely rude and aggressive with me and basically dismiss me, both times another manager who could actually communicate came over to rectify the situation. He had let me know this time the reasoning as to why what I wanted to be done couldn't be done in one wash and I completely understood, what I was upset on was why I wasn't explained anything in the beginning. I could've avoided all of the issues and Perhaps I would've said it wasn't worth it to get the car washed anymore, perhaps I would've, but either way my expectations would be have been managed and it would've been my choice. They chose not to tell me prior to getting the car wash even though I was specific in what I was wanting and expecting. Today, just now, I took my car in again. There was scurrying around visibly at who was going to come to my car, which already pissed me off, and when someone did come I asked for the wash I wanted and was handed a ticket. The man told me "we'll do our best" and I said "ok sounds good" and he responds "yea because I don't want you to start complaining" I said EXCUSE ME? I asked that's how you speak to customers? And his response was "yea you always cause issues and the management and the owner said to refuse you actually" I said "what are you talking about?" His response was "the owners check the cameras everyday" if that's the case why are you taking my car? Nothing added up. I told him to make that comment was completely uncalled for and he was extremely dismissive and when I said I don't want to get my car washed anymore he shrugged his shoulders like it didn't matter to him. When I asked for Information to speak to management I was told to go inside, when I got inside I was told to ask the same men from outside. The unprofessional run around. Finally the woman inside told me she's new, and only works weekends so she doesn't know any phone numbers or have any information and to call the woman who typically works during the week. Completely unprofessional and I'm pretty sure a lie. I come online to Leave this review and see their yelp standing - figures. I have never seen such a bad yelp score on a business. It's as if they don't care how they talk or treat people because customers will always go to this carwash and the business will still run out of convenience, but the service they give and how they treat customers is extremely unprofessional and upsetting. I visited the car wash today for a standard wash. My car is a bit more stubborn and has had some spots I have found difficult to get out, so I figured I'd take it to the professionals. I mentioned my problem to the service writer and he informed me that the full service would be $250, not an abnormal price for a service like this and something I am willing to pay, but I asked if he was able to test with anything before hand, or ask the technician to test a small spot on the car to see if he could remove the spots, he refused that and said I needed to pay full price regardless if he got the spots out or not. I know there is a labor factor involved there too, so I asked to pay for the labor of the testing. He refused that and stayed firm on the $250. So I refused that service, sticking only with the standard wash. In the future, I will not return here, and recommend you do the same if you have any investigative labor you would like done. To be clear, the technicians and actual laborers, not the notepad wielding person I spoke to, are fantastic and should not be held to the same standard. read more

Decided to finally get a full car wash after just doing drive thru for the longest time. The one I used to go to closed and turned into a drive thru one as well right after Covid. Came here on the weekend and was surprised that we were able to drive up immediately. I was expecting a lot of people for a Sunday morning! I went for just a regular which includes cleaning/vacuuming the inside and a full outside wash. Didn't really inspect it since it was super hot out and had food I needed to take home to my mom. Got home and was sad to see that my door handles were still very dirty, like they didn't even bother. My bf also got his washed but mine was the only one parked out meaning it was ready. He waited a bit longer for his and I went home. Texted him 10 min later and he still didn't see his car anywhere. Finally he walked around to see if he could see it anywhere and one of the workers said it was ready but parked in another lot. That was suuuuper odd. Why didn't anyone tell him and where is this other lot? So weird! It's honestly also kind of a pricey spot for a regular wash so I wish they would've at least thoroughly cleaned it all. If I can give zero stars I would this car wash thinks it is the best car wash around but I've been coming here for about 1 year now and let me tell you I've been to more car washes then anyone I know from bad to the best and this place is the very worse place to come to and I am not going back ever even if they reduce my car over again with out charging me. If there was a method available NOT to give any stars, that would have been ideal. Classic Car Wash is a fraud and a joke of business. They did the most horrendous cleaning/wash on my son's car. I sent my son to this carwash because, to my knowledge, it is the only full-service carwash left in our Northridge/Porter Ranch neighborhood since the one located by Costco is no longer full service. My son paid for the Deluxe Carwash plus the tip, which ended up being over $40. When my son got home, he showed me the multiple spots they missed, the water that they did not dry off, and the unvacuumed mats. We drove straight back to the carwash. I went up to the guy who was writing up the cars and asked to speak to a manager. He told me to speak with this other guy named Jesse that he pointed to. I asked Jesse if he was the manager, but I could not get a straight answer. Jesse could have cared less, and although he took my son's money, he wanted nothing to do with me complaining about the inadequate car wash. He did not care that I pulled out the mat in front of him and that leaves and dirt fell onto the floor. He did not want to hear loose tree leaves were left on the hood of the car, and that the matss were not properly vacuumed, or that the car was not wiped down and water was left to run down. Jesse mostly ignored me. I asked him to clean the car again. He said that he would not. I said that I was going to write a review about how awful the service was, and he told me to go ahead and write it that no one would read it. Jesse then proceeded to tell me that the dirt on the vehicle could not be removed. This was a lie because in front of him, I was able to remove it with a simple wipe. He said the mats were vacuumed. Jesse said that if I wanted a better cleaning that I should have paid for a detail. I asked for the name of the guy writing up the cars because he also ignored everything I said and told me that I should pay for a detail. He said that I already had Jesse's name, so he did not have to give me his name. I should have read the reviews prior to sending my son to this carwash. They only have 1.7 stars, and it is extremely clear why they have such low ratings. We are a family of four with six vehicles, and we are going to begin paying for an at home carwash service. This is the worst car wash in all of Los Angeles. If you want to wash your car and dry it all over again after you leave then please come here because they do an awful job. The poor workers that dry the cars are completely understaffed. There's 5-6 other workers standing around to vacuum doing absolutely nothing but your car will sit in the hot sun for over an hour without being worked on because there's not enough of them to do that part of the job. And the manager Ignacio could care less and is incredibly rude. Who's the owner of this place? How do you run a business like this?
