The only honest guy in auto glass replacement. During the Christmas storms my RAV4 Prime was assaulted by angry and heavy pinecones. Cracked and almost broke through my windshield. I called 3 places who wanted insanely over $1K to replace and recalibrate my windshield. Most new cars have the electronic box for lane assist, cruise control sensors and heated steering wheel on the box mounted on your windshield. Well, here's the thing, having worked with many computer systems, shouldn't things get reset when you unplug and plug them back in? Why does anything need to be recalibrated from a hard restart? Mr. Pink's does not charge for that. Replace the glass, mount and replug in the electronic mount. Everything works great. Just as it did before the pinecone pounding. My new windshield was done and set in 2 hours. You guys rock, are honest, and don't rob people blind...especially women. We all know how auto places try to tell women we need extra services that are usually not needed or even made up. Ernie and his worker are simply the best. I have been coming to these guys for the last 8 or 9 years for windshields and windows for my cars. As most people experience driving down the road, rocks fly up and chip your windshield. Ernie and his worker have been able to fill in the chips but on occasion, I don't get to them quick enough the crack spreads which has made me replace the windshield twice already. He accepts insurance, but for me my windshield is cheaper than what my insurance pays, so I pay out of pocket. My windshield deductible is $500. My windshield replacement has been $300. Still a fair price. When I've called the "Safe" window people for replacement as the request of insurance -- they wanted $548 for the windshield. Basically my out of pocket now increases $200 to use their service while my insurance only pays $48. Therefore, Mr. Pink will continue getting my business. Highly recommend them! read more
