They are not even worth one star! Called and talked on phone with person to set appointment for my car. They are open on Saturday and made it for 9. They even sent me a text at 8 am confirming the appointment in an hour. Car was badly damaged from deer so it was difficult and dangerous to drive but I made it there. They were NOT OPEN! Only one guy there cleaning up. Knocked on door and he did not have a clue on anything! This is after a verbal and text confirmation ONE hour before appointment!!! It was very difficult driving the car back home. Told Safeco insurance the whole story and to not recommend anymore. Was able to go to Gerber auto body. They were there!!! Hit and run last year and MARTA scratch this year. Last year, based on insurance listing, I went to them and they took longer than estimated. But work was great. So this year, I went to them hoping to get same kind of work. They say they did the initial work, then left my car with the dealer for alignment FOR TWO WEEKS no work, and I ended up paying out of pocket for rental because of those two wasted weeks. Then, Classic Collision took my car to another shop, who removed sound actuator (why? apparently a safety thing!!) and to stop my bleed due to rental car situation, CC asked me to pay for the "work" and returned without sound actuator. This was more than 10 days ago, despite repeated reminders, they are still waiting for the same dealer (who took 2 weeks) to get them sound actuator. In the meanwhile I have already paid. read more

I met my Geico rep at Classic Collision and liked that she sits onsite. Initially, the walk around estimate gave a four day repair job. The receptionist was very friendly, she called Enterprise car rental to come pick me up. I met with Justin who checked my car in and told me that I would get updates every step of the way. I was contacted by Megan who was my contact the rest of the way. She sent me text updates and called when she had questions. The repair date was changed from four days to 10 days (not including weekends because I think they are closed). My car ended up taking 9 days to repair and when I picked it up, it was restored back to the pre-accident condition. I was extremely happy with the service of everyone at Classic Collision, especially Megan; she really kept me in the loop on my repairs. read more

I cannot urge people enough to go elsewhere...anywhere else. I took my car here in June, they had it for a month...totally fine. I knew that was how long it would take. They didn't fix all of the issues that I told them about. Melissa tried to tell me that I never told her, but I am sure I brought it up when going over my car...as I knew it was not something visible. They said they will fix, but it did require me to come back up to the shop. I have had to bring my car back multiple times and it is still not fixed. Every time I have taken it in it comes back not fixed or something else broken. I have to chase them down (Melissa) to even get a response (when she even responds). They sent a mobile electronic company to my house and he said he could fix this final issue if they would order the new antenna needed. Melissa has not responded to my multiple emails regarding this, and she is not responding to the electronic guy either. He has even reached out to her and he offered that he would fix it so I don't have to deal with this place and going up there...again. It is 30 minutes from my house, but I picked this location over others due to good reviews. I really hope this is a one-off experience. But I genuinely wish I had taken my car elsewhere. It is now November and my car is still not back to where it was prior to my accident in June. read more

Do yourself a favor and ask for 'SHAWN KING' at Classic Coll. Alpharetta location. I had a great experience with my collision claim on my white 2010 Honda Accord.  I was notified via email by the Classic Collision team during each phase of the process. I receive the first message stating that my car was in the body work phase then another mess when my car was in the paint phase.  Just recently, I had a missing bracket from  front fender.  I stopped by to inform CC team of missing part, Todd Helms immediately ordered bracket and promised that I would get a call when part arrive; however, I  ended up reaching out to Shawn King who went above and beyond my expectations!  I was really impressed with how Shawn handled from the minute I reached out to him after hours using cell # on bus. card. Thanks to Shawn, my bracket repair was taken care of the next day and completed in less than a 15 min visit. Not using my real name; scared they will do more harm to me. Watch the response from the shop, it will be passive aggressive and snarky. Disappointed with the behavior of the service advisor. Irresponsible and lied. Did not follow thru and only said things to make it sound as though the work had been done but it hadn't. He did not check the work and follow a checklist. He inconvenienced us causing us a further loss. He is quick to shove rules into your face and verbally strong arm you; not a place to trust when you are dealing with accidents and insurance claims. The last thing you need is a service advisor blowing smoke up the tush when everything is seriously not ok. When you point out the mistake you get a response of " what do you mean?" " oh I wouldn't know how to make an intelligent decision on that, never happened before," etc etc. They try and deny and do not take responsibility. They want the money and you are out. After that they call you to get top stars for their survey so they can make their year end bonus. Lies from the service advisor behind is rubbing off on the front desk girl. read more

Honestly not great. This was the only collision center my insurance would allow me to take my car to after my 2015 Acadia Denali got rear ended. I felt as if I couldn't ask questions about the process of getting my car fixed. Was told I would get an update 2 days after I dropped off my car. Waited a WEEK and heard nothing. Had banged up the front right of my Genesis G80 and have taken previous vehicles here before and had a very good experience. I almost wanted to cry when I heard that my Mazda 3 was hit from behind. Not only because it was in near-mint condition but also because I've had to deal with insurance-based repairs in the past. We have Geico, but the person at fault had State Farm. Because I am new to the state, I wanted to get the repairs done through the Mazda Dealership (Rick Case). They don't have a in house body shop so they sent out the work to Classic Collision in Alpharetta. The gentleman that was working on our case was Jeff Boyd. I cannot believe how quick and painless he made the entire process! The vehicle had been there just over a week and Jeff from CC contacted me almost every other day to give a heads up on what was going on. The facility was not typical of a body shop (metal chairs surrounding a 13" TV with year old magazines and a coffee machine). The lobby reminds me more of a doctor's office. We sat for about 5 minutes while our vehicle was getting cleaned and waxed. The staff was very attentive. I was very surprised at the work that was done on my vehicle. I was skeptical and checked every nook and cranny for misalignment of the panels, over spray or any other signs of repair. We were in and out within 15 minutes! The collision center had an Enterprise rental car waiting for me when I arrived. Meaghan checked in my vehicle and kept me updated every day by text. My car was fixed and waiting for me fours day earlier than the estimated date. I walked into the lobby, gave the receptionist my name and was driving home within fifteen minutes. They returned the rental car to Enterprise for me. I've never had such efficient and professional service at a collision center ever. I would NOT recommend Classic Collision in Alpharetta (or any of their locations, for that matter) to ANYONE. The quality of their customer service and communication is severely lacking. Where they're lacking even more is in their COMPLETE disregard to uphold their "lifetime warranty" and in their lackadaisical approach toward the safety of their customers. I was in an accident in early December. My case was handled by Danny, whom I would also NOT deem qualified to handle any cases - it took TWO MONTHS to finally get my car back. The VERY NEXT day (after I drove off the lot) my car blew a head gasket. Considering the fact that they had just replaced my radiator and did other extensive/expensive auto "repairs", fixing my head gasket should be included in their "lifetime warranty" guarantee, right? Not only did they let me drive off their lot in a vehicle they reassured me was safe to drive, they are now demanding I pay for what should be included in my warranty. During the original repairs, Classic Collision knew I was considering another vehicle. They quoted me the total cost to fix the ENTIRE car, and I moved forward with the repairs under the presumption that their quote was accurate. They now claim the additional head gasket blowing is preexisting, my fault, and are trying to charge me for parts that I did not request be ordered, BECAUSE I WILL NO LONGER DO BUSINESS HERE. The incompetence and crookery has been a nightmare. read more

Had an Appt set up through my insurance agent. On the day of the Appt I received a call from them about the appointment. I confirmed again my Appt time of 11:30. When I arrived at the location I was told that the individual who handles claims for my insurance was "off the premises and wouldn't return this week". So, after rearranging everything to be at this Appt, and confirming the time, I am told I need to rearrange another day to come back for my 30 min Appt. Very poor quality of work. Everything looks great when you pick it up and drive away with a fresh coat of wax on the repairs. But give it a couple months and the poor quality of the work shows. I also keep my car very clean on the interior and when I picked it up there was dirt and scuff marks everywhere. Also wax over spray all over the rest of the car when I picked it up and took forever to get it off. Headlights not leveled. "Limited Lifetime Warranty" is a sham. It's clear that the paint is bubbling up and chipping in a corner. Then they proceed to tell me that someone had clearly hit me and that's what is causing it. Yea I don't believe that! read more

I went to this place two times to repair damage to my car. The first time my insurance company sent me and they took care of the damage to my car quickly and effectively. I was impressed at first. When I got hit by a distracted driver I thought to myself "I got great service from Classic last time I'll go there again.." Big mistake! they fixed the car quickly enough but soon after I got it back the paint on my rear bumper started peeling and flaking off. I took it back and they said that I must have been hit again. I did get a minor bump but the reason the paint was flaking off was because they didn't put the right amount of "flex compound" in the paint. I explained this to them and they offered to fix it for $600. Not cool in my book. If they had done it right the first time this wouldn't have been an issue. I'll never go back there and STRONGLY recommend that no one else does either. read more

The passenger door of my son's SUV was damaged at the joint. The metal was slightly pushed in making the door pop when opened and limiting how far it would open. The fellow from Classic Collision in Alpharetta checked it out in the parking lot, got some tools and fixed it on the spot. No charge. I am not trying to promote that it is normal for them to do free work...it is just that he thought it could fix quickly and that it was important not to let it keep opening that way or risk further damage. I was hit from behind in my G37S convertible, and the other guy's insurance recommended that i get an estimate at Classic. I was skeptical, but I scheduled an appointment for them to look at the damage. I got a good feeling, so I gave them my baby for repair. In a nutshell I was thoroughly impressed by the professionalism at Classic. The facility is comfortable and friendly. Michael and Paul were my customer service contacts, and they both were top notch. Communication during the process was excellent, almost too efficient. And the most important decision factor in choosing a auto body shop, the repair work was excellent, exceeding even my picky expectations. I even asked them to fix a small scuff on the underside of the front bumper, and when I picked up the car they unexpectedly discounted the price by 10 percent. Wow. Talk about walking away with a good feeling! I hope I never have to visit an auto body shop again, but if I must it will be Classic Collision. The job: replace and paint my Challenger's front bumper. - Paint did not match, and was clearly not how it looked before. - They damaged my front lip during repair. - Paint did not match the second time (worse the second time). - Reassembled my front bumper incorrectly and with missing parts. - Whole process took 5 weeks. - Other shops do so much corrective repairs from Classic Collision that they actually have a reputation for it. Paint did not match: --- I went to pick up my car and realized the paint color was not like it was on the original bumper, I took pictures and had clear photographic evidence to which everyone who went to look at the car basically tried to make me feel like I'm crazy. I went to show them on my phone to which they dismissed it and claimed they couldn't tell (despite that it is literally their "paint guy's" job to be able to discern, you guessed it... paint color). I was then told that they would have to hear from their General Manager who was not there that day. At this point, the impression that they conveyed was that it wasn't even a sure thing that they would correct their mistake despite being a "Geico backed shop" who is supposed to rectify such mistakes. In the mean time, I actually went up the street Palmer Dodge to compare with their billet silver challengers and I also asked the opinion of a couple of people who worked there, to which they thought it was an obvious mismatch in color. Along with them, my friends and family also found it to be very obvious. I soon called Classic Collision (like I almost always had to in order to find out anything) and after they informed the GM of the situation, the whole impression took a stark change towards "if you don't like it, then of course we will just have to repaint it." Damaged front lip: --- Yes, they couldn't even keep my car from getting even more damaged while in their care. It is when I went to pick up my car for the first time, I also noticed my front splitter(lip) was damaged. To this I give credit that they didn't hassle with me after showing them before and after pictures. However, for all I know, they might not have even honored it had I not extensively took pictures of my car right before I left it with them. This alone took them a week to "review," ship the part, and install it. Paint still did not match after the second time: --- It was now a full 4 weeks since I originally dropped off my car with Classic Collision. They wanted me to come by and inspect the bumper before they could be troubled to reinstall it which wound up being pointless since they refused to fix it a third time. I want to also mention that I was extremely pleasant and well mannered at the whole situation, much more so than I would imagine others would be. I was very clear to me that this second time the paint still didn't match, it was even worse this time. While I was very internally frustrated, what I said was "look I know that its really hard and that its not actually such a bad mismatch, but its not how my car was, people shouldn't be able to tell it was not the original bumper" and I also said "look, if you guys are doing the best you can, I can't be mad, it's just that this car means a lot to me and I want it to be just as it was." I wound up speaking directly with the General Manager and he point blank said to me "we can't do any better than this." I then thanked them for their efforts and went to find a shop to fix the job. Bumper was reassembled incorrectly: --- I couple of days later, I noticed that the rubber lining that goes between the hood and the bumper was missing. I then went to look in the engine bay and noticed that there were multiple missing parts such as covers and liners. They couldn't even reassemble the bumper correctly. Due to the timing I noticed it, I Had to wait until after the weekend to bring it back. It was then, after 5 weeks from originally dropping off my car that I was at last able to conclude my business with them even though I had mismatched paint on my front bumper. I then went on to seek another shop for a proper paint job. Other shops do so much corrective repairs from Classic Collision that they actually have a reputation for it: --- I'm not looking for any backlash to come to other shops for their comments but I will say that after visiting two other shops after my experience with Classic, they were very informative. One of the shop's managers actually finished my sentence on where I came from when he said "Classic?- Yep." I am at my character limit but I trust anyone reading this gets the point. read more
