My daughter and I went here on Mother's Day. I didn't need my nails done, but I got a pedicure. My daughter got a pedicure and her nails done. The woman who did my pedicure took her time and did a great job. I wouldn't say there was anything in particular that stood out about it, but it was still great. However, one thing I really liked about this place was that they probably took their time more than any place I've ever gone before on my daughter. She's 7, so a lot of places just kind of fly through her polish and pedicure... and understandably so at times. Nonetheless, it made me really happy to see how well they treated her... like a real pedicure. She's never gotten that and I was happy she got it for the first time on Mother's Day of all days. I would highly recommend this place. And I really thank them for treating my daughter like they would any customer. read more

Horrible customer service pedicure lady was rude and sloppy with her work. I was the first there and she rushed through the pedicure. after she was done I had nail polish all over my skin on my feet and she did not do a good job on the rough areas on my heels. She just frowned up and acted like she didn't want to be there. Justin did my nails and he talked about how bad they looked before. when he was done my cuticles had polish on them not to mention that my nail polish started bubbling up when I left. My usual nail place. Close to my neighborhood. decently priced. Really nice girls. I'll give it to these girls... every time I get my nails done here, they do last a while. Of course they try to up sell, it is their job. Quality is a hit or miss. Sometimes they are busy and rush through it. However my upper lip was not properly waxed - it may just have been the girl. European wax center was right next door. I should have known better. I really dislike that I can't tip on my card... or the fact that I have to tip 3 different people for 3 different services. No, no, no I will not return ever. And unfortunately, neither will my sister who used to be a loyal client. We went for a mani-pedi one Saturday. I convinced her to try a gel manicure with me. We liked the same color but didn't think it would be such a big deal. Pedicure was great. We did the classic plus parrafin treatment. My polish wasn't terrific but the girl was really nice. I guess my pedi girl was booked so when she finished, I had to go to another woman for my OPI gel mani. I can't believe they call this a manicure. It was more like a polish change. She did a 30 second soak in just water with a quick attack at my cuticles. She then haphazardly removed my exising nail polish shade, leaving behind a lot on the borders. I mentioned to her that she missed some and she quickly went over them again. Basically, at the end I could still see my old polish on the outskirts of my new $30 gel mani. She then proceeded to make several comments about me and my sister wanting the same shade since she had to put the pot in between her and the other manicurist and share the gel. Furthermore, my skin was stuck to my nails from gel overflow and after I left I noticed that some of the gel looked dull instead of shiny. When I went back a couple days later (it was a holiday weekend) she tried to blame it on me and never once apologized. I don't think they really know how to do the gels, at least not the OPI, since even though they were speaking in another language (which is rude on so many levels), I could tell one was instructing the other and neither of them got it right since my sister had dull looking nails too. After she re-did the top coat, my nails were still sticky and I went home very carefully and wiped them with alcohol (since that's what I'd seen them do at other salons) and they were fine after that. Like I said, my sister used to be a loyal client, but after seeing how they treated me, she won't return either. I'll just stick to T&L nails on Davis Island next time. read more

The best nail place in Tampa, hands down! Justin (only there one day so an appointment is best) is my absolute favorite for the past year!! His personality and talent keeps me coming back every two weeks. I break nails in various sports and he is quick to squeeze me into his schedule without hesitation... When I break a nail, I honestly think, "is today Tuesday?!" Lol. I have gone a few times 30min before closing and he doesn't turn me away. The entire staff is courteous and professional. Really great value here on the sea salt pedicure package. My technician did not rush and did a very thorough exfoliation and massage. The inside is just your average nail shop. No luxury or frills. Service was friendly and I would recommend it and return. read more

Great prices on pedicures with plenty of options for extra services. I don't usually do much to my fingernails, so I asked for a "sports manicure" to clean up my short nails. Looks great! Clean, cozy atmosphere. Didn't have to wait at all, but I went on a Tuesday in the middle of the day. I'll be back for sure :) read more

I have never experience such poor service... It was my first time in the salon and my last... The girl that worked on my pedicure was not friendly and also rough... a pedicure is not suppose to hurt.. she cut me and my big toe was bleeding then 5 mins later she did it to another toe... This place isn't anything to write home about. I was in town for a wedding and got a mani-pedi. They have a set of pedicure treatments that you can choose from. I chose The Royal, and it was fine enough. The manicure was awful. She was in a hurry to finish up to take care of another customer, and as a result put too much top coat on all of my nails. She didn't smooth it out at all. There was so much on, the air from the nail dryer created a ripple effect with the top coat. I was already unsatisfied, so I didn't want to stay longer or discuss it with the manager. I just went home later that day and redid my nails for the wedding. With that said, it's a clean place and the staff is relatively friendly. I just wouldn't return here or send anyone else here either. read more

Frustrated with not able to find a parking space, once again but there's only 5 spaces, at the South Tampa salon I've gone to for years, I decided to try Classic Nails.
