I read a few reviews, but after seeing Classic Mobile's 5 Star reviews, I decided to contact them to repair a chip recently created by a rock hitting my windshield. Marty said he was available, so within 10 minutes was already at my house to make the repairs. Marty confirmed I did the right thing by calling so soon after the damage, and also parking inside to prevent the sun from making the chip/crack larger. He attached his magic crack repair device and thoroughly explained how it worked, assuring me that it would make the chip less visible and also prevent the expansion of any cracks, or he'd return and refund the money. Within 20 minutes or so it was done, and the chip was less visible. I appreciated Marty's friendliness, expertise, and good pricing! It's hard to find customer service and guarantees like this these days! read more

Marty is amazing! My son had a small chip in his Toyota Prius. Had Yelp find a few different options, including Classic Mobile Windshield Repair. He replied right away, was easy to deal with, found a time the next day. After checking his reviews online (with photos), it was a no-brainer to use Marty. Picked up brand new Rivian R1S and on the way home i got a rock chip in the windshield. Definitely put a damper on delivery day! I thought I would have to replace the windshield but luckily I found Marty and he told me it could be fixed with very little evidence. I called him on Friday around 4pm and he scheduled me in Saturday morning and took care of the repair on my driveway. Super nice guy and did great, efficient work at a very reasonable price! Highly recommend him and will use him in the future (but hopefully wont have to). read more

Marty responded to my inquiry very quickly and with a fair price. We scheduled an appointment for the same day! He came by, inspected the chip, and let me know that the chip had already been taken care of (my wife and I "re-noticed" an old repair after about a year). Marty inspected the repair to make sure it was holding up well, and he even walked me through the process used and some things to look out for in case of future windshield chips. He didn't take payment for his time since he didn't have to fix anything. Overall: 1. Super responsive 2. Very knowledgeable 3. And not only were they a great deal - they were literally 3x cheaper then what the dealer quoted me (I know I know - never get repairs at the dealership but still - that's an insane difference). I made an appointment online and got to the Camarillo location. The lady at the desk asked for my key and a credit card, after which my car was taken in. About 20 mins later I was summoned to the car. I was told that when they applied pressure to apply the resin a "crack out" occurred and now I need to replace the entire windshield. The mechanic said "that's in our policy that it can happen, did the girl at the desk tell you?" NOPE, she never spoke to me other than "Key and we need a credit card". These people are crooks and scammers looking to make more money instead of fixing a small issue. The mechanic then said "well you can replace it with OEM or cheaper windshield we can give you a quote and get it done today?" DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SCAMMED and end up with a bigger problem than you had. I called 3 places who wanted insanely over $1K to replace and recalibrate my windshield. Most new cars have the electronic box for lane assist, cruise control sensors and heated steering wheel on the box mounted on your windshield. Well, here's the thing, having worked with many computer systems, shouldn't things get reset when you unplug and plug them back in? Why does anything need to be recalibrated from a hard restart? Mr. Pink's does not charge for that. Replace the glass, mount and replug in the electronic mount. Everything works great. Just as it did before the pinecone pounding. My new windshield was done and set in 2 hours. You guys rock, are honest, and don't rob people blind...especially women. We all know how auto places try to tell women we need extra services that are usually not needed or even made up. Thank you for acknowledging that women can know about cars and electronics as well as men. Quality, timely service, perfect glass and great mounting for a true value. 5+! I got a small rock-crack about a month ago, and I had a little windshield repair kit at home and tried to fix it, but I only had a little resin left. After trying it looked like I did not do a good job. So I contacted Marty yesterday and he set up an appointment today - and came right on time. He looked at the crack and told me that I did a "good job" repairing the crack. That's it! In less than 5 minutes he said I was good and then left. No charge! Also, he was extremely friendly.
