I got a chip on my windshield driving my brand new Subaru home from the dealership. It was pretty devastating to have that happen so soon. I was planning on leaving on a trip tomorrow, so he kindly came right away to fix the chip. I was afraid it would start to spread since it had already started to fracture out. Luckily, it was small enough to be repairable. He did such a great job, I can barely notice anything! He has a lot of tints to match the color of different windshields and this really makes a difference. On day 1 I was greeted by Gabriel, and he was very nice and knowledgeable on what they do. And immediately took me out to inspect my truck, and then we went to get me an estimate. I thought the prices were very reasonable, and that made me happy. I wasn't expecting to drop off the car that day, but Gabriel said they could reach out to the Rental car agency. Unfortunately, Enterprise only had one vehicle and it was out of the price range that insurance would cover, so I said I would have to look somewhere else. That's when Louie reached out to Enterprise, and was able to get me the vehicle for the amount that the insurance covered. I was very impressed!! I was told that it would take about a week for me to get my car back, but actually it only took about five days. So I was happy to get my truck back before the holiday weekend. I was called on 7/1 and was informed that my truck would be ready in a few hours and that it was being washed. When I arrived, my car was in pristine condition, Jesus and his team did a wonderful job. I felt like a VIP client. And I'm sure everyone that's taken their vehicle there, feels the same way. Like if there was a problem, she would be a problem to deal with. I then called Tri County and spoke with Kirsten. I was specific that I wanted to be sure there were no leaks and she assured me they guarantee their work, so I gave them the business. Within an hour after dropping off my car she calls me to tell me there's rust around the windshield frame and that the other people did a really bad job, blah, blah, and that they wouldn't be able to guarantee the work because of it or I could take it somewhere and pay $200 for them to fix it, I was not pleased at all. I asked if this was common and she said it is. Then state that up front before I bring my car in, so I can look somewhere else instead of finding out you're reneging on the guarantee AFTER my windshield is already out of the car. Then she calls me at 2:00 p.m. when I'm 15 miles away to tell me my car is ready. I ask when they close and it's at 3;00 p.m., so I have to bust a** to get there in time. Who closes at 3:00 p.m....?, and you need to say that IN ADVANCE. I finally get my car out of there and it's obvious right away there's a weird squarish sticky mark right in the center of the windshield. And as the next 2 days go by, it just keeps getting worse. Sticky square marks everywhere, nice work. I call and speak with James the owner who tells me that the Fuyao windshields have been problematic and this is the 3rd time in several months they've had issues. Hmmmm....and yet you keep coming back for more? I decided I'd had enough and took my car somewhere else. I was even nice enough to return the sticky squares windshield back to them. At the end of it, I realized that nearly everything Kirsten and I discussed went into some vortex where in the next hour or day, she acted like we'd never discussed it. This is no way to do business.
