If there was a method available NOT to give any stars, that would have been ideal. Classic Car Wash is a fraud and a joke of business. They did the most horrendous cleaning/wash on my son's car. I sent my son to this carwash because, to my knowledge, it is the only full-service carwash left in our Northridge/Porter Ranch neighborhood since the one located by Costco is no longer full service. My son paid for the Deluxe Carwash plus the tip, which ended up being over $40. When my son got home, he showed me the multiple spots they missed, the water that they did not dry off, and the unvacuumed mats. We drove straight back to the carwash. I went up to the guy who was writing up the cars and asked to speak to a manager. He told me to speak with this other guy named Jesse that he pointed to. I asked Jesse if he was the manager, but I could not get a straight answer. Jesse could have cared less, and although he took my son's money, he wanted nothing to do with me complaining about the inadequate car wash. He did not care that I pulled out the mat in front of him and that leaves and dirt fell onto the floor. He did not want to hear loose tree leaves were left on the hood of the car, and that the matss were not properly vacuumed, or that the car was not wiped down and water was left to run down. Jesse mostly ignored me. I asked him to clean the car again. He said that he would not. I said that I was going to write a review about how awful the service was, and he told me to go ahead and write it that no one would read it. Jesse then proceeded to tell me that the dirt on the vehicle could not be removed. This was a lie because in front of him, I was able to remove it with a simple wipe. He said the mats were vacuumed. Jesse said that if I wanted a better cleaning that I should have paid for a detail. I asked for the name of the guy writing up the cars because he also ignored everything I said and told me that I should pay for a detail. He said that I already had Jesse's name, so he did not have to give me his name. I should have read the reviews prior to sending my son to this carwash. They only have 1.7 stars, and it is extremely clear why they have such low ratings. We are a family of four with six vehicles, and we are going to begin paying for an at home carwash service. Decided to finally get a full car wash after just doing drive thru for the longest time. The one I used to go to closed and turned into a drive thru one as well right after Covid. Came here on the weekend and was surprised that we were able to drive up immediately. I was expecting a lot of people for a Sunday morning! I went for just a regular which includes cleaning/vacuuming the inside and a full outside wash. Didn't really inspect it since it was super hot out and had food I needed to take home to my mom. Got home and was sad to see that my door handles were still very dirty, like they didn't even bother. My bf also got his washed but mine was the only one parked out meaning it was ready. He waited a bit longer for his and I went home. Texted him 10 min later and he still didn't see his car anywhere. Finally he walked around to see if he could see it anywhere and one of the workers said it was ready but parked in another lot. That was suuuuper odd. This is the worst car wash in all of Los Angeles. If you want to wash your car and dry it all over again after you leave then please come here because they do an awful job. The poor workers that dry the cars are completely understaffed. There's 5-6 other workers standing around to vacuum doing absolutely nothing but your car will sit in the hot sun for over an hour without being worked on because there's not enough of them to do that part of the job. We got our car washed here today and when we left the car with them, on with the keys in the ignition per their instructions, our radio was working perfectly fine. When we got back in the car the radio is not working whatsoever, the clock and everything is out. We came back to try and get some resolution, to which the supervisor "Jesse V." Was extremely rude and short , he responds with "Well we're a car wash, we don't do anything that has to do with the radio", he shrugged and walked away and went to gossip with the other employees. The broken radio has to do directly with the car wash, there's no other reason it would be broken, and someone is being dishonest and trying to push the responsiblity of a broken radio that was perfectly fine when we left the car with them into us. I've been here before, and last time, they did an amazing job. I gave them five stars easy. This time not so much! I had to have them redo or do, however you look at it, the wheel well area (went through mud), which they said they would power wash.. they didn't. The guy gave no excuses, only results in doing it, so for that, I'm appreciative. I asked to make sure they vacuumed under my husky protective mats, and he said yes. We looked at the rear hatch area... they did not. He did do it, though. I should have checked the entire car. I went next door to park so I could take pictures and post this review. What did I find? They didn't vacuum under any of my mats. I went back, and they fixed it. It's great they fixed it..... BUT in reality, should they have to? NO! Do it right the first time, and then there is no fixing anything. As stated in my pictures, they were very lackluster in my wheels. They left the nut/bolt area and around the valve dirty. A quick swipe (which I did with a wet wipe) would have been all it needed. I know I'm kind of picky, but that's why I came here. They did awesome last time. I don't live close, but when I'm here, I thought I'd use them because I can get a mani/pedi (see Divas Nails review) next door. I probably will try here again. After all, right now, we're batting 50/50, so next time will be the tie breaker. Truthfully, this place doesn't get the best reviews.... but I really liked them the first time and even with all the errors this time..... they do give good customer service. They own up to what they did wrong and will fix it. I gave a 3 star this time because even though they fixed stuff..... it shouldn't have needed it. I haven't reviewed a business in a long time, but am compelled after what I just experienced. I paid $45 for a hand wash. The exterior looked good, as did the interior, at first glance. There were a couple little things I had to wipe off, but I've found that's usually the case with any wash (not a detail). I didn't "inspect" the job done in my backseat or trunk, which was my mistake. Upon arriving home I went to reseat my son's booster seat. When I did I noticed the area hadn't been cleaned or even vacuumed. Note this is a booster seat and very easily moved. The mat under his seat was still filled with food crumbs, dirt, etc., and behind his seat obviously hadn't been touched. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. For $45 (plus I tipped! ), I expect the seats to AT LEAST be vacuumed. Never coming back and I recommend others avoid this car wash, as well. What a waste of time and money! read more
