I recently had my car repaired at Classic Collision. I was referred by a friend who had her car repaired here as well. They have an onsite rental car service, so you can pick your rental up at the same time you drop your car off for repair. Tamara was my service rep. She kept informed regarding the status of my vehicle almost every day. When I picked up my car, every service performed was thoroughly explained. My car is like new and it came with a warranty on all of my parts for as long as I own the vehicle. I hope to not have another accident, but if I did I would definitely take it back to Classic Collision. read more

I went to classic collision yesterday for an estimate on a slight nick on my car. I was quoted $2,200 at first my car is a 2001 Camry not even worth that much, then offer went down to $1,200. Today took it to car wash and for $80 the nicks were buffed out in 30 mins. Classic wanted to keep my car for 4 days and charge me $1,200. Will never go back to them. read more

Terrible customer service, even worse repairs (or lack thereof). Where do I start... I got rear ended with minor damage and was told to go to this shop by Nationwide. Repairs that they estimated would take 1 week ended up taking 8 weeks. Then they left a lot of damage unrepaired under the car thinking I wouldn't notice. When I inspected the car I brought it up and they claimed it's "just BMW engineering". The people that work here will act nice at first and try to get over on you. Absolutely the lousiest shop ever. Unless you have a sports car that is worth over $60K, their attitude towards you is that you're just going to have to wait. They've had my car for over 2 weeks now for what the shop called "minor repairs" as a result of it being stolen. They've had other cars come in and out in that time and they keep giving me the runaround about parts needing to be ordered and the like. One month to repair a tree limb falling on my back window and trunk lid was a long time. The fact that the mechanics damaged my driver side seat and all of the dashboard electronics as well as "lost "some items and damaged some of the paint, put me over the edge. The service rep, Amanda, is a fast talker, but does not solve your problems. She said that she would correct the issues, but never followed up. They still have a piece of trim that they have not returned. I'm so sorry I brought my BMW to this service center, I would never recommend them to anyone. read more

UNPROFESSIONAL, UNETHICAL, INCOMPETENT COMPANY - HAD TO CALL POLICE I strongly regret the decision to allow Classic Collision to work on my vehicle. My vehicle was involved in a not-at-fault collision. Below are the issues that I experienced with this company. * Classic Collision had possession of my vehicle for 4 weeks for a simple repair (bumper, fender, headlamp, grill insert, cracked windshield, and alignment). * Mike handled the repair process of my vehicle. Mike was unprofessional and extremely disrespectful directly to me when I raised concerns with the issues I had. He wrote an email to me stating "I should seek professional advisement". He also cursed and yelled at me in the parking lot of this business (in front of other customers and employees). This was honestly an unbelievable experience as a customer. * I highlighted issues of damage directly from the collision that was never documented (cracked windshield and alignment). On the day before my vehicle was ready to pick up, the shop told me that the insurance company would not approve these items. * The shop notified me one day before my car was ready to be picked up that I was being charged for a new battery even though the initial battery had absolutely no issues at the time I dropped my vehicle off. I asked for the old battery back (for inspection), however they disposed of it without my approval. * I received minimal communication throughout the entire process and was left in the dark concerning many important issues. * The shop refused to accept my credit card method of payment, and demanded me to pay cash (corporate policy / advertisements says they accept credit card). This is because I expressed my dissatisfaction with the experience and did not agree with the charges I was being forced to pay for the release of my vehicle. The shop finally accepted my credit card and released my property, but only after I called the police and had an officer show up to the business. * Lastly, the repairs that the insurance company did approve are not complete and currently have issues (protruding head lamp, scuffs and scratches on head lamp, imperfections in paint job). I will be updating my review as things progress. *****UPDATE***** 7/10/16 Unfortunately, I was involved in a minor fender bender that was not my fault about 1 month after I got my car back from Classic Collision. I obviously took my car to a different body shop to have the repairs done. This new body shop advised me that they would not be able to work on my car because the recent repair work done by Classic Collision was done so poorly. The new body shop told me that it looked like someone repaired my car in their backyard. I was also told that my car was actually unsafe to be driving around with the repair work that Classic Collision had performed. I immediately contacted the general manager, Ryan, about these serious issues and he refused to take any responsibility for the sloppy repair work. He claimed that my car ad prior damage that made it impossible to correctly repair my vehicle. I strongly dispute this claim, since my vehicle was professionally inspected before I purchased it. Nonetheless, I was never informed of any previous damage by Classic Collision. I asked Ryan, the general manager, for his supervisor's contact information, and he actually refused to give me this information. After I pushed Classic Collision to address these issues, a few days later they finally went out to the new body shop to inspect my vehicle. Due to the dangerous repairs that Classic Collision performed on my vehicle, I did not want them working on it again. Classic Collision had to pay the new body shop approximately $1,500.00 just to get my vehicle to a repairable state, in order for the new body shop to completely repair the vehicle damage from the fender bender. I would never allow any Classic Collision location to work on my vehicle again, and I will never recommend this business to any of my friends or family. I have nothing good to say. I recently took my Mercedes to repair my bumper and left with my things stolen from my car and mediocre quality of wok. Granted, I was told to remove valuables from my car, so I am thinking money, electronics, but not sunglasses, air freshener, shoes, Mercedes mug....literally if its not nailed down don't leave it. Its so disappointing because they came highly recommended by Mercedes so I felt confident that everything would be fine. The only reason I gave even one star is because you had to in order to write this review....Had a horrible experience. Went in for minor body work (repair dents, paint) and it came out with a damaged engine with white smoke bellowing out the exhaust and indicator lights on the dashboard stating there was engine damage and parking brake issues. On top of it they refused to take responsibility for the seemingly damaged engine damage and stated they only did body work and the car came in as it is...and told us to drive it off the lot stating it just needed to be driven... whereas we drove the car in to classic collision without any issues, no smoke coming out the exhaust nor any errors/Indicator lights on the dashboard. So we absorbed the cost of having the car towed to the nearest BMW dealership to get diagnostics done on it and found out what is really wrong with the car. According to the BMW dealership classic collision blew the engine/motor while working on the car. My car was supposed to leave the lot repaired... Not broken smdh read more

I would not under any circumstance recommend this shop, I have used the classic collision on Cobb and had a very different experience! The communication is terrible, I received my car back and it drove worse than when I dropped it off. After the rep trying to avoid my calls I was asked to bring the car back in. I was told it was first because I needed a alignment, then new tires. Ultimately Saturday the car was driving so terrible I stopped by another auto shop who informed me that my car had damaged axles. Now suddenly it's not an alignment or tires. But couldn't be a result of the accident since they never checked the Axle anyway read more

The shop completed my repairs in a timely manner and were very responsive when dealing with my automobile. I did receive a chip on one of my tail lights that was not there previously to me taking my car in. The shop was very cooperative and fixed the issue with the tail light. After some initial back and forth on the time it would take to complete the work, everything went very well. Tamara was my service coordinator and she is fantastic! Expensive car = expensive repairs. Okay, I get it. The front desk representative was very attentive and very nice. I'm a MAN for Christ sake so I don't look to be babied - maybe not for some. The service was quick, fast and reliable. The customer service lacks severely and the associates seem "defensive." I don't complain about much, but when my recently detailed car came around after a minor paint repair and LURCH gets out of my car which had a paper mat to cover my front drivers side mat. WHY?... Did LURCH the car driver and "detail" person have mud all over his shoes and all over my mat; it almost seemed like he dug his dirty shoes into my mat on purpose. This review would have been a HELL of a lot better had this not occurred. Also they were "detailing" my car which took longer than the promised time to deliver. I had my rear bumper replaced at Classic Collision through Geico. Their service was quite fast. I had to negotiate with my Geico rep to use the OEM parts, but once we decided to do that, my car was ready in 2 days. Enterprise being in the same location was very convenient. I'm taking off one star because of the following problem. When I was about to leave the location, I realized the low tire pressure lamp. I alerted one of the workers who told me (without checking the tires) it probably lost pressure due to change in the temperature and I just had to fill the tires up. So I drove home, only to find out that there was a nail in one of the tires, causing the low pressure. I had an out of town trip the next day and did not have time to return to Classic Collision, so I had to repair the tire on my own. Other than this problem, my experience was positive. read more

My Mercedes hydroplaned and there was some minor body damage, but apparently major suspension damage ($13K in estimated damage). They kept the car about 4 weeks and I reminded them I was leaving the country and would not be available for two weeks. They may have rushed the repairs because I was informed I could pick up the car on Saturday before I was leaving on my trip. When I returned I was placing something in the trunk and noticed the rear bumper cover was cracked. They either forgot or overlooked the cracks and I'm going to have to return the car to get the bumper repainted. I'm awaiting an appointment time to return the car and will update the results of this review after the repair is completed. Somewhat annoying at this time. read more

I own a 2014 BMW 328d I was told yesterday morning that they were assembling my car. Then they will wash and inspect my car after that. And that it would most likely be ready for this morning.  I told him I had a road trip but I am going on first thing yesterday evening, and I want to the car for last night. They said that they will try their best will call me back to give me an update. I was told last night that they need to allow time for some glue to dry that's holding in some emblems, and that the vehicle will be ready first thing this morning. I don't know what emblems they are talking about, because my bumper doesn't have any emblems on it. I arrived this morning, and I'm now being told that the bumper was not even installed on the vehicle. That it will take several more hours for them to finish the vehicle. This is the second time that this shop has lied to me. The first time was when they admitted they ordered the wrong bumper, and didn't find out until after it was painted. When I called their attention to this, their story changed... and I was told by their parts manager that it was the correct bumper with the precut lines for the sensors to install into. Spoke with the general manager, and he told me that they will get it done as quickly as possible. I addressed my concerns about the poor communication, and the conflicting stories I was being told. The manager also admitted that they did in fact cut the holes for my sensors out in the bumper, and that they did not use the correct parts. He said the bumper was on back order, and they ordered a special kit to attach the sensors... but the sensors are now "glued" into the bumper. I called United BMW of Roswell, and they said they can get the bumper. I am disappointed beyond all belief right now, and upset with the constant conflicting stories I am being told. Now the value of my vehicle has decreased because of these repairs. read more

She stayed on top of the insurance company every step of the way, communicating with them and updating me regularly so that I knew what was going on. Overall this is going to be a REALLY positive review, so please keep reading, but let me explain the one star first. The parking lot itself could create many customers for them. It is absolutely terrible and dangerous. It is really small, always full and not always anyone around to show you where to park. I expect a little more "sexy" in Buckhead, so if you are the same, don't expect much. I literally had to do the Austin Powers wheel maneuver 18 times trying to get into a safe spot to get out of the vehicle. Also, speaking of not sexy, the lobby area is FILTHY. Literally GIANT dust bunnies, rhino's, elephants under the furniture. Adding insult to injury, apparently they have a "cleaning guy" who is there all.day.long (huh?) There was also a dude in the back office/cube area literally sound asleep and snoring - keepin' it classy in the ATL. On these points I would ask that they get it together. NOW for the amazzzing part!!! I had five inch gouge in my left front bumper- so not horrible damage (so FYI- I can't speak to really bad damage). To the review diva who talks about his "exotic car", I wouldn't take that car to this shop anyway. To the other diva who complained about a different person calling him back, that's how ALL shops are. My car was brought in on a Tuesday and ready by that same Friday. FRED is da' man! I didn't get a ton of updates, but he was super fair and super fast. He even offered to hold the car free of charge if the same day he was calling wasn't good for me (since I was going out of town). Marny is great and everyone for the most part was super friendly. Basically, if you are nice to them, they will take good care of you/your vehicle. read more

brought my car in was given an appt date/time to bring it in. Which I did, then they explained the process and I was in and out in about 20 mins. Also got the rental while there. Got a text messages throughout the process updating me on the repairs and date my car would be ready. Car was ready in 5 days rather then the 7 they quoted. The lady at the front desk is a crucial part of this team as she knows pretty much everything and she is doing it all, all at the same time. Oh and my car looked great at pickup. I arrived and was yelled at for coming too early. The account executive said I was lying and that no one had told me that. I asked "is the customer is always right?" and he refused to answer. Progressive didn't want to pay the Smart Center repair rate. So they recommend this shop. I caved in. Big mistake. Missed repair deadlines. Poor customer service. No/delayed call backs. After all that, car was not right and had multiple pieces missing, rattles, they even left the horn dangling. Update 1/6/10- Filed BBB complaint. Business refused partial refund request after having to return twice to get repairs properly completed. BBB status unresolved due to unwillingness of business. read more

I want to share with other consumers that in all of my dealings with auto body repair services this one is by far and away the most irresponsible and poor quality service and work. The 7-10 business days for the "minor" front bumper became 35 business days. When they returned my car to me, the replacement hood had a major outward dent and visible paint blemishes. Rather than replace teh radiator support assembly as they billed both me and my insurance company, the cut the damaged part out and left a hacked up bracket in my car. I refused to allow them to correct their mistakes and I took my car to a reputable auto body center. This company should be beyond embarassed for the poor service and workmanship, and the fraud they committed. read more

Fantastic experience. Someone backed into my front shattering my one of my front headlights, crushing my passenger bumper, etc... These guys did a fantastic job all around. I received daily phone calls letting me know the repair progress and were very responsive. The car looks brand new. Do not under any circumstances take your car to Classic Collision if you get body damage to your vehicle. Your insurer may recommend you go here but it's a scam. They will most likely give you an estimate for repair that's way too high. This is by design. It's a scam between Classic Collision and your insurer. They want to be able to take possession of your vehicle permanently, which can be done in Georgia if the car is declared a 'total loss'. Then you get money back to buy another car. This is what could have happened to me. Instead I went to my own repair shop and they repaired my vehicle at half the cost. read more

I am reviewing this place as I sit and wait for my car. It was supposed to be ready yesterday and here I am, 24 hours later, still waiting. I have been here today for two hours - still waiting. I left my rep (Wale) three phone messages before coming today - none of which he bothered to return. And I spoke to the front desk twice asking for updates which I never got. At this point I'm so annoyed at the lack of respect for customer's time that I will never come back here even if their work is good. A nice service guy named Sean came and explained to me why there was a delay. That's the only reason why I'm giving them one star. BUYER BEWARE!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON-EXISTENT AND REPAIRS ARE SUB PAR. I took my car here - against the advice of my insurance company - because I had dealt with two other locations of Classic Collision and been highly pleased with the employees and quality of work. This location is night and day different from them. First I called to schedule an appointment to bring my car in. The regular guy was on vacation so I dealt with a young lady. She wasn't at her desk so I left a voicemail, clearly stating what I needed. She never called me back. I had to call back to make the appointment. I won't go into detail but for the next 4 weeks I went through a pissing match between them and my insurance company. First there was a delay in starting the work. Then the work wasn't right. The regular guy had gotten back from vacation and he argued with me in the parking lot that everything was fine. Finally I got my car back into the shop to correct the work. I still wasn't 100% satisfied but they pointed out to me that a previous repair could be the problem. So I left. I wasn't a mile from the shop when I noticed that my outside temperature indicator on my dash wasn't working. I called them immediately. They said come by any time except Monday to get it taken care of, as the sensor most likely wasn't attached correctly. I called ahead and was told not to come that day. I went the next day and a man from the body shop just looked under the car and fiddled with the settings inside the car. He said he couldn't tell what was wrong and wanted to take my car to a dealership. I said ok, but they would have to come pick my car up from my office (less than a mile from their location). They agreed. At this writing they have stood me up 3 times!!! I finally called the corporate office and left messages for the District Manager. He hasn't called me back either. I called Corporate today and spoke to another District Manager. I'm taking my car to the Sandy Springs location and I'm not dealing with Buckhead ANY MORE!!! read more
