These guys are Insurance scammers. My insurance company gave them money to remove the rear window of my Ford F150 and they did not. The auto slider fell out and I returned it for replacement and they have a$$ fixed it. They will not return my phone call. My fix took two weeks longer than they said. I had an accident with my car on October 30th, 2020 and was rear ended with not a lot of damage to the rear end of the car. It was recommended that I take it to registers auto collision and service is in Leland North Carolina for repair. The car was delivered on November 2nd. I was repeatedly promised and assured with numerous phone calls to Bernie Carlisle that my car would indeed be ready way before I had to drive to Myrtle Beach on December 9th for my trip to Newark, NJ. All the assurances, false promises and empty words went to the trash bin. Just got word that my car won't be ready until Thursday December 9th after all. I had to be on the road by 6:00am in order to make my flight at 9:30 am in South Carolina. So much for that. I am at a loss as to why it took so long and cost so much to make the repairs. They really provided such poor reliability and customer support. They just don't care. read more

I dropped my car off on Novemvber 2nd 2022 and had an estimated pick up for November 30th. Here it is the 5th of January 2023 and still no car. I have had numerous other estimated completion times( now its Jan 13th) only to have one thing after another come up. Twice when the car was ready to be put back together, an EXPERT came in and required brackets to be welded! We were told 2 weeks ago that we were waiting on the welder to weld the latest brace. this morning , husband checks his email and we are still waiting for the welder. Then it still has to go back to paint! What the heck?? I thought the guys doing the work were the experts!!!! After all, this is their profession! I can not attest to the condition my vehicle will be returned, or the quality of workmanship. I can only attest to the fact that they do not have their $hit together! 3 months on a job that was estimated to take 30 days!!!! I want my car back ASAP and I want it done right! This review is for the Register's Auto in Leland unable to locate their location on yelp. This location has just been sold and I could not tell you the owners name but the sign out front still says Register's. I dropped my car off 1 month ago today and finally picked up today assuming all repairs completed, initially told would be 1 week for repairs. Nearly every other day starting after the first week the excuses began, mind you no follow up calls from company all contact was initiated from me. Here's a list of excuses, insurance company didn't come out, company sold to new owners, all new painting equipment so all had to be retrained, many people calling out sick, paper work didn't transfer and so on. Not once did any employee I spoke with apologized for all the delays. All said and done I picked the car up today and the additional repairs that I received an estimate for and authorized to be done were not even touched. Completely forgotten about and still just more excuses, everyone else's fault. I can only assume repairs that were done are correct but who knows. To summarize if you intend to ever use this company for repairs you have been warned. Buyer beware!!!! read more

Took my car after someone rear ended me. It was of State Farm's approved body shops but I am not sure. Manager and his mechanics are disorganized. Brought my car in and was told it was going to take 3 days, it was more like 3 weeks. Things were taken out of my car and not put back in once it was "ready" to return back to me. Paint job on it was dripped on some parts. Problems that were discussed in the beginning were fixed more so last minute as I was told. Don't recommend this place. Doesn't really seem like a place to trust at this point. We're pretty understanding at least. read more

AMAZING work done on my Veloster, the staff and technicians went above and beyond in taking care of my car and while my expectations were high they went above my expectations and did better than factory quality work. did something stupid leaving a bank drive-thru. went to registers and got an estimate for repairs. gave them my vehicle and the repairs were done in a reasonable amount of time. the repairs were excellent, they even repaired something not observed and therefore not given to my insurance co. i worked with brian. he was very professional and thorough with my repairs. i highly recommend registers. read more

Bought vehicle in for some minor work on a Monday and was told 3 to 4 days. I called on the 3rd day and was told the part received was broken and call would not be ready until Friday. I never received any phone calls from them, only replies to mine. To make a long story short, after unkept promises I told them to forget the detailing I requested and was going to pay for and take it off my bill am I picked the car up. We found out later that the cat was infested with ants and their response was they would give me traps. I had to tell them that I will be bring the car back and they would clean it. They knew about the issues with ants. I never received any apology. New to NC cannot say to much for southern hospitality read more

We took our vehicle there after an accident and their job was to 1-diagnose all problems and 2- fix everything we asked them to. Finally got my vehicle back (a week later than promised) and had it less than a day before it started having problems. In the middle of summer it blew the same freeze plug twice, the radiator hose was sucking flat when I drove, the transmission was over heating. They said it was not their problem and would not even look at the vehicle unless I paid for them to send it somewhere else to be diagnosed. I ended up having to replace the whole transmission along with some minor parts. The most annoying part was when just after he insisted that they did everything (including replacing the radiator) perfectly and I pointed out that my radiator hose was sucking flat when I drove he told me "well yeah its bad you should have that replaced." ....If you replaced my radiator and saw a bad hose on it why not replace it or at least tell me about it? They cost me more money than I paid them to not fix my vehicle in the first place!! NEVER GO THERE!!!!! read more
