I cannot say enough nice things about Jim and his business. I took in my Mazda CX-30 which had been hit in a parking lot and had to have a door replaced, touch up paint and plastic molding replaced. When I picked up my car, it looked brand new. The paint and molding looked perfect, as well as the door. Although it took a couple of extra days (none of which was their fault as parts were delayed), it was well worth it. Not only did they repair my car, but they detailed it as well. Seriously, it was just as beautiful as the day I drove it off the showroom lot (and their detail job was better than the dealership's). As far as price, Jim was very fair and showed me the parts he had to order and his estimate/quote was right on the money. I am a woman and in no way did I feel he was dishonest or took advantage of me. I did not pay a dime over that amount. His quote was $2,000 less than the first one I got and trust me this isn't because they do shoddy work. Their work is impeccable and I cannot recommend them enough. He invited us inside his office to sit by his desk and see actual parts (on-line) he was considering ordering for repair, and was completely open about his pricing of the repair & parts process from start to finish. My husband and I have taken two separate cars in for repair and have been thrilled with the results. The work is exceptional, the prices are extremely competitive, and the communication with Jim, the owner was excellent. He gave us dates of when our cars would be ready and kept us updated along the way. His prices and turnaround times blew away all the other quotes from other repair shops. MY BABY'S BACK! I all excited to purchase a new car until the salesman dropped the keys in my hand and said "she's all yours". Suddenly I felt a shift in my soul as I handed the keys to my husband and decided to drive my 15 year old van home. I intentionally avoided the freeway and took the back roads back to Alpharetta from Kennesaw. At that point I decided that I could not get rid of my van as there was just too much history there. The fact that I did not want to trade it in was an indication of some unresolved feelings. I not only wanted to keep it but I wanted to have it painted and repaired as needed. I have two motor heads in the family so I knew that they would take care of the "under the hood" matters. When it came to painting, I had stored Express Auto Body Service in my memory bank after they had taken care of one of our cars years ago. We had gotten an estimate previously but weren't sure if we wanted to invest the money in such an old vehicle so matters were placed on hold. We could have chosen to just hit the hot spots where the sun had severely damaged the paint but instead decided to have a complete makeover When she finally arrived home, we knew that we had made the right decision because she looked great. Upon seeing her, my first reaction was to hop out and give her a hug. No I'm not strange, I just know that hugs are appreciated. I really missed my baby! Once the paint has cured in a few weeks, I will be taking her back for be buffed and boy she will be popping for sure. If you have an older vehicle that is still mechanically sound and holds great memories, consider painting it and keeping it in the family for the sake of nostalgia. Actually, since I work close to home I will using my "old school" baby as my primary vehicle and for local errands. The "new girl" will be used for vacations and road trips if there ever is such a thing once Covid-19 subsides. Anyway, I definitely recommend Auto Body for your auto repair and painting needs. Took my old beater/racer here to get a new paint job and to get all the dents out. After a week, my car came out like new. After I left, I noticed that the rear wing had about a 1/4 inch gap between the trunk and the wing. I took the car back to the shop and the team gladly took the car back in and fixed it ASAP. Received a great price estimate and then spent the rest of the day getting 10 more quotes, only to return to Express Auto Body for the repair. I surely wasted my time going to other places.
