STAY AWAY - My Brand New 2026 Toyota Tundra Was Damaged TWICE I had been coming to Blue Wash Express Car Wash in Reseda for years without any major issues. Because I had always had a good experience there, I recently brought my brand-new 2026 Toyota Tundra to be washed. During my first visit, nobody warned me that I should fold the mirrors or that the wash equipment could be an issue for a wider truck. Right at the end of the wash, one of the large plastic blower flaps slammed aggressively into my passenger-side mirror, folding it in and leaving scratches on the mirror housing. I immediately called over one of the employees. He was very apologetic, tried to buff the scratches out with wax (without much success), and even told me they would take responsibility if anything further was needed. Since it seemed like an unfortunate one-time incident, I decided to let it go. Unfortunately, it wasn't. The second time I came back, I remembered what had happened and made sure to fold my mirrors before entering the wash, even though no employee mentioned it. I thought that would prevent any problems. Instead, near the end of the wash I heard another loud impact from the equipment on the same passenger side of my truck. When I got out, I found scratches on the rear right passenger-side door. Again, one of the employees apologized, documented everything, and told me that because there was no manager on site, someone would contact me no later than the following day. Nobody called. Nobody emailed. After waiting two days, I called and left a message. A day later, the manager, Rafael, finally returned my call. Instead of trying to help, he immediately questioned my claim and asked why I hadn't taken pictures of my truck before entering the wash. I suggested he simply review the security camera footage from the exact time of the incident, where the impact should be clearly visible. He agreed to review it and call me back. Again, no call. I eventually returned to the location to speak with Rafael in person. He refused to show me the camera footage from the passenger-side angle, refused to accept any responsibility, and offered absolutely no solution. Instead, he blamed me for not having "before" photos of my vehicle and even told me that he personally photographs his own car before every car wash, implying that I should have done the same. This is a brand-new truck that had no scratches or damage before visiting this car wash. It has now been damaged on two separate visits! If you care about keeping your vehicle in good condition--especially if you own a truck or larger vehicle--I strongly recommend staying away from this place. Mistakes can happen anywhere, but refusing to take responsibility, failing to follow up, and blaming the customer is unacceptable. I won't be coming back. read more

Used our local drive-thru car wash for +2years but after today's wash they completely scratched the roof's paint terribly. You get what you pay for. Unfortunate this happened at one of our frequent spots. Very disappointing experience at Blue Car Wash Express (Reseda). My 2014 BMW X3 was in excellent condition before the wash, but my driver-side mirror was damaged during the wash and left hanging. An employee taped it and told me to contact the manager, Raphael. I tried to resolve the issue directly, but he did not take responsibility, offered no solution, and stopped responding. A replacement mirror was arranged, but it turned out to be a cheaper, incorrect version that does not match my original (my car had a power-folding mirror, and now it does not). I also paid for installation expecting the correct part. Now I am left paying again to fix something that was damaged at their facility. First, I did not refuse to provide the details of my mirror. I was asked for the model and year of my car, and when I was about to provide the necessary information, I was told it was no longer needed. The damage occurred during the car wash, not due to "natural wear and tear." A side mirror does not simply break under normal conditions unless external force is involved. Third, while I understand you refer to disclaimers, this does not change the fact that the damage happened at your facility. Offering to purchase a replacement part does not resolve the issue if the wrong part was ordered without confirming the correct specifications with me. At this point, I am not asking for anything unreasonable. I am simply requesting that the correct part be provided, as originally intended, so my vehicle can be restored to its proper condition. I would prefer to resolve this matter directly and professionally without escalating it further. However, the current outcome--being left with the wrong part and additional costs--is not acceptable. I have a new car, so I love washing my car a lot. For under $30 a month, I am able to go through their car wash as much as I want. They also have some other added extras- that after you get your car washed by the automatic car wash machine, you have a place out there where you can use the self vacuum or even better they have a high pressure air gun that you can go around and get all the spots off of your car as it dries. It's especially great for the rear view mirrors and my new shiny rims. The employees are very helpful, and Cruz is very professional and friendly. I have the deluxe package, so it's an extra amount of money per month, but it also includes having my wheels Armoralled by Cruz. I highly recommend this car wash. read more

I have been a member over a year and very frequently, the compressed air does not work. When you have a car with a lot of crevices, this is very frustrating since as soon as I drive away, water starts dripping and leaving drop marks on my car. No machine is perfect, and dismissing a customer's experience rather than acknowledging the possibility of an issue doesn't build trust. If there is "no record," that may point to a gap in your tracking system -- not that the visit didn't happen. At this point, the goal isn't to argue. The goal is accountability. The air hoses almost never work, and the vacuums are very weak. The rotating brushes also get too close to the car and flip the side mirrors forward every time. In the past, one of the employees had a really bad attitude, although I haven't seen him there lately. read more

I had a very disappointing experience here today that led me to cancel my membership. I pulled up to the gate using my membership, but the machine would not open. Since there was a line of cars behind me and I was holding everyone up, I honked to get assistance from an employee. Instead of helping, one of the male employees yelled at me, "CAN'T YOU SEE WE ARE BUSY? YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO FIGURE IT OUT YOURSELF." That response was completely unnecessary and unprofessional. As a paying member, I was simply asking for help because the gate was not working. A female employee eventually came over to assist me and even she had trouble understanding why the gate wasn't opening since my membership was active. After finally getting through, I went into the office and spoke with Rafael and asked to cancel my membership. At that point I no longer felt comfortable continuing to give my business to a place where a customer asking for help is treated this way. The micro vacuum wasn't working today but that's fine. Pretty good value for a quick basic car wash exterior and DIY cleaning inside. There's a monthly plan if you want to come here regularly. They probably won't let you swap that plan for multiple cars though. read more

I've been coming here for about a year now and the experience has been great. It's a pretty quick experience for me and everything has worked out well. There were a few times when the machine would stop while inside but after a few moments it did turn back on again. After turning into the wash and when you come to the pay station there is always an employee on duty usually to help with things in case and they give you a dashboard wipe. I believe the machine is card only. Selections on wash include three options: Bronze ($10, currently), Gold ($15, currently), Platinum (18$, currently). They have a monthly membership plan should you choose to enroll. After paying and going through the wash, you should get out to do some extra drying and to clean/vacuum (vacuums work well) the inside of your vehicle. There are some machines where you can buy certain wipes and cloths in case. I'd recommend to have a dry cloth on hand so you don't always have to buy one however. read more

I've been coming to this car wash for a year and never had to wait for a spot to vacuum my car... and this was the day I really needed to vacuum my car, but unfortunately, every spot was taken. I gave it another minute, not wanting to block anyone in or cause trouble for the person behind me...but no one moved! Over 20 spots and no one getting out? Was leaving on a trip to SF and wanted to get the car washed and treat it with some wax to protect it for the trip. Came here with my fiancée and she hasn't been to many car washes. This is her second time and it's fun to watch her act like a kid while we go through the car wash. It was easy to select the kind of wash we wanted and paid with a credit card. Then we proceeded to the car wash and the wash started. My fiancée was excited as there were flashing lights and different colors of foam landing on the car. We were able to make it through the car wash and then stopped in the vacuum area to clean the inside of the car too. Nice place. I'll be back again read more

A female employee went to our pay screen to help. Normally I welcome the assistance. The screens are usually higher than my car's window. The car in front of us seemed to have an issue too, which is why 4 cars snuck through on the adjacent pay screen before we could complete our payment. She taps our card on the screen and leaves before the lever rises and lets us through. We wait, it doesn't go up. We get an error message on the screen. Still, more cars go by and we're stuck. I try to track her down, it takes another 2 minutes. She comes back and says, "What happened?" Like we did something wrong. She was annoyed and acted like we were a major hassle. This attitude is fitting for someone working at a job that leads nowhere, but truth? I didn't put you there, so don't take it out on me. I see this all around...there's a millennial vibe of those whose parents worked real hard just to have their kids work at a car wash and not know what customer service and hard work looks like. When I was her age I worked two jobs, 7 days a week and did it with a smile. I never EVER got passive aggressive with a customer. Just say sorry for the trouble and move on. The car wash itself is fine, no better than the $6 one off Vanowen near Woodman. I just happened to be in Reseda today. So happy they're down the street from me. They've been open for a few months and they usually have a promo going on. The platinum wash is $15 and I really like going when they have mail-in coupons for $5 off. The platinum wash has drying included which is nice. They have a few tools when you're drying your car. You can hang your car mats, use the suction to get the dirt in your car. They now added mini super air blowers to get rid of dirt in crevices like the air vent. For the most part the employees direct you when you are entering the car wash. I have an SUV so they tape the back wiper and use soap & water to get the cleaning started on the back window. There was one time when I came here and the employee did not guide me at all nor wet the back. That was a terrible visit. read more
